MW today for bp check, not as good as i hoped but not too bad. Always nice hearing heartbeat.
Ive not weighed myself recently but belly grown a lot. Assumed this was all baby until mw said today baby was still tiny.....eeek! I don't have a huge appetite at the moment so need to be bit more careful i think :-/
Back to slimming world for me come Sept/Oct!

ovumahead · 14/05/2015 15:40

Feeling so stressed at the moment - literally every week towards the end of the week I get brown bloody discharge, old blood apparently - it's so odd! Anyone else having anything like this? Just lying here now trying to feel the baby move - if nothing I'll go down to the hospital for a check up. So worrying.

jaxtreehorn · 14/05/2015 17:43

brown blood is usually nothing to worry about but I reckon it's worth getting checked anyway for your own piece of mind. I have a friend who had this all through her pregnancy and baby and mum were totally fine X

ovumahead · 14/05/2015 17:59

Thanks jax. Just so weird that it's happening every week! Kind of getting used to it but also not...

DeladionInch · 14/05/2015 18:36

Are you on your feet a lot at work? Could be tiredness building up. But mental health is just as important as physical so if you're worried get checked

ovumahead · 14/05/2015 18:56

I'm not on my feet a lot but work in a very stressful job often with overtime and no breaks... By the end of the week I'm absolutely shattered and often the bleeding happens then. Probably linked to exhaustion isn't it?!

DeladionInch · 14/05/2015 19:29

Pp bleeding is, no reason for it not to be true now. I'd get something concrete from your mW and force work to take the pressure off you - if anything happens due to them not making allowances and having an adequate risk assessment in place, you can sue them...

Team pinky yellow! Umbilical cord was between legs so no conclusive view but sonographer reckoned was a girl, and DH and I think we saw the 3 lines/hamburger the internet tells me means vulva. Booked a private 3D gender scan for Monday to try and get a better look.

I think I've finally felt some kicks! Counted about 6 jabs over about 15 minutes..literally felt like a little leg or arm poking my tummy..hurray!!

Sundaysmumisfullofwine · 15/05/2015 05:45

We had a scan a week ago, all well and team pink! I think she looks like DS already. 21 weeks today and definitely feeling movement.
Also had preliminary agreement from consultant for elective section so that's a big weight off my mind.

Happy Friday all. I just sneezed 9 times a row - pretty impressive eh? Wink I too am finally feeling acrobat baby move - huzzah!!! - some little flumpy bumpy movements under my bellybutton Grin xxxx

Maths88 · 15/05/2015 07:14

Baby seems to have moved up massively over the past few days - can feel a big lump well above my belly button - this is normal yeah?

We are currently at Disneyland Paris having a few days just the two of us before I'm too big and tired to appreciate it. Having a great time seeing the shows and parades and gong on the kiddy rides that I'm allowed to!

Whatabout · 15/05/2015 08:53

Maths - yes totally normal. I get all sorts of bumps!

Purpleball · 15/05/2015 09:13

Anyone else have an achy bump if they've had a busy day? I'm wondering about a bump band. If I walk a lot if feels heavy and achy but stops if I sit down

Whatabout · 15/05/2015 09:18

I've got an Emma Jane one from physio yesterday, it's for pelvic pain but supports the bump when ealking and standing. I had a cantaloupe one last time I think m.johnlewis.com/mt/www.johnlewis.com/cantaloop-pregnancy-support-belt-black/p399389#page_loaded like this. That would probably help?

Whatabout · 15/05/2015 11:32

Two arms and heart looks normal!

Treaclepie19 · 15/05/2015 11:51

Yeah purple I get achey bump a lot. Mine doesn't go when I sit though.

Lovely pic whatabout :)

Anyone else crazy emotional?
I'm really upset today and can't work out why. Can't stop crying.

OP posts:
Choccyhobnob · 15/05/2015 12:53

I have been crying at facebook videos which I don't usually! Apart from that mainly just very grumpy for no reason lol. DH finally saw Spud's little evening party he has! Don't know what he was doing in there but a but popped out on the right, then on the left, then in the middle lol

ambientolf · 15/05/2015 13:07

I woke up crying this morning as I had a dream that I'd lost my dog for years & then found her (she was scared & aggressive to other dogs). I then reunited her with her sister, my other dog & they were happy. Dog1 died a couple of years ago & dog2 died a couple of months ago. I'm still welling up even writing about it - I like to thing they have met each other in doggie heaven. Sorry if I sound like a saddo! Must be prego hormones I'm not usually this emotional.

I also keep having weird dreams about not being able to breastfeed & the hospital releasing me before I try so I don't even know how & I forget to feed the baby for days. That must be my anxiety coming out!

ambientolf · 15/05/2015 13:07

P.s. All scans look great. It's fab to see everyones little babies xx

monkeymoonpig · 15/05/2015 14:36

Well baby seems to have decided to go back in/down some bloody where and now i feel very few movements. Last weekend i felt lots and Mon/Tues i was the size of a house. Just looking fat again now Sad thankfully i had mw yesterday who said heartbeat was perfect and there was a happy little baby in there, else id be stressing out :-/
DS is 3 tomorrow so that will be a happy and distracting occasion, tho i suspect he's going to love then Ben & Holly balloons more than any of the presents!

TheMidnightHour · 15/05/2015 14:38

So many lovely scan pics! Our latest was a blurry image which was apparently a foot but you really couldn't tell. Oh well - got a decent one at 12w and they don't look much different later on.

Thanks for the weight calculator info envious. I've been fretting first that I hadn't gained enough (lost in the first trimester), then that I was gaining too much. So it helps to see I'm in the normal range. Frankly though, as I'm over 6ft tall, the loss and gain are both within my 'no one notices' range so really I need to get a grip. Or start worrying about something else - today's target is SPD as something internal between crotch and bump is very sore. Think it was triggered by 4h+ of driving yesterday and sincerely hoping it fades before I leave for a family wedding abroad next week!

Has anyone had SPD before, and could tell me what it feels like? Fairly confident it's not a UTI, in the vaginal area or referred back pain (had those before).

mrsdos · 15/05/2015 15:23

Monkey its funny you say that about your bump/movements, I have had exactly the same thing.

Its not that I am not feeling the Potato move, but all movements feel as though they are against my back/insides rather than on the outside of my bump but are still regular.
I have felt like I am being stretchedoads the last few days so I guess he just has more room in there at the mo!

button2015 · 15/05/2015 16:25

Hi.

Am new to this site, wish i had known about it sooner rather than googling all my worries lol!

I was just wondering if anyone was signing up to antenatal classes outside of the NHS ones on offer? I hear there good socially...just worrying as my family dont live near and I dont have many friends with babies!

Thanks :)
