Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 31st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 49th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: Stats

Yes la, we need to pack our bags - this is essential! I still set my alarm this morning to make sure DH was up and ready etc but now a bit lost. I am meeting my friends for lunch but that's my only solid plan. Have a list of things to do though so guess I will work through some of that...? It's so weird!

I was going to go swimming this week too fleur but then became irrationally concerned my waters would break in the pool!

It is important that you are looking for what is normal for you toast but it can be scary when you are figuring it out. You become very conscious of it but once DH asked when ours moved and we discussed it I realised there was a rough pattern.

Congrats honey - hopefully all gets easier from here!

Doesn't sound like a good Monday for you jelly. Any chance of a sick day?

My only plan today is to pack my bloody bag!!!!

And to start the mountain of baby clothes washing.

Fleurchamp · 22/06/2015 08:52

My bag is half packed (DH panicked after nct meetings) and I have bought the rest just need to wash and pack it.

Have already been swimming as DH had me awake at 6am as he couldn't find his work shoes Hmm I have never thought about waters going whilst in the pool dulcet but I will now Shock
I love swimming! Feels so relaxing.

I have a ton of phone calls to make which I will plough through soon and a load of my dad's paperwork to go through (this was given to me yesterday), just bills and pension things that he can't be bothered to read doesn't understand. I am a mug.

This baby feels well settled for now anyway. I had some pressure downstairs over the weekend but it has gone now. I think I will be here until the bitter end.

rm00054 · 22/06/2015 08:56

I'm trying not to get too excited, mw seemed to think baby wasn't ready for a while yet Sad won't get my hopes up like that's possible Both me and DH were born on our due dates so maybe...

I might join you viroids in the bag packing today! I've not really got any other plans for today.

DulcetMoans · 22/06/2015 09:06

Haha. Fred will just be filled by us newly mat leaved viroids not knowing what to do with ourselves!

Ok, when rm and la have packed the bag then tell us what's in it! I need to consult a list. I have two packs of haribo ready to go in so that's half way done, right?

The pool thing is irrational I think fleur as it could happen wherever. I will hopefully go tomorrow.

Now let's see if I can get a hair cut today!

Great news honey Smile it's amazing to get past that milestone isn't it. I relaxed a lot more at that point.

cake I'd go with morning sickness. Mine started almost straight away. Hope its not too bad for you.

Oh jelly doesn't sound like you've had a good morning so far, how are you feeling now?

Enjoy your first days of on mat leave la dulcet and fleur Grin

pretzelpieces · 22/06/2015 09:18

cake my morning sickness started straight away, which meant it began a week before I knew that I was pregnant Hmm I told myself I was imagining it because I wanted to be pregnant so badly!

honeysucklejasmine · 22/06/2015 09:56

Went to aquarobics this morning but pool is closed due to "cloudy water". I'm looking at you, Dulcet. Hmm

Going to IKEA today with my Daddy. I need his car so offered to but him meatballs in return for coming with me.

RhiannonElward · 22/06/2015 10:11

Another rare post from me, should be back in the swing of things now, my Nan's funeral was on Friday so that is done and was beautiful and perfectly suited to who she was. I'm not distracted any more so can keep up with you all a little better.

Congratulations to all who had delicious babies this week and good luck for today cym! So many babies, I can't believe how quickly I'm moving up the list. Scary and exciting stuff.

24 weeks today. Nothing to report, arse holding up well. I haven't been taking any supplements and it's doing my digestive system the world of good. I am pooing like a normal person, it's such a refreshing change! Am I mean to consider staying off them? My piles have gone and it's lovely.

Fleurchamp · 22/06/2015 10:33

rhiannon I stopped taking pregnacare as it didn't agree with me. I just try to make sure I eat healthily. The mw only suggested taking vit. D anyway.

I am glad your nan's funeral went well Flowers

LaLaLaaaa · 22/06/2015 10:37

Greetings from our brand new shiny John Lewis cafe where I'm drinking my free coffee and eating a croissant. I could get used to this! Going to go do damage to my credit card in the nursery section in a minute.

Rhi I'm glad the funeral went as well as it could and you feel it was a fitting tribute to her. Sending you a hug I know it's not easy.

Dulcet i have a major phobia of public swimming pools - all that spit and bodily fluids. You've just added another one to my list!

Dh got bag down from loft so bag is in bedroom. Nothing in it yet and I felt that was enough for now so I've taken a break Grin

batfish · 22/06/2015 11:50

Ooh exciting re the bag packing! Mr bat is so practical he will probably have me packing ours any day now (15 weeks to go) - last week he insisted on us buying the contents of a changing bag so that we can see how big it needs to be and have a think about what type of compartments would be useful!

Thanks for the baby movement info, I spoke to a friend here and she said that we should go to A&E if worried and they will send us where we need to be - I will double check with my doc on Saturday though. Baby bat seems to be OK today, have had quite a few kicks so hopefully was just having a lazy night yesterday. Hoping I get lots of movement this evening as Mr bat v worried!

In arse news - TMI but I went for a number 2 this morning and there was blood - I had a small heart attack given the lack of baby movement before ascertaining which hole it had come from! Anyway definitely not from the baby hole, phewww. But it made me worry I'm getting a touch of the Jeremy Kyles! Bloody hope not, don't see how I would as I've not been having poo problems. It was bright red blood though so maybe I just accidentally swallowed a razor blade (like you do) that caused a bit of damage on the way out. Jesus the things I end up telling people on the Internet Shock

goodnessgraciousgouda · 22/06/2015 11:52

La - free coffee?? what wizardry is this??? Are you there for furniture or general baby stuff?

