Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 37th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 36th grads fred is here

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 52nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Thanks for the good wishes all, was waiting over an hour in the waiting room, during which time baby looking moved phew! Then when I was called in and waiting on the bed of course he started having a rave in there! Meant I was relaxed when they listened in though otherwise I would've poo'ed in my pants. Only heard the heartbeat for all of 5 seconds but it was worth the 2 hrs total we were waiting there

Seems that they get women going in all the time though, they literally tell everyone to come in, she said "hopefully we won't see you too many times"(!!!)

CarrotPuff · 02/09/2015 18:22

JC you can have both. I did with DS.

CarrotPuff · 02/09/2015 18:23

Glad all was ok Looking!

Jcandy · 02/09/2015 18:25

Thanks carrot Smile

Glad all was ok looking! Best to be sure if you are worried though

Yay sky! That's great news Smile

purplewhale · 02/09/2015 18:41

Glad everything ok looking

Enjoy Daisy jc

purplewhale · 02/09/2015 18:42

Hurray for good scan Sky

oneyorkshirepud · 02/09/2015 18:44

Snorted with laughter at 'basically a kilo of turd' ha ha!

Congrats Sky!

Good news Looking, glad everything was okay with baby.

Ga hope the cross little ginger one has a fab first day tomorrow. We had new Year 7s in today, so cute! One class left at the end of the day then a girl walked back in and hugged me and walked out again! Ha! Very sweet but I was so gobsmacked that I didn't have a chance to explain that students don't usually randomly hug teachers at secondary school! Confused

Pleased that I seem to be coping okay with being back at work so far, I was really scared that the awful tiredness would come back. I know we are only two days in but so far so good.

Purple, how many days now?!

batfish · 02/09/2015 19:05

Wow amazing effort on the poo tea - did you feel amazing afterwards??

Good luck to the cross ginger tomorrow ga! I'm sure it will be emotional!

I went to look around one of our hospital options tonight, was quite impressed! There is a paddling birthing pool in every room and they have a couple of labour rooms that promote relaxing environment and active labour etc and you can turn the lights off and have stars on the ceiling and hang off bits of material hanging from the ceiling and sit on beanbags, crazy! Food smelt good too Smile

SecondCupOfTea · 02/09/2015 19:46

I feel awful, surely it's not only me that has thought all along that cross ginger was a cat Blush

Grats on the scan Sky. Got mine tomorrow and for some reason keep thinking I'm going to bump into Carrot in the waiting room Grin

SecondCupOfTea · 02/09/2015 19:47

Oh, and glad it all worked out well Looking Smile

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 02/09/2015 20:02

Thanks everyone. Sorry I've been a bit crap at keeping up StarFlowersCakeBrew and hooyas to all those who need them. looking glad it is all ok. batfish that sounds lovely especially the stars. ga there is no shame in a big old cry once shes through the classroom door. We've all been there.

Will try to post scan photo to FB later.

batfish · 02/09/2015 20:11

Ooh sorry I missed your scan news sky - congrats and looking forward to seeing pic!

5hell · 02/09/2015 20:22

Right i need urgent advice Viroids! (sorry this is going be boring)

Have first mw appointment tomorrow am (excited!)...have sat down to look through folder i received at drs and complete the relevant parts, but the covering letter just vaguely says "please complete the attached questionnaire" ... first page is 'hospital maternity notes summary', then followed by lots of green pages (antenatal summary+pregnancy notes), then family origin questionnaire, VTE risk assessment form, and lastly BMI checklist!

so do i just complete the first page, or the only thing actually called a questionnaire, or as much as I can?!?!?!

hooray for good scan sky !!!! Grin

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 02/09/2015 20:28

5hell just do the page with personal info on like your Dr, emergency contact, next of kin etc. Then there's a couple of pages later on in the green section with questions about diseases and medical history...

ThursdayLastWeek · 02/09/2015 20:42

Hello all.

