Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 34th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 33rd grads fred is here.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 51st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Wow. It has literally taken me 3 hours to get up to date!

Firstly, sorry la the above comment was completely insensitive Flowers you sound thoroughly miserabls pet

Congratulations dulcet and fleur!

chat so glad to hear the outcome of your appointment. I hope it makes it easier knowing there was nothing you could have picked up on or foreseen Flowers get shagging girl!

On the ovulation day boy/girl thing, can't help I'm afraid, we DTD every day for a week over ovulation so don't know which day/spermy was the one that made our girlie (lucky her though with all these boys around!)

Pisghetti · 19/07/2015 14:47

We've got this one Bat because it lasts until age 3 whereas most bouncers are only good until they can sit unaided (about 6 months). It also has a kickstand that allows it to lie flat so if she drops off I can recline her without disturbing her (young babies should not sleep in a position that allows their chin to touch their chest as it can restrict their breathing). It does vibrate but she's not too keen on that! Loves the dangly monkeys though Smile

CountryGal4 · 19/07/2015 14:50

sky. Bloody hell you snuck in woman! Congrats!!!

CarrotPuff · 19/07/2015 14:53

Nausea is fucking horrible. I too had salted crackers with sparkling water for breakfast. The only consolation is that the fact I feel more crap probably means the bean is growing...

Bat we had a bouncer, so can't comment anything on swings. However, I think in a swing the baby lies flatish? I'd say you want something where they are a bit upright so that they can watch you while you potter about, so I would vote bouncer.

batfish · 19/07/2015 15:02

Thanks for the bouncer tips! Yours looks good pis especially if can use for quite a long time

LaLaLaaaa · 19/07/2015 15:19

MS - soda water was my best friend! Totally helped. That and salt and vinegar walkers crisps.

Just back from posh lunch - had it out in garden until we were besieged by wasps. Evil fuckers. I had pea soup, trout with samphire then brownie and salt caramel sundae. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Mountain - did you have a good holiday? Where did you go?

And you JC did you have a good holiday?

One of my best mates who is due 10 days after me just texted to say she's lost her plug and baby's on way. I am just going to laugh now! I am hoping this all means I'm going to have the most chilled out baby on the planet Grin

Totally - you're welcome! If anyone else wants to see this phenomenon just google penises in shoes! Or perhaps not if you're on a work computer...

Jelly my Dh sleeps to 11 most days! I used to get annoyed but now I just let it go over my head and accept he's just laid back!

Bouncers! I have a fisher price one that I bought from a Facebook baby sale group for £10. I checked the reviews before I bought it and emailed FP for an instruction manual to make sure we use it safely. They are meant to be good but baby normally too small for them when newborn and you can only use until they can sit up for themselves as then it's dangerous. I also have a swing chair I bought for £30 from same group. These groups are fab for 2nd hand stuff. I got a mamas and papas Rialto cotbed for £40 too - £275 in shops

LaLaLaaaa · 19/07/2015 15:22

this is the bouncer chair I got for a tenner

CarrotPuff · 19/07/2015 15:42

Pis that one looks really good. La ours is v similar to yours, just a different theme.

I'm very Envy of all your lie ins, DS got me up at 6 this morning!

They found our pram. Apparently they didn't put it on the plane, idiots Angry hopefully we'll get it tomorrow.

Purpleball · 19/07/2015 15:58

We've got a baby gym in the FP rainforest range
Also a M&P bouncer
And a swinging chair
Also been offered a bumbo this week
The highchair we were given reclines so is suitable from when they can hold their head up. I'll probably use that in the kitchen if I'm cooking to keep him entertained

Just made a start on hospital bag and its full already.

Have got 3 vests and babygros in newborn, same in 0-3 months, a pack of newborn nappies, some cotton wool, water wipes, a hat, jacket and bootees. I've made sure DH knows which are are which size clothes and kept them separately

Then for me I have a phone charger, 2 nighties, lots of old pants, toiletries, a few breast pads, 2 packs of maternity towels and an old bath towel that I don't care about.

I'll do clothes for me nearer the time. Also need to revisit those lists and see what I've forgotten. I don't have anything for labour in there. I'm not likely to need as he's still breech, so even if I went into labour now, it would still be a section.

Anyone know how to measure for nursing bras? I know you don't do it til 36 weeks but I can't get my back size in the shops so I'll have to buy online

LaLaLaaaa · 19/07/2015 18:06

Carrot that's annoying! I take it they'll deliver it to your house?

Purple can you go get measured then order online?

Thought you all might find this interesting - ahead of my acupuncture session tomorrow the lady said to read this and do the acupressure SP-6, meant to help with cervix dilation. Just been doing it - no idea if my cervix is dilating but it definitely helps to relax you!

Don't try it any of you though - it's only if you want to induce labour

ThursdayLast · 19/07/2015 18:22

i bought them earlier than 36 weeks purple so just get what fits now. I thought my back measurement would change but it didn't. Ordinary bras were so freaking uncomfortable I was happy to slip into something revolting but wire free Grin

I did need some a size larger than those ones for immediately after the birth - when your milk comes in, boy do you know about it, but after that week or so you'll probably be back to the same as you in late-ish pregnancy. That's my experience anyway.

I felt so ropey this morning, but I enjoyed a fun and messy and friend filled afternoon! Tired now though, and my back is aching rather.

Do any of you have any experience of Pilates in pregnancy? I'd like to ask my instructor, but it feels too early yet.

Jcandy · 19/07/2015 18:53

La that sounds delicious!

Yes thank you I had a lovely holiday, just wasn't long enough! The weather was pretty rubbish too but still got to relax which was the main thing.

No idea about bouncers, I haven't got that far in my planning! Still on prams and nursery furniture indecision currently.

Tried new bras on in Asda today (as per ga's recommendation) but they didn't fit me Sad my back size compared to cup size is not really cheap shop friendly anymore

pretzelpieces · 19/07/2015 19:14

Thursday I'd really recommend telling your instructor. I felt daft telling my pottery tutor early on but there are certain glazes and suchlike I can't use. At least I know if I faint in class or something they'll have all the facts.

gaggiagirl · 19/07/2015 19:34

jc that's true, if you have a small band measurement and epic norks you're fucked in cheap shops. Try Amazon. I just type my size into the search bar and pick the cheapest!

RPopz · 19/07/2015 19:35

Heard good things about acupuncture La! GX

ThursdayLast · 19/07/2015 19:49

Yeah I think I will - she's not running the regular classes through the summer anyway, just occasional workshops. Maybe I'll not do any of them and email her before I sign back up to classes in Seltember. I just love it so much - really helps me be and feel so much stronger.

honeysucklejasmine · 19/07/2015 19:53

We had curry tonight. Stuffed myself on poppadoms and could only eat half my curry. I'm sure I will get a second wind later. Wink

MollyBloomYes · 19/07/2015 19:56

Bouncers, we had the fp woodland friends one with a dangly owl that ds looked at with more love than for me Grin. We also ended up getting the fp newborn to toddler rocker as we found it folded flat so was useful for taking to other houses. Excellent things, really useful to put them in and get shit done while they watch you but ds became totally reliant on it bouncing and vibrating for naps which was an annoying habit to break! We'll use it again but be more careful with sleep associations!

Welcome sky and congratulations!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 19/07/2015 20:08

Thank you. Have really been milking it with DP this weekend eating nice things and going engagement ring window shopping. It feels very romantic to have such a fabulous secret... Except for you viroids of course!

Indigoblue2 · 19/07/2015 20:31

Just popping in with a cheeky 8.6cm viroids. Back. Of. The. Net.
