Debbsy how about '5 GOLDEN RINGS...of fire'?
Glad the bleeding has shown to be OK.

LA, it is bad when they cock up, no where near as frustrating, but I was woken up earlier by the phone ringing, the midwife asking why I hadn't turned up to my appointment today, I didn't even know I had an appointment today, I have one booked tomorrow, but I could have had a sweep today afterall, and I wouldn't have minded seeing someone today, my swelling is just getting worse, I literally can't move my feet now, I am walking like a sodding penguin!! Anyway, no moaning day today!! LOL

Dingdongdebbsyandbibbyonhigh · 05/12/2006 14:28

Just had some bad news

Someone has broken into our car and stolen my labour bag, ward bag and the baby clothes bag, my CD player, CD's and some handy little speakers I had so I could hear music in labour. They also took the stereo (which I don't care about as much as I keep telling DP to remove it each time and it's his fault if he lost that). I told DP not to leave the bags in the car - he's claiming he hid them - but I know for a fact he didn't - but he never ever listens to me. He thinks he knows best and that as our car is rubbish - no one would touch it. He forgets that his new office is located in a real shitty part of Plymouth (I didn't want him to go there - but hew said it was better)

I'm most upset about a little teddy bear I bought for baby - which was to be a special present from me and was in the labour bag.

I'm very very upset, and having spent over half an hour crying because of the crap about the consultant (I see them tomorrow at 2.20 I insisted as the woman on the desk obviously didn't know what she was talking about and said that the induction was the date - the consultant didn't make that appointment - the MW did.

Luckily I managed to track down my own MW and she talked me through - not sure what to do about this new news - I have been crying swearing and I know it can't be good for me or baby... baby is moving lots now - I've probably stressed it out - and don't know what to do now....

DP has contacted the Police - they don't care at all by the sounds of it. Basically it's DP's fault for parking it where he parked it. DP found the bag with the baby clothes in - nothing else.

Apparently my insurance won't cover it - the car is in my name - but DP passed his test first so he went on the insurance as a secondary party. If I was driving I would never have left the car where he left it or been so stupid as to leave stuff on show at this time of year.

DP says that it looks like a professional job - they have cut the rest of the stereo out. DP can't understand why they would hit ours - the fact that (against my wishes again) he advertises his PC repair company on the sides of it speaks volumes to me.

He's supposed to be intelligent.

I feel so helpless at the moment and I'm finding it hard to calm down.

NativityJane · 05/12/2006 15:23

LA, (I have left you a message on the new November thread) it doesn't matter who was driving it, if the car is insured and it is broken into, unless either keys were left with the car, or a window/door left open or unlocked, the insurance will pay.

Dingdongdebbsyandbibbyonhigh · 05/12/2006 15:35

i thought that too.Bloody bloody hell try and take him some deep breaths and calm down nothing is worth getting yourself or baby upset about like this.Ive got some stuff you can have if you need it let me know or if there is anything else i can do.

LadyAnne1stTimeMum · 05/12/2006 16:02

Have calmed down a little .
