So sorry fuzzy.

PearlyFish · 03/09/2015 20:01

So sorry to hear that fuzzy

Starryeyed1001 · 03/09/2015 20:12

Hi ladies can I join you please...have been TTC our 1st for 6 months and got our BFP yday...in desperate need of some handholding x

ODog · 03/09/2015 21:08

Welcome starry and congratulations. I can't remember who spoke about yoga and not doing certain poses. I spoke to the teacher today and she said at this early stage it's just deep back twists and avoiding overheating as long as you are generally fit and healthy.

Starryeyed1001 · 03/09/2015 21:13

Thank you x I live away from home so counting the days til I can go back and tell my parents etc. Don't see the point in keeping it a secret (I'm not sure I could anyway!) So close friends and family are being told x

Bejeena · 03/09/2015 21:21

Congratulations to all the new joiners, I have only been away for a week and there are lots of threads to catch up on.

I think I am 5+2 but not sure and really scared to call up doctor to make an appointment as I had a lot of waiting in my last pregnancy before miscarriage was confirmed at 9 weeks. I live in Germany and here it is pretty normal to be scanned straight away. So if I did call tomorrow he would tell me to go in but if I am not as far along as I think and no heartbeat yet I will be tearing myself to shreds.

I am going to call on Monday I think so should be at least 6 weeks before first scan. Arghhhh

Brenna24 · 03/09/2015 22:37

It was me. I had my yoga session today. Mine says no core exercises and no cobra, so she is a bit stricter. I had another teacher who wouldn't allow breath holding either.

Belmo · 03/09/2015 23:26

Really really sorry Fuzzy :(

Told DH, couldn't resist, and he's more excited than I expected! A more convincing line today too. Am four weeks tomorrow, I think.

Wait4nothing · 04/09/2015 07:21

Fuzzy - my thoughts are with you!

Wait4nothing · 04/09/2015 07:28

6 weeks today! I'm looking at miscarriage statistics every day and they are slowly improving. Symptoms are growing! I've only felt nauseous one evening but last night picked at my tea. Very sore boobs (might go fine some comfy bras this afternoon) and lightheadedness seems here to stay (daily since 4+2). I'm a teacher (not back you next week) but went in on wed and couldn't manage it yesterday so spent the day snoozing on couch! Not going to be able to do that next week! Going today to build my stamina!

DorotheaHomeAlone · 04/09/2015 08:02

wait snap! I'm 6 weeks today, too. Feeling completely normal so far but definitely happier with each passing week.

Starryeyed1001 · 04/09/2015 11:41

I'm 4 +3 today and just been down to the drs to collect my pregnancy pack...all seems quite scary...did another test just to make sure x not many symptoms here just tiredness in the day and insomnia at night....could be useful as I'm on nights tonight x

Bejeena · 04/09/2015 12:50

@ Fuzzy, what you describe sounds exactly like what I had last month and I wasn't pregnant. Have you done another test this morning to be absolutely sure as even if you are to be pregnant you still wouldn't be quite 4 weeks yet would you? Fingers crossed for you and if not there is always next month xxx

AlfieandAnnieRose · 04/09/2015 15:45

Hi welcome to all the newbies!
I have a question, I thought I was 5weeks tomorrow but that can't be right if my last period was Aug 5th? The due date calculator thing I've used give different dates depending on whether I can put in my cycle length. I have a 24 day cycle and if that is added in it tells me 5 weeks.
Oh I really do not want to only be 4 weeks pregnant, this week has been long!

FuzzyDucker · 04/09/2015 15:47

I plus have been four weeks last Monday. I've done a digi test this morning which is also negative.

My gp was useless when I called yesterday, did I see there is a midwife on her? My mil is concerned I should have an anti d injection as I'm rhesus negative. Any ideas? I had it halfway through last time but not after the birth as DS is also rh neg.

Any advice would be great thanks

Good luck to everyone else xxx

Bejeena · 04/09/2015 16:10

Fuzzy I wish I knew how to advise but I have no idea sorry. But trying to send positive vibes. I don't think you should give up hope yet perhaps if you only 4 and a bit weeks then might still be testing negative? You never know FX

ODog · 04/09/2015 17:01

My last period was 29th July and I think that makes me 5+2 but I'm not sure. I wouldn't worry too much although I know the weeks seem long. They seem much quicker with a toddler to chase.

One of my nct ladies gave birth to her 2nd today. So lovely to see the pics of her big and small babies together. I also met up with some of the other nct girls earlier today and was asked outright if I was pg. so they now know.

AlfieandAnnieRose · 04/09/2015 17:22

How did they manage to guess?!
Yes the weeks are definitely dragging. It would be handy to know how many weeks though so I know when to book for the first scan and for peace of mind, each week is a milestone to me!
Anyone planning on paying for a private scan? I know I won't be able to wait until 12 weeks to check if everything is ok.

AlfieandAnnieRose · 04/09/2015 17:40

This might be useful info to anyone who is a bit unsure, 'when you miss you're first period you're already 4 weeks pregnant'. Ok that makes sense with me being 5 weeks! ODog, you're further along then?

ODog · 04/09/2015 18:00

A few of us were TTC at the same time and over the last 15+months we have all shared way tmi with each other so they have no qualms with just asking outright! Will miss not having an nct group this time around so hopefully those girls get pg soon so we can go through it together.

StormTr00per · 04/09/2015 21:30

Alfie I think I'll wait for the 12 week scan (which seems an eternity from now!) But last time round I was v worried and got a private scan about 16 weeks, as I couldn't wait till the 20 week one!

Starryeyed1001 · 04/09/2015 21:34

Only 2 hrs into my night shift and I already want my bed...it's going to be a long night x

Picolette · 06/09/2015 07:00

Congrats all!!
I was just thinking the same thing Bejeena, only been a few days since I was browsing this thread & it's getting pretty active now.
I'm 6 weeks today!! Couldn't hold out any longer & told our sisters and my BFF this wknd ???? Telling our parents face to face this week. So nice to have the support especially as my SIL has 2 yr old & 4 yr old and sadly had 2 MCs before the eldest. She has so much experience to share and has been so reassuring.

Anybody got advice on sleeping through the night? Waking up 2-3 times every nite then up at 5am ????

ODog · 06/09/2015 07:17

Been a quiet weekend. Hope everyone is ok.

No advice on night waking as my 15mo still has me up 2/3 times per night minimum. I think it's just natures way of getting our bodies used to night wakings. My mum swears she woke up during pregnancy at the same time all of us woke for feeds as newborns. I have no idea if that's true and my DS pretty much marathon fed all night until he was 4/5 mo (I was really good at snoozing through feeds in the end) so no personal experience. It does make sense though.

Picolette · 06/09/2015 09:07

Never thought of that ODog, seems like there's a reason for all these weird body changes.
