Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 31st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 49th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: Stats

Ah, great that you are feeling better JC! Light at the end of the tunnel. Smile

Mountain why on earth did they cut down a hedge?! Meanies. Sad

Purpleball · 20/06/2015 19:31

Here you all are Smile

London is doable for me with notice as I could get cheaper train tickets in advance. Are we talking with babies or leaving them at home? It's only a couple of hours away

JC I'm so glad you're feeling better lovie. Lots of us have struggled mentally with being pregnant. I think people underestimate the effect that finally getting what you've wanted for a long time can have. Not to mention the huge thing that is having a baby!

I've had an ESPA pre-natal massage and facial. It was a-mazing! I wish I could afford one every week. I might be tempted to have another before babypurple arrives

Hobbit19 · 20/06/2015 19:58

So, Midget Cat is in the spare room to give her and Small Cat a chance to get used to each other's scent for a few days. Only issue is if we leave the spare room Midget Cat meows like a crazy thing. How can one so small make so much noise?! TBF she is 9 weeks old and has probably never been alone. DH will think I have lost it if I sleep in their tonight (considering it) and we both have to go to work on Monday. I feel soooooo mean leaving her heart of a crazy pregnant cat lady breaks into a million pieces any advice?!

honeysucklejasmine · 20/06/2015 20:07

Totes get midget cat another buddy to play with! Go on... Mrs Doyle voice

My GP did this. Bought cats in pairs, always. When one died, they'd get another pair. So always two or three, and the youngest was always with another kitten.

LaLaLaaaa · 20/06/2015 20:51

As she's so tiny I wonder if it's worth seeing what she's like with little cat? Normally if you'd had more notice I'd have suggested borrowing a dog cage/crate to put wee one in for first few nights to let them sniff each other and get acquainted. Some are fine straight away! Could you try just now confining little cat to one room like lounge with you and dp then bringing in wee one in cat carrier to see how little cat reacts?

LaLaLaaaa · 20/06/2015 20:52

And ignore honeys tempting you! ;)

LaLaLaaaa · 20/06/2015 20:53

Important bit is controlling the interaction so neither gets hurt, giving lots of praise to both when they show positive behaviour and letting them work each other out.

Toast85 · 20/06/2015 21:05

aaaaw pussycat is gorgeous! Totes jel but our feline baby would never forgive us if we got another cat. She hates other cats and I don't think I would want to risk it. She's got more than enough love for humans though.

JC so pleased you're feeling a bit better and up to going out for dinner!

Grrrr I've just woken up from a 2 hour nap. 2 HOURS! I was supposed to be doing something vaguely useful like hoovering or cleaning the bathroom but I feel wiped. Don't even have a reasonable explanation either. Obviously just more tired than I thought today. Oh well, blaming the baby.

La I'm joining you with cake for dinner- we're having chocolate brioche. Mainly because now I've had a sleep I can't be bothered to make anything, don't really feel like eating anything anyway, and it's already 9.

WilHarlot · 20/06/2015 21:17

I'd love some cake.

La you have motherhood sorted with all your animal experience. Sounds like raising kittens is much the same as children.

Jcandy · 20/06/2015 21:21

Incredible amounts of poo pud! Thankfully DP has taken over the task of cleaning up coz I was too nauseous to attempt it. I know now I'm feeling better I really should do it again but he jumps in first so what do I do! Wink

I'm so full! My 'bump' is massive! to be fair it's mostly steak pie but it was delicious Grin

Jcandy · 20/06/2015 21:22

So you had to introduce microwil to miniwil in a cage! Grin hehe

teejayem · 20/06/2015 21:26

Here you are! Careful dulce I was in labour by page 2 of last Fred!

Kitten is scrummy pud only one of mine has been a bit of a diva since tiny tee arrived, she was super protective of the bump and is horrified by what it's become. The other two literally couldn't care less. As I speak Mr tee is trying to entice her out of next doors paddling pool. She's refusing all conventional treats and will only behave for bacon, which is fine except it doesn't rattle...

Think tiny tee has been listening to my filthy chat too much, he sounds like a telephone sex pest while he's being fed. Grin

LaLaLaaaa · 20/06/2015 21:53

tee! how are you doing? Are we going to have your birth story at some point or did I miss it? I was going to ask how cats were handling it. My two are extra clingy just now.

I had pasta then pineapple and yoghurt in the end :D Made two lots of brownies for our picnic birthday party tomorrow - one Betty Crocker, other Sainsbury's. Both came out flat and tasting of nothing so they are now residing in the bin.

