Avoiding accidental golden showers and unsolicited bump touching while enjoying the gamble of the poo-lottery and apparently getting more massive by the day - JSer grads 31!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 31st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 49th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: Stats

41+1. No baby.
DH had a lay in this morning and DCs have made him a card, but othrewise we dont do anything (he doesn't belive in mother/fathers day)
DCs hare building a den in the living room, with their quilts and odd pillows. They are having fun, but my theres a mess.
Hands and feet are deffinetly swollen, I think my face has started to puff. Mam thinks I should call assesment unit and get sorted.

Lookingforadvice123 · 21/06/2015 11:26

cym Flowers you poor thing. I know it's no consolation and this being my first pregnancy I've no idea how uncomfortable you are, but just think as each day passes you're closer to mini cym being born! They will only let you go up to 42 weeks is that right? Maximum 6 days to go, but I'm sure he/she will come before then.

Those of you who had the downs screening at 12 weeks, does the sonographer also look at the nasal bone as well as the nuchal translucency measurement? I don't want to ask if it's not something they look for, but would like to know whether all looks ok on the day if they do look at it!

goodnessgraciousgouda · 21/06/2015 11:49

looking - it may well vary from sonographer to sonographer, so it would be worth asking them whether they analyse it, before you get onto the chair thing to be scanned. If you do it when they have already started you probably won't get the best answer as they will be too distracted (at least that's what I found).

WouldRatherHaveCake · 21/06/2015 12:39

Thanks gouda, I feel a bit "MN lost" lol. Feel too pregnant to keep talking about it on the JS but not pregnant enough to talk on here as it's not real yet. Joined the February page but because EDD is like 28th/29th I feel loads behind them too!

batfish · 21/06/2015 12:42

Know exactly what you mean cake, we've all been there - feels like you're pretending to be pregnant at first!! But you're not so you can join in [smil

Did you tell your DH?

Indigoblue2 · 21/06/2015 13:56

looking the decision about whether or not to be induced lies with the mother, even at 42 weeks and beyond. They obviously can advise you either way but it's absolutely up to the mother whether or not she gets induced or waits Smile

cym it can't be long, surely? You're nearly there!

WouldRatherHaveCake · 21/06/2015 14:57

Thanks bat! Appreciate the boost! Yeah I told him this morning in the form of a disgusting fathers day card saying "I can't wait to meet you". Poor pickle was really confused at first!

Niffertiti · 21/06/2015 16:26

Found you! I'm on my holidays viroids so am going to try and get a proper break this week and not stress about the baby, the move, or anything else. Hmmm, let's see how that goes. Thanks for all the advice on my packing lists last week - I will enter your suggestions into my new spreadsheet! I am not brave about this move, I am frickin terrified!!!

So I'm going to take a leave of absence for a week and deprive myself of Internet enabled devices with which to fuel my anxiety...

Hope mat leavers enjoy your first week off!

Cym, you'll have a baby by the time I'm back! Hoorah!

Gx for scans this week looking and Gouda - mine's a week Monday. Eek!
