Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 34th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 34th grads fred is here

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 51st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

My natal hypnotherapy cd doesn't cover breathing techniques, just relaxation more.

Can some lazy daisy folk tell me what the daisy breathing techniques are? I really wanted to do classes but none within about 150 miles Hmm

Indigoblue2 · 26/07/2015 21:48

la obviously you're excluded from that request!!

WilHarlot · 26/07/2015 21:49

La I echo the others. Don't be afraid to stamp your feet. My friend gave birth in a lift because the mw wouldn't listen to her.

RhiannonElward · 26/07/2015 21:50

I was just about to ask that myself Indigo, this sounds promising Smile

honeysucklejasmine · 26/07/2015 21:54

Come on La, dial up the Scottish and scare the softue southerners in to doing what you say. We're wimps down here, honest!

ZylaB · 26/07/2015 21:57

Definately stamp your feet la and get fisted examined!!

Apologies for offering H up earlier, just got in from out of hours docs and the poor live has a virus, complete with little spots! So much cuddles. Boob and calpol incoming! (Thoight, well hoped!!, that it teething couldn't be that bad!)

WouldRatherHaveCake · 26/07/2015 22:00

Lol @ hulk out.

la totally agree with stamping feet. Tears help too!

Purpleball · 26/07/2015 22:06

La hope you've got that examination

Aww Zyla poor wee thing. Hope she feels better soon.

Picking DH up from work tomorrow to go back to IKEA for the correct thing tomorrow. Hope they take the other back as we've opened it!

LaLaLaaaa · 26/07/2015 22:18

Think waters just broke but I'm not sure - may have just wet myself. Back on monitor, contractions ramping up.

Daisy birthing - three different breaths:

Resting breath - in for 4, out for either 6 or 8 (I'm doing 6 coz can't remember which it is).
Contraction breath - breath in sharply up and up to top of contraction then release
Pushing - deep breath in then big 'out' breath

All of this is combined with body postures that help with birth - rotating hips, etc.

It works as long as you can still move but I can't move anymore because it's too sore

LaLaLaaaa · 26/07/2015 22:18

Aww zyla poor lamb!

ChatEnOeuf · 26/07/2015 22:29

Putting cream on for a week Wil, shrank the bugger away to nothing Smile
La, I was told I wasn't sounding uncomfortable enough with both labours. Both times arrived in hospital and delivered in no time (40 mins and 15 mins). They know nothing without having a furtle regardless of what the don't touch me gang think.

RPopz · 26/07/2015 22:36

I couldn't move either La, esp with the monitor on - active birth was a no go haha! Also I did out for 6 cos I never had enough breath for 8 Wink

You sound like you're well on your way in my inexpert opinion. Has she had her fingers in there yet!?

gaggiagirl · 26/07/2015 22:36

country no, its not ok, its very leaky!!! Please refer to my latest bumpie on FB, all that baby is on my bladder all the time. I have sufficient tenas but I cant stick one to my jarmas! Booooo.

RPopz · 26/07/2015 22:37

Sorry to hear about H Zyla! Sad Hope you all get some sleep tonight with some medicine and boob in her Smile

CountryGal4 · 26/07/2015 22:39

Dear lord will I start pissing myself?

WouldRatherHaveCake · 26/07/2015 22:46

country yes, sorry!

gaggia I both a mattress protector and started wearing knickers to bed last time!

pretzelpieces · 26/07/2015 22:50

I've just caught up! Wow la you are doing amazing you champ! Sounds like it won't be long now, those midwives need to get their act together! Grin POMPOMS

CountryGal4 · 26/07/2015 22:51

Why does no one tell you any of this crap??

MrsTattoo · 26/07/2015 22:56

country I'm with you. This is starting to sound very unglamourous now. I just wanted to be worshipped by DH and have a nice 'glow' throughout. Nobody said I would piss myself and get piles Hmm

gaggiagirl · 26/07/2015 22:58

country yes, sorry, although hopefully not as frequently as me!
would I'm putting knickers on now, good tip. Jarmas off knicks on liner in!

RPopz · 26/07/2015 22:58

I can honestly say I have never pissed myself!! Shock

RPopz · 26/07/2015 22:59

Or had piles.

But I did have a nice ass fissure and nearly shit myself in Ikea so... you win some you lose some.

Nessalina · 26/07/2015 22:59

Evening all! It's all getting a bit flipping exciting! Grin
My hypnobirthing book had a paragraph to cut & paste into your birth plan saying basically that 'I may be abnormally calm and awesome during labour because I'm doing some epic breathing - this does not mean I'm not freaking dilating!'
I had it in my birth plan, but 'twas fairly superfluous considering the level of noise I was making during contractions Blush
Go go La!

deeplybaffled · 26/07/2015 23:05

la - I'm in awe that you are still posting. Hope you are nearly there!
indigo - thanks so much for the links, feel like i have got a much better idea of what to do now. Been out for most of the day so not had a chance to try it out yet, so hopefully tomorrow, although fear a* levels may take time!

LaLaLaaaa · 26/07/2015 23:09

Have had pessary taken out because I was hyper contracting - 7 in 10 mins and extremely painful!

Bad news - still only 2cm dilated. But baby is down and cervix shorter. Got doctor coming to see me in a minute.

I would quite like this to end now! Hopefully contractions will calm down now and be more useful.

Also just been told water birth unlikely because of what's happening with my contractions. Boo...
