Thanks fizzie.

I can remember getting periods of feeling down in previous pregnancies but not sure what's bringing this on, it's like PMT only worse!

Karelia81 · 19/04/2015 00:03

Ooh quite a few 1981s - is it a last rush to get them in before the big old 35 hits next year I wonder (was with me anyway - wanted to get started at least). Just wanted to say, glad that others have symptoms that come and go, I've been a bit concerned about not really having much in the way of nausea, but then have been pretty tired so I guess that's due to pg.

WaitingForEgg · 19/04/2015 00:40

Thinking i'm going to be considered on the young side then, am 1988, OH is 1984, first baby
Bit of a long shot but anyone in the Hampshire area?
My boobs are so so sore, taking a bra off makes me catch my breath, that and fatigue are the only symptoms so far. Meant to be going to MIL's wedding in Greece in May. Will be 9ish weeks, anyone know if its safe to fly? Really hope I don't get bad sickness Hmm

abi2790 · 19/04/2015 06:44

Good morning ladies. There's nothing like being woken up at 6am buy a crazy toddler when you've chosen not slspt great!

Haha Chops I'll be 25 this year.

Is anybody else really sweaty at night? I'm always cold at the minute so I don't understand why I'm waking up every morning soaked (yuck!)

HariboBrenshnio · 19/04/2015 07:12

Abi - I'm 25 in May, you? How old is your toddler? I had DS at 23 and he's 18 months now. He was our happy little accident Smile

HariboBrenshnio · 19/04/2015 07:13

Waiting - it's totally safe to fly. I think you can fly without a doctors note up to 35 weeks but each airline is different. Definitely okay at 9 weeks. Just make sure you walk around a lot to keep blood flow, drink lots of water and eat.

claremccrory59 · 19/04/2015 07:26

Thanks chopface! I had 15 eggs but only 1 fertilised, so just the one embryo - thankfully it stuck otherwise I'd be back to square one, and you only get 1 go on the nhs where I live.

Karelia81 I was definitely trying to get started before I hit 35!! I had a bit of a crisis around my 34th bday! OH is a couple of years younger than me. some of you are so young!! I remember the 90s!! weird, sometimes I don't feel old enough for all this.

shinysparklythings · 19/04/2015 08:27

with I'm 1985 too, so this is like an extra special 30th birthday pressie! no idea what I'm going to do for my party at the end of August

waiting yup as long as you are in good health then flying is fine, you might want to get an aisle seat so it's easier to walk around and get to the loo

Am actually definitely going to town today to get a bra that fits! Didn't get round to it last week. Dread to think what size I'll need as my 36g is now too small :( my sil used to be a bra fitter and reckons I might be a k cup!! And this is only in trimester 1 Shock

Oh to whoever recommended the pregnancy day by day book it's fab. I got it from Abe books for ~£3 it's really informative and I love the pics of what bean looks like each day.

abi2790 · 19/04/2015 08:30

I'll be 25 in september Haribo. Ds is 28 months, I was 22 when I had him. I've told him he's going to have a brother or sister but he doesn't seem to understand, just says "yeah" a lot haha. he will love having a sibling though especially a little brother :)

Aww my sister started her family at 22/23 too. The thing is my nieces are will be 10 and 9 when they get their first and only cousin. Bit sad that they won't grow up and play with each other like I did with my cousins.
I'm also flying in a couple of weeks waiting! I'm dreading having morning sickness both on the plane and for our trip. Many 100's of £ to not see the sights I was so looking forward to except the inside of the hotels toilets? wish we'd either decided to book last minute or book a caravan in this country. But I really didn't expect to be pregnant. I was 100% sure we wouldn't be! We were starting fertility treatment when we got back!

shinysparklythings · 19/04/2015 08:56

I'm feeling ok, sore boobs, slightly queasy. Yesterday dh was slow cooking some beef with onions etc, and normally I would love that smell but it proper made be feel sick!

I've got to make some birthday cakes later in the week so hopefully I don't have your reaction! must remember to not lick the bowl!

Morning all! I'm under 10% risk today, yay for single figures! I'm 1982, and OH is 1977! Still feeling a-okay, no symptoms really....

LabMonkey · 19/04/2015 09:41

Morning all - EDD 22 Dec.

Third baby - DD1 (4 in a couple of weeks) and DD2 born at 16+3 (termination due to medical problems). I'm ecstatic and terrified at the same time. Also freaking out that I'm not being sick - I puked from day one with both DDs. I'm tired - not unusual but my boobs are gigantic.

My DD1 is desperate to be a sister, she doesn't know about DD2 - I'll explain when she can understand. Won't be telling her anything until I've been referred and all of the genetic tests are done.

Good luck everyone and look after yourselves x

Metalhead · 19/04/2015 10:06

I'm feeling pretty rough today, had to go back to bed to lie down for half an hour earlier as I was feeling really hungover! If I can muster the energy I might try and get a little gentle exercise this afternoon to see if that helps with the utter exhaustion. I'm also constantly waking up during the night and having rally weird dreams, which doesn't help.

At least I can still eat though, in fact eating usually helps with my nausea! Mmh cake.... Grin

chopsface · 19/04/2015 10:19

Sorry you are starting to feel poorly metal it was the continuation of my vivid dreams that alerted me to my bfp by the way! Someone told me months ago it means your temp hadn't dropped to get af!

Welcome labmonkey, sorry to hear about dd2 that must have been awful. Fingers crossed for a healthy pregnancy and a sibling for dd1 x do you work in a lab? Me too :-)

swimming? Where are you getting these stats from?

tammie49 · 19/04/2015 10:55

stats are here:
spacefem.com/pregnant/mc.php?m=03&d=09&y=15

I went to the gym this morning and do feel good for it, just the cross trainer and a bit of uphill walking. thing is I have this awful cough, I feel fine until I cough and then it's really painful. not sure if might be a bit of a chest infection and I'm asthmatic. anyone know any good remedies that are safe to use during pg?

Less of the 'old 35' talk, ladies Wink - I'll be 36 this summer which definitely puts me on the wrong side of my 30s.

See some of you have revealed your locations, so here goes: anyone in South London...?

Maybe we could update the stats with our locations?

tammie49 · 19/04/2015 12:13

funny you should say that withalittlesparkle. this started around the time i got my BFP too. the Dr said that some women find their asthma gets better! I'm coughing up a bit of mucus (sorry that's a bit grim) so might be more than just my asthma. really annoying, feel fine other than that.

chopsface · 19/04/2015 12:16

Urgh wish I never looked at those mc stats now Sad 18%

Do we have a thread stats thing with our EDD ages etc on? Who is in charge of that? I'm in Bristol and will be giving birth at the hospital that was the last series of One Born!

Metalhead · 19/04/2015 12:19

You're not the only one whatsFor, I'm 36 in September! Still, these days that's not very old to be having babies. Of my NCT group, about half were 35 or over when we all had our first, and only one was under 30.