Sky so happy for your happy scan!
ga good luck fur the cross ginger! For some reason I thought she was littler than that.
And looking, glad your mind is at ease this evening Smile
Ooh bat your hospital sounds positively luxurious...I take it it's private/insurance? You're abroad aren't you?

I hope you don't mind a not-even-remotely-stealth boast...I managed to run 12 miles this evening! I mean I was slower than slow, and I'm aching to buggery now but i did it!!! Half marathon here I come GrinGrinGrin

Indigoblue2 · 02/09/2015 20:52

Groan... I so want to keep up with the Fred and it's just not happening! I'm thinking of you all and hope my Epi-no undergrads are putting in the homework deeply I am so looking at you here

Baby K is doing great, I'm so in love with her! They are just so demanding! You realise why we evolved to find them so irrisitably cute, if we didn't we wouldn't put it all the hours of work required to raise them and pass on our genes... Nothing prepared me for how cute I would find my own child! And the noises she makes are beyond adorable. The squeaks and grunts, and the smell, they are all amazing.

purple it's so close to you having your own baby in your arms too. I know it must be worrying terrifying getting closer to your section but just think of the reward on the other side. You're doing to do great x

jellypi3 · 02/09/2015 21:14

tea don't feel bad, cross ginger was something that was mentioned a loooong time ago.

looking good news :)

I'm so tired just on my way home from a work charity thing

oneyorkshirepud · 02/09/2015 21:14

Hi Indigo, glad baby is doing okay!

Do you know what Viroids? I really enjoyed being upduffed from about 17-23 weeks. Passed the major mc worries, not to tired and not worryingly about movements yet. Now almost 25 weeks and baby's 'pattern' of movement changes everyday. Rather stressful. Currently lying on my left so getting some wiggles now but definitely have sympathies for the Viroids who have had to go and get checked out on this front, it's scary stuff! Bump seems to be bloody massive have grown today too. Mneh.

oneyorkshirepud · 02/09/2015 21:15

P.s. Thursday you are a mentalist.

honeysucklejasmine · 02/09/2015 21:43

Pud glad you're coping thus far back at school.

Ga if she's anything like you, cross ginger will be absolutely fine, you know she will.

Tea lol! You need to come on the Facebook group, then you'd see her.

Sky fabulous scan news, great picture too!

Indigo I am proud to announce that the epi-no training got back on track today :) still only at 7cm but finding it easier now so will start to up the anti tomorrow. Going for twice a day now as well. You would be proud. Thanks for all your help - it's nice to be able to talk to people about such things! not exactly something you talk about over coffee in rl

looking I'm glad you went and I'm glad everything was ok

sky squeee for seeing your little one! Nice to know everything is cooking away nicely (I almost put she there... slip of the keyboard?!)

Feeling much better tonight thanks viroids. Have spent the day lazing with the cat, feel a bit guilty which I know is ridiculous, but I definitely feel like I'm skiving!

Good luck tomorrow ga we'll be here with the tissues!

pretzelpieces · 02/09/2015 22:07

Yay for scan sky!

That's good news looking and good that you got it checked out.

Good luck for your scan tomorrow tea.

DP called it my avionic fluid this evening which made me chuckle. I'm a spaceship now, apparently.

purplewhale · 02/09/2015 22:31

5.5 days to go
Just packed bag for tomorrow - it's gonna be a boring day of 2 injections and hourly blood sugar checks. Have got kindle and iPad, may take some magazines too. DH is coming with me. I also made some biscuits to take to ease the boredom
I'll catch up on posts later Smile

deeplybaffled · 02/09/2015 23:31

Hello, viroids - quick visit to say that I accidentally had a baby this morning. ..This was a definite surprise, as she was a day early, and anyone who knows me in rl will tell you that I don't do early Smile
Birth story to follow, but she was 8 lb 6 oz and was born in triage 25 mins after I got to hospital, so still rather shell shocked. We are both fine, if even more baffled than usual by the whole thing Grin

mountaingirl01 · 03/09/2015 00:45

Blimey deeply! Congratulations!
