Hey everyone, totally know what you mean about booking appointment. Mines 15th May and feels ages away. I don't have a scan booked I think that happens when I've had the booking appointment? I know they are going to tell me off for being over weight. Went to friends last night - prosecco was already poured so went for a wander around friends new house glass in hand and shamefully poured prosecco down the bathroom sink. Do feel slightly guilty! Knicker checking / loo roll checking anxiety continues......

Jebel · 18/04/2015 16:52

Hi everyone, hope you are having restful, relaxed weekends.

I am a big worrier too and obsessively studying my old pregnancy journal for comparison. What I read from my notes is that weeks 4-7 my symptoms came and went a lot, this continued after that but at week 7 the symptoms became a lot more intense. I am trying to reassure myself by reading the notes but also making me worry more!

happy hope everything is ok, it can be really hard to see stuff and take proper measurements at this stage.

abi my right boob always more sensitive!

Thanks chops jebel. Withalittlesparkle - I am really hoping I have got my dates mixed up - I have just done a hPT which indicates 2-3 weeks = 4-5 weeks so it may just be that I ovulated later in the month than I usually do - I really really hope so.

OhHolyFuck · 18/04/2015 18:23

Hello, I am a very shocked joiner of this bus! Will read through properly later, just wanted to placemark
Am due Christmas Eve apparently

MrsMcJnr · 18/04/2015 18:35

OHF - Congratulations
Happy - this happened to me twice, i Won't Sugar coat it, the first time the embryo had just stopped growing and i did then have a mc but the Second time i feared the worst as i was sure of my ovulation date etc when i went back a week later they told me that all was fine for my dates even though the dr insisted that the baby couldn't grow two weeks worth in one but she clearly did! Everything crossed for you plus i cyst mayor well disappear as the pregnany hormones increase. That happened to me when i was pregnant with DS1. Fingers crossed for you

klb1981 · 18/04/2015 18:37

Hi, Im late to this post: can i join? I found out im pregnant on Tuesday. First baby. Due 22nd December.

tammie49 · 18/04/2015 18:41

hello!! congrats. they're getting closer and closer to Christmas now. if 1981 is the year you were born then looks like we're about the same age. it's my first too.

kbb1981 · 18/04/2015 18:45

it is, tammie49! same age! congratulations to you too! very excited but also very nervous about all the possible things that could go wrong. were you ttc for long?

tammie49 · 18/04/2015 18:52

just over a year but my periods stopped for about 4 months last summer which was a bit of a worry. I was totally shocked and I had an implantation bleed so thought I'd had my period. I'm trying not to worry too much but it's hard not to; I totally understand. were you trying for long?

kbb1981 · 18/04/2015 18:58

yey, Im so pleased to hear your news.
we have been very lucky (keeping fingers crossed). we got married at the beginning of this year and have only been trying since then, so weve been very fortunate indeed.

kbb1981 · 18/04/2015 19:00

any signs or sickness yet? Im feeling pretty well, odd twinge but otherwise nothing, except needed a snooze this afternoon (which may be purely due to laziness).

tammie49 · 18/04/2015 19:06

nothing at all. occasional twinge, my boobs look different and I'm really hungry but that's it and I'm about a week ahead of you. it's weird cause I don't really feel any different most of the time and then I remember!! my edd is about Dec 14th.

chopsface · 18/04/2015 19:19

Hi kbb welcome to the thread! I was born 1980 so not too far off you guys. I have unfortunately been ttc 2.5 long years! My EDD is 21st according to online calculator or 23rd according to GP! I also found out on Tuesday which was my 35th birthday!

Honey85 · 18/04/2015 19:28

Hello! Please could I join? I've recently found out I'm expecting our second! DD is almost 3, took us over a year to conceive with her and this one was a bit of a surprise so over the moon ... Now we are over the shock! Current edd by lmp is 30th November but pretty sure I know When i ov'd so due date will be 2nd December I expect! Fx all being well.

Sore boobs, constant hunger and nausea over here although symptoms come and go often. Very diff to first as I was really sick with her from 6-20 weeks. So that has been worrying me a bit but guess they're all different! Reckon I've gained half a stone already I can't stop eating!

Congrats to all the other ladies and thoughts to those that are going through a rough time, I've been there, not nice xx

claremccrory59 · 18/04/2015 21:09

I am also born 1981 - popular year! 5 years TTC for us, finally had ivf under the care of the lovely NHS :)

HariboBrenshnio · 18/04/2015 21:24

Hi and congratulations to the newbies! I missed out on an 80's birthday by 5 months. 1990 over here Smile

I literally can't keep my eyes open. The exhaustion is really settling in now. Other symptoms are on and off like others have mentioned. I remember with DS them being on and off and then 8 weeks hit and so did the sickness!

babsbunny · 18/04/2015 21:29

Hi ladies. Can I place mark?

Feel a bit in limbo as I got a very early bfp on Thursday (only tested on a whim as I felt ill last week). So am only CD25 today. Think I'm 12/13 dpo. But very strong line this afternoon.

Feel on edge as it's so early. According to NHS calculator I'm due new years eve but could be a few days earlier (i was banking on a 29 day cycle this month, but reckon it would have been shorter, due to early ov).

It's number one for me and dh. And I'm part of the 1981 club too!

abi2790 · 18/04/2015 22:15

I'm 1990 too Haribo Grin

Congrats to the new bfp's!

chopsface · 18/04/2015 22:24

Brilliant news Clare! Congrats after all that time! How many embies did you have transferred? Any chance of twins? Wink when did you get your bfp?

Hi babs I'm here too hun!

Abi and haribo aren't 1990's kids about 12 or am.I just getting old? Confused i can count by the way!

Fizzie100 · 18/04/2015 22:27

Congrats Clare!

Fizzie100 · 18/04/2015 22:31

Welcome nice to see so many new peoole.

I'm not posting much becasue my hormones are everywhere, I feel really down and I can't pin it on anything.

Also not been having hardly any symptoms and it's hard to believe it's happening.

I need a slap with a wet fish, and a scan.

Fizzie100 · 18/04/2015 22:53

Hi Terry, I know exactly how you feel, it's so tough when scan and booking appointments are so far away. Try to keep positive, I know how hard it is when there's so much anxiety x
