Congrats to mustbe well done for hanging in there - love the name you chose....congrats to twister too.

Good luck to Joy, purple number tilly...hopefully you'll all be holding your little bundles by the weekend!

I've had a lovely day at aquanatal class and sleeping this afternoon. Somehow I need to get into town to take some things back, get some last minute bits but feeling like too much of a mission and keep putting it off! Only managing to achieve 1 or 2 things a day at the moment.

I have started loosing my mucus plug, found two large chunks when showing two days ago, although it was not bloody so I am guessing it is just the start. No pains or contractions yet. 39+2 today and next MW appt on Monday. Haven't had any discussion about sweeps/ induction yet.

*showering two days ago

smallgreenbanana · 08/07/2015 21:23

Well my DD is nearly over so I guess no baby for me today! No real surprise there. I made an effort to try some 'techniques' Blush to get things started earlier but that just resulted in a few painful BH in the supermarket such that I could not walk lol Hmm Never mind!!

smallgreenbanana · 08/07/2015 21:27

Good luck sparkly Smile

Clstow · 08/07/2015 22:06

Haha broody I was thinking about the poo thing today, that I'll be embarrassed for OH to see it but guess it's all just part of the glamours of having a baby Wink

These babies are coming thick and fast now - good luck sparkly. I feel like I've still got aaages to go (37+4), and definitely getting newborn cuddles envy!

JoY007 · 09/07/2015 01:32

Finally on delivery ward. Got here about 11, 4cm dilated and with more painful contractions. Epidural in, pain gone, only pressure. So the waiting commences Smile

LaLaLaaaa · 09/07/2015 04:15

Good luck joy!

Number3cometome · 09/07/2015 06:16

Good luck Joy!

SparklyPenguin · 09/07/2015 06:26

Keep going JoY!
I've had my induction pessary inserted, and now removed 5hrs later, painful contractions, no sleep. The gas & air I can highly recommend though! Not the birthing experience I was hoping for but I'm in good medical hands now.

Raines100 · 09/07/2015 06:26

Good luck Joy and to the ladies having c sections/being induced today. Hope everything goes smoothly x

broodylicious · 09/07/2015 07:22

When I pooed last time, clstow, dh didn't see it because he was firmly rooted to the upper side of me - he'd no intention of looking at the business end, thankfully! Lol.

Won't be long now joy and sparkly. We are due another lo on here soon! Sending dilating and pushing vibes xx

Come on ladies! You can do it :) lots of birthing vibes being sent your way! Sebastian and I came home yesterday, had a good nights sleep and he's settling into our little family really well, the kids are absolutely in love, as are me and dh, midwife this morning then hopefully a nice little stroll in the sunshine later. Ds1 is introducing his new brother to marvel films by watching Captain America 'with Seb' this morning :)

Tilly73 · 09/07/2015 08:32

Nothing much with me sparkly
Had my pessary at 3am, very little sleep..and nothing HmmHmm
She's just too comfy!!SmileSmile

olympicsrock · 09/07/2015 09:19

Cone on Joy Sparkly and Tilly... Let's have 3 lovely babies today. I am quite happy waiting another 2 weeks enjoying the sunshine freedom and Wimbledon.
Is anyone else really really emotional? When I see friends and say goodbye I get this overwhelming sense of what if I never see them again in case something happens to me. I know it's irrational and I will be fine. Just a niggling doubt because things were so difficult last time.

Aretepetite · 09/07/2015 10:27

Rooting for you ladies in the process of labour xx
+9 here, induction on Sunday if no arrival before.

Aretepetite · 09/07/2015 10:28

Love & congratulations Miss

charlieis30 · 09/07/2015 11:03

Morning ladies! 38w appt today, all went well, baby 1/5 engaged... no signs that she will come early, oh well!

Good luck to those ladies whose labours are underway!

captaincloud · 09/07/2015 11:14

Hello everyone, hope you are all doing well.

Just popping in between feeds to report that baby Eleanor Elizabeth was born 8lb 10oz on 4th July after rather fast and rough labour and birth but we are home now and getting along ok. She is wonderful Grin can't update spreadsheet on the phone but will try to get to computer at some point to do it!

Hello to all the other new arrivals and best of luck for smooth beginnings for all the July babies still on their way xx

Charliej86 · 09/07/2015 11:26

Feeling very uncomfortable 'down there' today. Had a heavy feeling earlier so jumped on the ball for a while. Now he feels like his head is pushing on front of pelvis.

broodylicious · 09/07/2015 12:44

olympics, oh yes, I'm totally emotional! I caught up with last night's coronation street this morning - oh my, I cried and blubbed!!!
