Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 37th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 36th grads fred is here

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 52nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Oh lovely toast, we're all here holding your hand.

Hope everyone is ok this morning, sorry about your bad nights sleep jelly.

I won my pushchair in eBay last night - which is good news because now I don't have to wrestle my enormous DS around in the shitty little stroller we've got at the moment Grin

I had mega pregnancy lady crazy dreams last night - so vivid!

gaggiagirl · 02/09/2015 09:15

Morning viroids. As usual me and kiddo will be camped out in new house waiting for a delivery. Today it is timber.
Its her first day at school tomorrow. I've forgotten to buy plimsolls and school bag. Fuck.

honeysucklejasmine · 02/09/2015 09:33

Aaaaah cross ginger is starting school?! How cute! Do you think you'll cope?

OP posts:
batfish · 02/09/2015 09:39

Aww first day at school ga - cute! Make sure you post a pic on fb tomorrow Smile She will be fine in her flip flops and with an asda carrier bag I'm sure haha.

Thursday I bought a wrap the other day, I feel like a bit of a hippy but I like them, I think the babies look so cosy. I got a Hana one but maonly because the lady here who does baby carrying workshops recommended it, I'm always a bit crap at doing my own research! It is lovely and soft though. She did show me the ring slings too but I prefer the wrap, all seem good though.

Went to bed bloody ravenous and therefore grumpy last night but no sleep vomming, woohoo!

Lookingforadvice123 · 02/09/2015 09:43

Off to the antenatal assessment clinic this morning to check on the reduced movements Sad to be honest I called them in the hope that they'd say don't worry as I'm not 23 weeks yet! But they said to come in to check on baby's heart rate etc so I'm now absolutely shitting it. Of course it's good that they're checking...

honeysucklejasmine · 02/09/2015 09:49

Don't worry Looking. It'll all be fine. You'll get to hear baby and be reassured.

mountaingirl01 · 02/09/2015 09:59

All will be fine looking but it's always good to get checked :)

jelly I recommend nct nearly new sales for a lot of things (unless you want to buy new), we've been lucky with being given a cocoonababy and crib, but things like Moses baskets are usually a fiver at nct sales and I got two slings both for £5 each. Overall including cot bed (preloved) and travel system (bought from friend) we've at the very most spent £500 (and this is over exaggerating) not at all related to my inability to not buy cute clothes you would be surprised how many of the little things get given by work etc -like ga (yay for mat leave!) I was given a 'nappy cake' thing that had wash stuff, vests, nappies etc in it, so bad as it sounds I suggest holding fire on buying the smaller things and seeing what you are given (that sounds really awful sorry).

I'm waiting on a delivery too! My cot mattress! Very impressed so far with kiddicare, they text me to tell me when delivery would be, let me move it today and then text me again this morning to tell me an hour window of delivery let's see if they come now

Dh had a horrible big exam yesterday :( so I took him down to Birmingham for it and got to see some old friends which was lovely (we used to live in brum) we also had a yummy dinner in our favourite South American restaurant, but I don't think baby agreed with it...38 weeks and I am woken to my first vomming Hmm

ThursdayLastWeek · 02/09/2015 10:07

Oh no mountain. Pregnancy really knows how suck the joy out of everything doesn't it?

I think I'm not quite hippy enough for a wrap bat - I borrowed a friends and it was beautiful and heavy and soft but wrapping intimidates me! I have a baby and a toddler Tula already, so I might just rent or borrow a ring sling for the early days.

Good luck looking I'm sure all will be fine. But there's no harm in getting checked out.

picklethistle · 02/09/2015 11:35

Thinking of you looking I'm sure all will be well and hearing baby's heart beat is exciting!

I'v been lurking a lot can't keep up with the chat and am still trying to figure out who is who on Facebook.

8 weeks and 3 days over here and I am busting out of my clothes! I'm going to have to go shopping. I really hoped I could hold out until after the scan.

SecondCupOfTea · 02/09/2015 11:39

Hope Toast is ok (I'm not on the facebook group yet so am guessing).

Right Viroids, excuse me lowering the tone, but who was it who mentioned their alarmingly large poos the other day?

I was checking my weight gain due to the amount of bloating I've been having nothing at all to do with galaxy caramel, oh no no no and noticed I'd lost 1.4kg over about 10 days. I jokingly mentioned to DP that 0.4kg could be the difference between having a great big poo or not (but unusually for me I'd not poo'd that day).

The next day I weighed myself again, then realised I really needed to do my overdue poo. After the evacuation, I re-weighed myself....and I'd lost 0.7kg Shock

700 fucking grams in a poo! Shock How on earth does that happen? I should be grateful on two counts - firstly I was not constipated, and secondly it flushed Grin

Much bigger than that and it'll be competing with the epi-no.

I apologise for lowering the tone

ThursdayLastWeek · 02/09/2015 11:44

Basically a kilo of turd GrinGrinGrin Tea!

MollyBloomYes · 02/09/2015 11:49

I've often been tempted to weigh pre and post poo. Glad someone has done the grunt work (LOLZ) for me.

Hope all OK looking and thinking of you toast.