I am SHATTERED! WTF is wrong with me?

wil I reckon I'm sorted training wise. Clicker - check, treats - check... This parenthood thing will be a doddle compared to my two cats.

Pee smell still hasn't gone away, I think one of them must have peed on the newly cleaned carpet in lounge (dh hired carpet cleaner on Tues - oh dear). Think it's stress, oh dear - it's only going to get worse!

Trying to put together a wish list on Amazon for my baby shower, but it's really hard. I have everything I need now so this just feels like being greedy.

WilHarlot · 20/06/2015 22:24

Only you could liken your new baby to a sex pest Tee Grin Grin Grin !

Be greedy La, why not. Go for teething toys and Lamaze hangy toys and crinkly books etc. Or something to support baby during tummy time which mine never gets. Or baby wetsuit/swim nappy. Alternatively just ask for a cartoon character riding a vehicle which looks mildly pornographic Wink .

Haha JC, I probably should have used a cage to protect the poor mite. Although the relationship has faded into mild indifference.

Fleurchamp · 20/06/2015 22:32

Heh @ tiny sex pest tee

I am jealous of all you cat owners. I married a man who is allergic to practically every furry animal Sad

I have been asked the same thing by my school friends la whenever one of them has a baby (this will be baby #10 out of that group) we all chip in a and buy a bigger ticket item. But we have pretty much sorted all the stuff we need for a newborn baby, I am asking for a baby carrier back pack thing for when he/ she is a bit older and all the gifts have dried up
Could you ask for slightly older items such as toys, jumperoo etc.?

Hobbit19 · 20/06/2015 23:27

We opened the door a crack and small cat got cross! We are feeding them on opposite sides of a closed door to get them used to each other and there being a 'reward' for that. Think it will take a few days but midget cat v playful so they should get on in the end.

Hobbit19 · 20/06/2015 23:30

Oops sorry, thought I had posted that ages ago!

Hi Tee! (Waves!) Grin

DulcetMoans · 20/06/2015 23:54

Well hopefully I can avoid going into labour for this thread at least chat and tee. Or at least the first 20 pages! I'm very much not ready. Let's get cym and rm sorted first!

Kitten is beautiful pud. It might take time but sure they will be friends, or tolerate each other at least!

I'll play snap with you if you like la. Less movement - snap, can't eat/not hungry - snap, knackered - snap. Guessing it's normal about now. I'm adding in breathing trouble though, that's getting worse. Anyway, must be normal?

You've inspired me to look into massages now purple! Something to look forward to!

Sorry to hear about the feels there mountain. Sounds like a shorty situation anyway, without the emotions. How quick can you get a fence sorted?

LaLaLaaaa · 21/06/2015 03:05

Hi 3am! We are well acquainted and not because I'm staggering out of a club trying to find chips n cheese

Ug

WilHarlot · 21/06/2015 04:58

Still lots of movement though Dulcet? Remember to phone up if there's a significant change in pattern x

honeysucklejasmine · 21/06/2015 05:00

Morning. Why is it so unreasonably hot all the time?! Argh!

Toast85 · 21/06/2015 05:33

Ugh... Sleep last night: sofa nap 6.30-8.30, proper bed sleep 11.45-12.45, random interlude for minuscule wee, then sleep 12.55-4.45. Awake since then. Gaaaaaaaah. I just want a proper 8 hours uninterrupted, I know it won't happen for years after baby arrives, I just wasn't expecting to have to give it up at the first whiff of a successful sperm journey. Ffs.

DulcetMoans · 21/06/2015 06:44

Yeah, I think so wil. Had midwife on Friday and mentioned it to her. It is moving but just changed a bit. It was whole bump shuffling a couple times a day and now it's more wiggling about. She listened and all is fine but said to call if worried at all.

That's the scary thought toast - what if we have now already had as much sleep as we will ever get?! I thought this the other day! It's not like it will get better for a long while after the babies born!

Is anyone doing Father's Day then? Don't think anyone answered before!

OP posts:
batfish · 21/06/2015 06:55

Oh dear I'm sorry for you that aren't sleeping well, hope it changes!!

I haven't done anything for father's day, I did look in a card shop the other day to see if there were any mugs or anything silly but there was only really really tacky stuff so I didn't bother - I forgot this morning and now I'm at work so I sent hubby a happy father's day whatsapp about half an hour ago, I'd better make more effort next year haha

ZylaB · 21/06/2015 07:22

tee lol!
