Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 34th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 34th grads fred is here

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 51st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

FWIW I think I felt DS first move at about 15w. Between then and 20w I could count on my fingers how many times I've felt him, so definitely not every day. I also didn't feel proper kicks till 20w.

Thanks for Tea and Totally

Looking I'm 17+2 and May or may not have felt movements but there's nothing I could point to for certain. It depends on how the baby is lying, where the placenta is, your body fat etc. so i would say it is far too early to be worrying about changes in patterns. Many people don't feel any movements until well after 18 weeks. If it's your first you might even have mistaken them for something else I guess - there's a lot shifting round in there.

Huge hugs for tea and totally. It's such a really shitty horrible time. I found the MC boards a good source of advice and support, if that's where you end up. Or here, lots of us have been there.

Shell I admire your PMA. No more bleeding is definitely a good thing. I think you're right that it's best to assume the best, as assuming the worst will only stress you out and you can't change anything. Much much easier said than done though.

Indigoblue2 · 03/08/2015 21:26

looking I was the same, I started getting movements about the 16 week mark but I really couldn't call them regular till much later. I remember going several days between movements sometimes. It's disconcerting as you think if you can physically feel them now, why does it stop unless the baby has stopped moving? But I think as others have said, it's still pretty roomy in there at this stage. But I think if you're worried then go to the midwife/EPU just to be sure, it will make you feel better if nothing else. I do remember how worrying it is with movements when you start feeling them, then you expect to keep feeling them! I used to find going to bed and lying on my back I would feel them more. Dunno if it was because I was still and quiet then or whether the baby was genuinely moving more at night! I'm sure your wee chick is just fine in there - hugs x

Just a random q: do any of those of you with existing DCs cloth bum? Have you any experience with flips organics? I've consulted the nappy lady on what she recommends via her online form and this was the recommendation that came back. They look a bit complicated to me!

If no experience here I might try FB as I think some of the grad grads are dedicated clothbummers.

pretzelpieces · 03/08/2015 21:35

Oh tea I'm really sorry. Let us know how you get on. Thanks Thanks

ThursdayLast · 03/08/2015 21:37

niff I cloth bum. Recently just started using flips for nights, seriously wish I'd found them sooner! Not sure about using them.daily though. I love freestyles and pop ins.

tea GX all is ok

honeysucklejasmine · 03/08/2015 22:13

Jelly I need to join you in the "pissed themselves whilst vomming" corner. Budge up.

mountaingirl01 · 03/08/2015 22:13

looking even by week 28 I still had days when I had to purposefully feel for movement, and she definitely has 'rest days' when she just isn't so active especially if she's just had 'busy' days! I know it's really scary but I think you really need to put it out of your mind for a few weeks and enjoy the movement when it happens. At the moment the midwice/antenatal ward probably wouldn't have you come in as it really is early days.

tea and totally lots of love you tonight

oneyorkshirepud · 03/08/2015 22:14

Oh no Tea, I'm so sorry for your worry. I hope you are being well looked after. Flowers

Looking, I'm glad you are seeing your GP, I'm sure they will take you seriously (it is a serious thing) but if not be prepared to be a bit pushy - maybe write some things down that you want to get across before you go in? With ref to movements I definitely feel more some days than others, sometimes close to the surface, sometimes inside (these ones feel weaker).

I went to be measured for a bra today (very bad that I waited until 20 weeks) and the bra lady was great, she ended up getting me a post - surgery bra. I think they are actually designed for after mastectomys, but she said they are brill for pregnancy. Not the most attractive of bras but really, really supportive, comfy and give a good shape - not underwired. Highly recommend, I think they go up to a 40DD at M&S.

pretzelpieces · 03/08/2015 23:17

We need a new fred very soon!

gaggiagirl · 03/08/2015 23:38

Is anyone near a pc? I dont have one sorry! pretzel can you do it again?
tea I'm so sorry. Let us know how you get on lots of us have been there before.
looking I was an early feeler of movement but I didn't feel any regular wriggles til over 20 weeks. Try to just enjoy the ones you do feel.

pretzelpieces · 04/08/2015 00:01

I can do it, can you give me a title? I'm feeling a bit sombre and uninspired tbh.

SecondCupOfTea · 04/08/2015 00:17

Had bloods taken and urine test and they've booked me into the gynae ED for a scan tomorrow morning. The bleeding stopped not long after it started, but it wasn't just a few spots. To be honest I'm not sure what to think. Have been told to go back to a&e tonight if bleeding starts again and gets heavy.

pretzelpieces · 04/08/2015 00:22

NEW FRED

Massive unmumsnetty hugs tea

honeysucklejasmine · 04/08/2015 06:51

Tea I really hope its all OK. Gx for you.

Had a horrible headache last night. Put so much 4head on it made my eyes water, but it worked! Yay!

Have a doctors appointment this morning (8.40!) To tall about blood test results. Hopefully will walk out with some iron based prescription.

I need to get back to taking the full on pregnacare type pill. I have been taking just folic acid for a few weeks as the larger pills kept making me heave. Will try again this morning.

CarrotPuff · 04/08/2015 07:09

Yesterday I had a bit of a panic that my symptoms were disappearing. I haven't felt as tired even. This morning I'm feeling so bleurgh I'm wondering if cooking breakfast is a good idea Confused oh well!

honeysucklejasmine · 04/08/2015 07:28

Gosh, it really is glamarous, this lark, isn't it?

I told DH I blamed him. He said I should blame baby instead and give it issues in later life. Hmm

CarrotPuff · 04/08/2015 07:41

Thinking of you Tea Flowers

honey not sure I've mentioned this before, but Pregnacare made me constipated. It could be of course just a different pregnancy, but I'm only taking frolic & vit D this time and don't have this problem so far, touch wood. But then I've read other pregnancy multivits don't give you that effect, so maybe I'll just try a different brand once I run out of frolic.

CarrotPuff · 04/08/2015 07:42

Oh and I finally made lemon drizzle yesterday. Yum! Got a bit OTT on lemons but still, yum!

CarrotPuff · 04/08/2015 07:42