I did not get on with wraps at all, but I only really wanted a sling for round the house and being able to chase after ds at toddler groups. Going to get a cheap palm and pond mei tai from amazon for first few weeks then friend offered me her lenny lamb ergo til they have another baby whoop whoop! She's getting married next year so no baby til at least nine months after Smile

Still so bloody tired, starting to wonder if I need to look into iron levels. When do they do the second blood test? Maybe I'll wait til then. First daisy birth class tonight so Ned to perk up for that!

SecondCupOfTea · 02/09/2015 11:51

Thursday I shouldn't say this as it'll sound like I eat loads and loads and loads of galaxy caramel, but the 200g bars have 5 rows of 5 big chunks, so kept in the fridge and having a row a day it lasts 2 5 days Blush

ThursdayLastWeek · 02/09/2015 12:09

Haha, got it sussed, I like it! I just went straight over the road to the village post office and bought a load of chocolate, no galaxy but dairy milk caramel will do me today Grin

Galaxy is usually way too sweet for me, but as soon as I read that my mouth started watering!

I reckon I might be sneaking into 2nd Tri as have changed sheets, done some washing, cooked a homemade lunch with actual veg and prepped dinner too Shock. DS firmly in front of CBeebies though.

Worst of all I have a v long run planned for this eve - I really really want the snug feeling of completing a half marathon when upduffed so tonight is the trial run to see if it kills me.

jellypi3 · 02/09/2015 12:31

i swear trapped wind is the bane of my life right now. Chugging peppermint tea like mad, it's soooooo painful :( :(

gaggiagirl · 02/09/2015 12:43

mountain ooh I bloody love kiddicare, the service is excellent I got my cot bed mattress from there too.
jelly do squats if you can, it should shift it a bit.
honey I think I'm ok about her going to school but I also feel as if I need moral support. I might ask dp to take an hour off work to help ease the hysteria tomorrow. I'm sure I wont cry toooooo much.

5hell · 02/09/2015 14:54

tea it's something we've all thought about doing - 10/10 for completion! ;)

looking presumeably it's the first time you've contacted them about movements so perhaps they thought it best to get you in to check and provide reasuurance/info about what's 'normal'. hope it went well.

Soooooooo bloated!!!! Cannot do trousers up properly!

pretzelpieces · 02/09/2015 15:43

Yay for 12 weeks Thursday!

Thanks pud, it seems like you are me but 5 or 6 weeks ahead which will be helpful! so I know exactly when I'll go into labour yep yep

Hooray for finishing work ga and mysterious vaseline presents!

I feel crap but trying to keep my grumps at bay a bit. Boobs have officially expanded out of old bras which I was using alongside new ones. Cleavage central in the maternity ones that I'm already growing out of! BOOBZILLA

pretzelpieces · 02/09/2015 15:44

Oh and good luck looking, I'm sure all will be well x

CarrotPuff · 02/09/2015 16:03

Yay for pushchair Thursday! And re energy burst - that was me a couple days ago. Today I can barely move! (sorry) Yy to Galaxy being too sweet, it's like you're eating pure sugar to me! I'm very impressed with your running btw.

Happy first school day tomorrow little Ga! Ga I hope you've got enough tissues! I would love to ship DS to nursery every day

Looking I'm sure they said to come in because their policy is that they'd rather check you over, not because they think there's a problem. I hope you and baby are ok, please let us know how it went Flowers

Poor you mountain, I hope you feel better soon.

Tea Grin

Molly they do bloods at 28w appt. I remember mine was quite low at that point so if you suspect it might be the case it could be worth getting it tested earlier.

jelly there was a Fred on trapped wind in Pregnancy a few days ago, and someone suggested doing "child's pose" - I guess you can google it?

DS had almost 2h nap today, yay! Double yay as I had a nap too! Grin (sorry Thursday!)

Just demolished cheese and ham sandwiches and the world seems to be a better place Grin

purplewhale · 02/09/2015 16:35

Afternoon lovelies. Struggling to keep up but hurray for first days at school and heavy poos and prams Smile

I've been out for lunch, bought hospital snacks for tomorrow from M&S and got my puncture fixed (hurray for not needing a new tyre!)

House is clean thanks to cleaners so I just need to do some tidying up.

Last mummynatal tonight. Might see if I can use her FB page to sell my birthing ball(s) as I won't use them again

Need to make up the spare bed as poor DH spent last night on the sofa, he'll get the bed to himself tomorrow night when I'm in hospital and for much of next week

ThursdayLastWeek · 02/09/2015 16:44

carrot Envy

Enjoy your last mummynatal purple Smile

Jcandy · 02/09/2015 17:25

Picked up my iron supplements today and they've given me ferrous sulphate. Does anyone know if I can take this with my pregnacare or do I have to stop that?

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 02/09/2015 18:01

Had a scan today! Grin minisky is 11 weeks exactly. Planning to tell the girls tomorrow at DPs birthday dinner... Cake

gaggiagirl · 02/09/2015 18:18

Awww congratulations sky!
jc ooh, really not sure but at a guess I would say stop the pregnacare.
