Thanks ladies, think I'm just having a bad day! I still have symptoms though so that's something...

Kep that sounds like a good book, maybe I should get something positive to read the next few days to keep me sane!

mrschatty · 12/06/2015 18:33

Congrats everyone on their scans!
teenie your anxiety is understandable...positive vibes!!! I actually survived work go me

Azquilith · 12/06/2015 18:51

Hello ladies, happy Friday to all.
Had to go out for a drink with colleagues after work, didn't want to not drink given it would give the game away so had half a lager, drank an inch, managed to tip half of the rest into someone else's pint and then left the rest 'to catch my train'.

Am 10 + 3 today and feeling a little snug round the middle, would love to go another month to nail a couple of key projects but not sure I'll manage it!

Lookingforadvice123 · 12/06/2015 18:59

aloha that pun was GREAT! I lol'd.

Great news on the scans all!

teenie totally understandable after what you've been through, I hope the days go quickly for you and that you feel better after your scan xx

Blackandwhitecat3 · 12/06/2015 20:11

Poe your dreams are the best. Keep them coming, I needed that giggle Smile.

What a day! But like you, Chatty I made it, and somehow without crying, retching at work, fainting or losing my rag.

Valancy I just had to help my HoD redo the timetable allocation today, I've got more 6th form teaching than this year....eeek! But I figure as we will have several new staff, it's better to have 6 months that way round, regardless of mat leave. Feel guilty though.

Great news on your scan kep such a relief isn't it? Exciting about yours mini glad it went well.

Welcome newbies and hop on board our jolly sickship Grin.

Sending you some positive vibes too teenie, not surprised you're feeling jittery, but as you say, the odds are very much on your side, fingers crossed for you.

oyster I went off meat for a bit, but back on it now. Totally off dairy though, which is really unusual for me.

mrschatty · 12/06/2015 20:14

Oh yeah oyster meat and garlic making me

lilyb84 · 12/06/2015 21:13

Have to say I don't really feel like I survived today at all - since early afternoon I've been feeling ridiculously tired, weak and shaky. Had to have a lie down in the first aid room at work and even after food and tons of water I'm still feeling completely drained. So glad it's the weekend and really hoping I feel better tomorrow as I definitely feel like today has beaten me!

Joey0805 · 12/06/2015 21:15

Oyster - I'm off all meat, poultry and fish at the moment...

Teenie - hope you have a fun wknd planned; I'm not surprised you're so nervous but honestly statistically speaking you're waaaaay more likely to be fine than not...

I had another scan today, as expected measuring at 10+2, all looking good. Had my Harmony bloods too so hoping they're now on their way to the US!

Next scan dates for the stats are 25th (NHS 12 week) and 2nd (private, when I get Harmony results).

coffeenut · 13/06/2015 04:20

Sorry to all those who are feeling rough and having hard days. I hope that you get a chance to rest on the weekend. I think the key to feeling okay during pregnancy is sleep, if you can manage it.

Harmony bloods taken (they promised me correctly this time). Must have really worried them with my pregnant rant as they had a special guy from the lab come in to the hospital and wait for me all morning just to do my bloods Blush. On a Saturday too! They get the results within 3-5 days here but I will have to wait for my doctor to call me to actually receive them myself. Feeling worried about it all now, the results and how to deal with it if it's not good.

ValancyJane · 13/06/2015 06:42

b&w we're in the same boat with loads of new staff which is why I'm getting sixth form too. It's not ideal - but it's the best solution that we have! Plus it'll be good for you - more sitting down type teaching with sixth form. I think I'll probably need it!

By the way, ignore my ramblings about morning sickness going, I felt sick all day yesterday and threw up within half an hour of waking up today. I've never been so pleased to feel so shit before!!

mrschatty · 13/06/2015 08:50

valancy yaaay vomit!
My dream saga of my DDH not being my babydaddy continues...last night my dream was we were all sitting around watching BB (I don't even watch it) but there was this guy who was just the Big bro/geordie shore type muscles tats v good looking (I'd just like to say although I'm of that generational age-25- that type of guy is just not what I like at all!!! DH is exactly my type - nothing like those preened peackocks) anyway my dream self thought he was LUSH and..oh yeah...potentially my babydaddy...so I told DH tomorrow when we have our scan we need to stop by his house he wants to see the pic- DH happy with this...I'm googling

mrschatty · 13/06/2015 09:01

Not really helped but could mean 'I don't know who my baby is?' Hmm
Just for the record btw there is no concerns about paternity in RL! Only dream world

kep1979 · 13/06/2015 09:20

Lol chatty - pregnancy dreams are bonkers!

Joey glad the scan went well. And coffee glad they did the blood correctly too! You may be the first to find out the sex (I presume you are finding out with Harmony?).

