I am an end of June baby, so almost!

Good luck everyone!

smallgreenbanana · 10/07/2015 10:08

Yey sparkly! And what a cutie - many congratulations!

Sounds a bit promising lala fx

broody well there's not much I can do about it now and I'm trying to think fluffy oxytocin thoughts Wink. But yes, I am quite annoyed. I will start taking the 2 tablets on the basis that I will need the iron for me, rather than their rules. The tablets contain the most enormous amount of iron and I would be gobsmacked if they have no effect! That would surely mean that the iron would be barely absorbed, in which case, why do they not prescribe something that can be absorbed better if it's that important!? It makes no sense to me at all.

DF dropped something into the conversation yesterday which suggests he might not approve of our name choice (not that I told him the name, but it was a general remark about the sort of names that are appropriate). Angry It hurts as I still like to have parental approval on things, even though I should really hold my head up and think it's my adult choice now and I can do what I think is best for my child. Trying to forget about that too!!! Hmm

smallgreenbanana · 10/07/2015 10:24

Sorry for the moans, folks, when there is so much happy news to report!

Thepurplegiraffe · 10/07/2015 13:47

Hi all, another July baby here but my birthday isn't until the end of July so there was no chance of a clash.

I am pleased to report that Jessica Anna Rennie arrived by elcs on Wednesday morning weighing 8lb 3 which would explain why I was so uncomfortable with my small bump.

She has quite a pair of lungs on her and hasn't stopped feeding since she arrived which is painful but good news as it should bring my milk in more quickly. I managed to get home last night after 1 night which was a massive relief.

Hope everyone is doing ok and welcome to all the new babies!

Fleurchamp · 10/07/2015 14:01

MrsFbabyNo1 · 10/07/2015 14:03

Congrats on returning home with your little bubba Captain.

Well done JoY, you did it!!! Brilliant news, was fab to have your updates along the way. And happy birthday.

And to you Sparkly, lovely pic and another cutie named Sebastian.

Ooh nature hope they get things sorted for you, especially as you've had a tough few days before a potential induction to kick start labouring.

Congratulations to all those with new arrivals , and their gorgeous names! We still haven't decided on names , flapping bit now ! Due on Sunday and being induced that day too , due to being 40 ...oh the joy..

I have just seen some photos of myself taken yesterday and am shocked at how big I am , I hope it's just the angle and the dress I had on because it looks like I am going to ge having a 12 pounder otherwise.

Hope everyone else is well, and smiling, we are all nearly there...Grin

Number3cometome · 10/07/2015 15:51

Another arrival! Baby Theo by Csection this morning (38+5) weighing 7lb 11oz.
Feeding well, lots of hair and can't stop staring at him!! Smile

Fleurchamp · 10/07/2015 15:55

No way!

Congrats tilly and number Grin

broodylicious · 10/07/2015 15:58

small, I have had to start taking my iron with orange juice like the mw originally told me to - it gives me bad indigestion and nausea until I can eat after an hour but like you say, it's for my own recovery purposes so I want to try the best I can. Quite enjoying the steak eating bit of the plan though Wink

Enjoy your newborn snuggles xx

MuddyWellyNelly · 10/07/2015 16:28

So many arrivals! I am going to be the only one left by the end of July. Glue, I'm also 40 but probably going to refuse induction if LO hasn't made an appearance by then. Hope yours goes well.

I'm actually an August baby, but as I'm not due until 28th July I'm another who could go very close to my own birthday. How odd that so many of us are due around birthdays.

One more week at work. Looking forward to finishing but glad it has kept me busy. Was in for my weekly scan and monitoring this morning, all well although so far I'd say LO is having a quieter day. I know all was well though so don't think it's anything other than the crazy busy day I had. It's usually around this time the party really gets started though so lets see.

Oh I had (TMI) slightly dodgy bowels yesterday but they don't appear to have been a precursor to anything labour related as yet. I'm actually hoping to get quite close to due date as I want my week off before the new arrival :)

MuddyWellyNelly · 10/07/2015 16:30

Oh whoops I didn't actually say congratulations for the new babies Blush. So CONGRATULATIONS Flowers Grin

Naturegirl82 · 10/07/2015 16:56

Argh my last set of bloods have come back and are obviously worse as they are monitoring baby for 30 mins and then I'm being induced! Shock

ohlordyplordy · 10/07/2015 17:17

Congratulations Tilly x

Aretepetite · 10/07/2015 17:19

I know it wasn't your plan Nature but soon you'll be holding your precious bundle :) good luck Flowers woohoo :)

HollyC255552 · 10/07/2015 17:32

Being induced on Tuesday at 39+2 & this being my first...sooo nervous but very excited. Eeeeek! Congrats to all you lovely ladies who've had your beautiful LO's.

Naturegirl82 · 10/07/2015 18:25

Arete I'm happy to go with the flow Smile They seem to think they can skip the pessary so that's a positive Smile

Thepurplegiraffe · 10/07/2015 18:33

Congratulations Tilly, lovely name (the same as my dd1)!

And congrats again to Number, what a busy day!

I think I missed Joy's and Sparkly's news as well so congratulations to both of you. It won't be long before all our babies are here!