Since leaving the UK I have come to appreciate department stores SO much more. And boots - oh my god - it's pretty much always my very first port of call whenever I am back home!

Niff - enjoy your holiday! Relax! Have some virgin cocktails! Lounge around!!

Rhiannon - I'm glad that the funeral went as well as can be expected with these things.

Fleur - wow, that's pretty impressive swimming commitment!

I've seen a few people saying they are enjoying OITNB - Have to say I never warmed to it. It just irritated me for some reason Blush.

I'm really hoping that the scan on friday shows that the SCH has completely disappeared and all is really well. I'd really like to be able to start doing gentle exercise again, and the no sex rule is beginning to be irritating as well.

By the end of the week I will have gained two kg in the first trimester, which is at the very top end of recommendations - but I'm telling myself that two weeks of (not strict) bed rest probably hasn't helped.

jellypi3 · 22/06/2015 11:57

bat could it have been a fissure or tear? I used to get them and have red blood when wiping.

I gave up and came home. Felt so shit in work, so told my boss I had a dodgy BBQ and asked to leave. Going to sleep when I get home I think. The worst thing about working so far from home is when you feel rough and just want bed there's still an epic train journey to go!

la I love John Lewis, there was a lovely huge one in Leicester where I went to uni.

WilHarlot · 22/06/2015 12:00

Bat I had bloody great big Jeremys with no poo problems. Another pregnancy joy I'm afraid.

LaLaLaaaa · 22/06/2015 12:35

Bat I tear regularly (side effect of constipation) and get bleeding so could be that if not the Jeremy's

NFMA - just did the largest fart in history. Cat looked at me with disgust, got up and stalked off.

It's a JL at home - plus giant waitrose. They have nursery stuff but no clothes. Bought a jellycat dog for my niece and it was so gorgeous I bought one for MiniLa too! Also got two massive cushions. Going to see ribbon on and use them on my rocking chair. Custom cushion lady in another shop quoted me £200 to make a cushion for the chair. Just tried out the two cushions and they are mega comfy

Am now unloading the cot bed of stuff we've been piling in there for months and unwrapping everything to start putting away/wash. Famous cat is helping knocking everything onto floor

LaLaLaaaa · 22/06/2015 12:35

*sew not see ribbon

batfish · 22/06/2015 12:45

Eeeeek hopefully just some random bleeding and not the Jeremys!!

Aww jelly hope you feel better soon!

LaLaLaaaa · 22/06/2015 12:53

This child has more clothes than me and dh! Think we might have gone overboard...

Question for those with babies. When dressing baby I'm confused about vests, bodysuits and sleepsuits. Do vests go under both bodysuit and sleepsuits?

batfish · 22/06/2015 13:04

Haha la that is one good thing about not knowing the sex - the clothes choice is pretty dull so I'm actually not dying to go out and buy loads of stuff! Just planning to get a few bits and then see what we are given as gifts and then we will go on a spree for some cool boy/girl stuff after baby arrives.

DulcetMoans · 22/06/2015 13:10

Welcome back rhi. Glad the funeral went well and you are coping, not an easy time for you. Not sure about tablets - when do we have to keep taking folic acid too? Mine is just in my multivitamin!

Oh no, not a bloody bum bat! Did it hurt or just the blood? Could be a tear, hopefully rather than those pesky piles. Oh, and if DH will help you get organised with the bag then let him! It's so easy to put off until you are in panic mode otherwise.

Hope you are holding your baby now cym!

Don't worry too much about the weight gouda. Just do what you can and it will probably even out anyway. Midwife weighed me Friday and that was only 3rd time she has done it. I had gained 3kg in past 10 weeks so must of the gain was at the beginning. It all works out.

I have achieved a haircut and a trip to sainsburys to get things for bag that I WILL pack tonight! Off for lunch first though for a 'baby sprinkle' as per fleur idea recently.

Pisghetti · 22/06/2015 13:38

Hello Rhi glad it all went ok Thanks

Hope things are happening for Cym!

La the names confuse me. What I would call a vest has long or short sleeves, no legs and poppers at the bottom. I've also seen these called bodysuits. A babygro would then be like a onesie. I also call these sleep suits. Are these what you mean? A good rule of thumb is to dress baby in one more layer than you would wear so a vest and babygro is usually fine for around the house and outside when it's warm.

LaLaLaaaa · 22/06/2015 13:59

In my head a sleepsuits has both arms and legs, a vest has no arms or legs and a bodysuit has short sleeves and t shirt type arms and possibly legs. But I'm confused

batfish · 22/06/2015 14:05

Well now I'm confused too! I would never have thought of putting a vest under a babygro!

And I've read new baby lists that say something about dressing them in things that avoid catching their belly button until it falls off - like what? I don't remember ever seeing a newborn in anything other than a babygro.

RhiannonElward · 22/06/2015 14:11

Thanks for the kind wishes everyone, I'm doing OK Smile

La vests and bodysuits are essentially the same thing, normally you'd put one under a sleepsuit or any other outfit. Congratulations on your epic fart too, it must have been very satisfying.

bat bright red arse blood is nothing to worry about because it's fresh blood so from a cut of some sort, either internal piles or a fissure probably. I'm no expert but that's what I've heard.
