aletea I have the same edd as my ds so not the best planning but hey.

No sickness yet but felt like I had a hangover until about lunchtime today. I didn't have any last time so finger crossed.

I am really bloated and look pregnant because I'm so bloated. Got invited out on this Friday coming. Trying to think of a reason to not go as think they'll all guess if I'm not drinking.

Anyone else getting sharp cramps? I think I remember it as normal from before?

ineedsomeinspiration · 04/04/2015 22:18

Thank toadie for the Stats, I'm 33 btw.

alphabook · 04/04/2015 22:19

Well done Toadie! To add to the stats I'm 28 (looks like I'm the baby of the group so far!) and this is baby number 1.

Inspiration - I tend to be quite a lot overdue so I won't be that early. As long as I miss xmas day....

Yes quite a few sharper period pains...useful as you can blame impending period and not have to fess up.,

toadierocks · 04/04/2015 23:31

Hiya fairy and congrats on the BFP

Wow ladies all this talk today of 3k runs, gym sessions and yoga! I'm tired just thinking about it. Grin The most exercise I've done all day was go downstairs to the fridge to get the butter out for a hot cross bun! whoops!

I'm going to try and walk for an hour a day through-out my pregnancy as I usually do step and body combat classes but I'm going to bow out of them for the foreseeable 8 months.

I'd love to get into pregnancy yoga or Pilates as I've heard its great for active births, with my birth for DD I wanted to be upright or on my birthing ball but I ended up on all fours and in the corner for most of it! Best laid plans eh!

ineed you could always use the tried and tested ''I'm on antibiotics'' chestnut and see if that works

Hi ladies room for another one??

Got my Bfp yesterday (would have been wed if I waited to read the test properly) still sinking in I think and have developed an unhealthy addiction to peeing on sticks Grin

Stats: age 28 1st dc edd 8th dec

So excited but terrified something goes wrong

Welcome Daisy! Fellow POAS addict here...I have a lovely collection of sticks building up on my bedside table!

Toadie - I'm a casual runner but I don't feel confident to carry it on during pregnancy (worrying about my heart rate getting too high). I've been doing a bit of static cycling and weights at the gym just to maintain my fitness for as long as I can. I've also got started on daily pelvic floor exercises!!

ineedsomeinspiration · 05/04/2015 07:15

Hi Daisy.

I don't think the antibiotics line would work, the girls would usually know if sick or been to the doctor. Have decided to plead poverty and not go this time.

I'm rubbish with exercise unless it's part of day to day stuff. Going to try and do a lot of walking. Forgot about pelvic floors so will start them.

Just been woken nice and early by ds for Easter egg hunt!

Sweets27 · 05/04/2015 07:17

Hi ladies Smile

Just checking in to wish you a happy Easter! Easter Grin I am away with DH for a little Easter weekend mini break, and we're having a lovely time getting excited about the BFP (and trying not to get carried away at such an early stage..). That said, I've realised pregnancy really puts a downer on the things you can do! The no wine thing is ok, but my goodness there is just so much on menus I cannot eat!! All for a good reason though Smile

Welcome to alethea, fairy and daisy!

Have a lovely day everyone.

shinysparklythings · 05/04/2015 07:19

Hi fairy and daisy welcome along.

All this talk of exercise is making me tired. I currently go to body pump and balance and plan on continuing hat for as long as possible. Obviously taking the pregnancy options as nesecary and making sure I don't get too hot. I have a friend who still goes and lifts bigger weights than me on a couple of tracks who is 7 months pregnant!

The more active we are the easier birth and recovery should be! at least that's what they say.Grin

What's everyone got planned for today? No chocolate eggs hereHmm and I bet the shops will all of sold out by the time I get back to the uk. I was hoping for a beach day but it's very cloudy at the moment, hopefully that will clear. Tonight we are going to an argentine steak house where I am hoping they serve stuff other than steak as IMO cooking it for longer than 30 seconds is just wrong!!! Happy Easter everyone Grin

WhatsForYeWontGoByYe · 05/04/2015 08:59

Hello all....can I hop on?? Got a lovely Easter BFP today, EDD 4 Dec (but reckon it'll be later as pretty sure I ov'd late).

Hooray! Nice to see some familiar faces from the March/universal TTC buses

Having some strong symptoms already - waves of nausea, dizziness, complete exhaustion...urgh. Last pregnancy was a rocky, vomity ride through the first trimester so was hoping for an easier path this time....

Stats: WFYWGBY, 35, expecting DC2, EDD 4 Dec

alphabook · 05/04/2015 10:43

Welcome and congrats WhatsFor!

I'm currently trying to work up the energy to go to the gym - tiredness hasn't been too bad the last couple of days but it's back with a vengeance!

Gym?! Yikes. A trip around the park with my toddler this morning was enough for me! Bring on the feasting, I say Wink

Hello everybody! I'm finding it hard not to blab too, so this will be my conduit :-) DH [just getting to grips with the acronyms!] not getting massively excited yet as it's so early...

This will be my first, if all goes well, due 2nd December :-D
Super tired, thirsty and spotty - nightmare - but not sick, just a little queasy. That's not a bad thing is it? :-/

Congrats whats and hells welcome along.

Hope everyone has had a good day. I ended up having a nap earlier whilst everyone else went out as I was so tired.

Is it wrong that I'm slightly jealous of you that are feeling a bit bleurghy? I still only have sore boobs and think on Sunday I will be of to debenhm a to get a new bra as my boobs have already got bigger not that that was needed as a 36g normally :)

ineedsomeinspiration · 05/04/2015 17:21

Hi hellsbells. I wasn't sick once with my first. This time has been very different so far. Vlear skin this time vs awful skin last time, weird taste buds and nausea this time.

Cariad2014 · 05/04/2015 18:22

Hi. Just wondering if I can join you all. 11/12dpo at this end so still super early. I had two early losses last year so whilst I'm delighted to get another BFP I'm also petrified of it all going wrong again. My last pregnancy was an ectopic so I'll need an early scan at around 5 weeks to check it's in the right place.

Stats are as follows: Cariad2014, 33, ttc#1, EDD 18/19 December

Waves at ThePug, Metalhead, ShinySparkly and Dojo whom I remember from various threads on the conception boards. Here's hoping we all have our bundles of joy in our arms come Christmas Day.

alphabook · 05/04/2015 18:28

Welcome hellsbells and Cariad. Really hope this one's a sticky one Cariad and in the right place.

I wish I was getting more symptoms, although I'm sure I won't feel like that when they kick in properly! Just really sore boobs and an afternoon tiredness slump where I'm desperate to have a nap. I've been finding since I've started napping that I don't sleep as well as night, so I went off for a forest walk with DH to wake myself up a bit.

Hope everyone's having a lovely Easter Sunday!

hellsbells552 · 05/04/2015 18:34

Ha, just woke up from a nap. Thanks for the welcome :-)
Oh yes the boobs, forgot about those for a minute! Going out tomorrow to pick up some non-wired bras to sleep in!