I'm 9 weeks today, and my app told me that this week will be the worst for morning sickness - oh the joys. But it did say that things could get rapidly better after then, so clinging to that hope. My hayfever has kicked in big style but not taken anything so suffering loudly. Off to Cornwall for the weekend for a family gathering - hope it is fun as i won't have wine to get me through. It's dh's extended family so they won't think it's too suspicious i'm not drinking, apart from his grandparents so we may tell them. Not looking forward to the long drive though.

Better go, got to find something to wear - my new (2 sizes bigger) jeans arrived yesterday and they are just about manageable, as long as i don't sit down - definitely going to get some maternity stuff next week, no point in being uncomfortable.

mrschatty · 13/06/2015 09:24

coffee thank goodness you got seen again and they didn't make you wait about!!

Blackandwhitecat3 · 13/06/2015 09:32

chatty thanks for sharing more bonkers dreams Smile

[kep] I'm clinging to the idea of week 9 being the worst MS week - it's definitely been the worst so far. And local honey for hay fever, I swear by it. Have a fab time in Cornwall.

Valancy I hadn't thought about the extra sitting down, you're right! I feel a bit better now.

DH is horrified at the idea I will need to buy new clothes ("where will they go?") lol I need to get some soon though, if nothing else, clothes that are bigger round my boobs!

frozenfairy123 · 13/06/2015 09:36

Last time weeks 8,9 and 10 were the worst then slowly improves! Can't wait to feel normalish. Still not able to eat much and that means I have less energy. Xx

Lilliana · 13/06/2015 09:42

Been reading but not posting much as not much to say ... Tired ... Sick ... Tired ... Sick ...!

I've got my booking in on Monday - really hoping we get there as we had the scan telling us we mc the day before booking in last time.

Lilliana · 13/06/2015 09:47

Oops hit post too soon. DH has gone on a stag do so its just me and DD this weekend. Atm we're watching frozen but think I'm going to take her out to the big sheep with some friends today as a bit of a treat for me and her!

Hay fever is shocking - I get it so badly they give me steroid injections but obv can't have that now so suffering and trying to do so quietly!

Is anyone else waking at about 3 and not being able to get back to sleep? It's really not helping my tiredness! I'm also having weird dreams - last night me and a bloke I was married to (not dh) and a friend (also never met him) were wondering around looking for cocaine Hmm (never taken drugs) and then when we magically found some were panicking about being stopped by the police. No clue what that was all about!!

OTheHugeManatee · 13/06/2015 10:02

Woohoo! Came back today to a letter from the hospital. My scan date is 1 June. Not sure whether to be excited or nervous...bit of both I think.

Lilliana · 13/06/2015 10:07

Umm manatee haven't we already had 1st June? Or am I really out of it?! Assuming you mean July? I really hope it goes well. Try not to worry

mrschatty · 13/06/2015 10:12

lil that's so funny!! I'm loving the weird dreams! manatee hopefully 1st July! Excellent! I'm feeling very apprehensive about my scan tomorrow...FX for me!

babybabynamechange · 13/06/2015 10:20

Got my booking appointment - 26th June - and scan date - 14th July through. I'll be 13 weeks then but that's fine.

They did say when I was at the EPU after bleeding that they would scan me "in 2/3 weeks unless you get your nucal scan before that" - that scan would be 5 weeks so I will call them and see if they will book me an earlier one...

moonshine25 · 13/06/2015 10:25

Morning ladies! Your dreams have been making me laugh, they're great! I unfortunately can't remember any of mine at the moment but think I'm sleeping quite lightly! Although I did just wake up after 10 hours of (broken) sleep so I must have needed it.

Ooh congrats on the scan dates! I should be getting mine soon and just really want it now so I have it to look forward to (or worry about!)

Lookingforadvice123 · 13/06/2015 10:37

Morning all! I'm 10+5 today (10+6 going on my scan measurements) and dare I say it but I think the nausea is improving! Felt pretty icky yesterday morning all up until lunch, but after lunch felt ok whereas previously I've felt worse as the day goes on. I also had a nausea free evening yesterday for the first time since I can remember, even went out and enjoyed a lovely Chinese with my mum and sister! Today again although I can't think what I fancy to eat, so far so good I feel ok! I can definitely say that week 9-10 was the worst, 10-11 was still bad and the evening sickness was worse than ever, but fx it's starting to taper now woohoo! Can't wait to start eating healthily and exercising again and generally feeling a bit more normal!

Sorry to all those still feeling sick that wasn't a boast I promise, but I have to admit as grim as I felt the last couple of weeks, I was happier to have the nausea than not as it did reassure me, every cloud etc etc!
