Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 25th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 42nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

The stats sheet will be linked to by our stats hero La (can't do on iPad sorry!)

So, roll call below please, viroids!

I'm here! Did anyone miss me? Oh... no-one... Sad

Yay for new thread title! Yay for scans! Yay for cocktail comp! Yay for cheap prams! Wow to upduffed on pill twice!

Boo to broken bums! Boo to symptom spotting worries - stop!

Just popping my head in. Work is kicking my arse, hate everything. Today worried about lack of movement, going to monitor tonight when I eventually get home and decide what to do.

So tired...

batfish · 01/04/2015 19:11

Lovely names indigo - we are thinking about Rose as a middle name too if we have a girl - it was hubby's grandma's name and we would have my grandma's name as first name.

Twice Pixie!

Indigo post a pic to show us Smile

Zyla it was the Rialto in white. After the crap reviews I looked at another range and they were much the same. Did you have any assembly problems?

La, sounds like not just you that's glad you're home

My new cleaners started today and I luffs them a bit. Old one had to stop due to injury. I just love a clean house really that I haven't had to clean. I told them I'll still need them while I'm on mat leave. I'm not spending precious baby time cleaning!

Dulcet hope everything is ok. Have a cold drink?

Indigo, I like Kirsten, it's on my list

ZylaB · 01/04/2015 20:07

purple we've got the chamberlain in oak and it's lovely! (They assembled it though, to be fair! :) )

Report
Purpleball · 01/04/2015 20:18

Can't find that one Zyla. I've looked at a few ranges. We'd assemble it ourselves and a lot of the reviews are related to assembly and quality

Great scan news bat! Are you on the October fb group too- did you also put your scan pic on there? If so, wow, 4d at early stages is cool!

When I had my early scan they dated me 9+4 on the day, and said that the due date wouldn't change based on any other scans - ie 17th October is fixed. So if, at my scan next week, baby is larger/smaller than that, will it just be classed as big or small for age? Has anyone else had this? Or had dates changed after an initial date was given?

Viroids- advice... Last night we dtd (only 3rd time since BFP) and today ive been more achey (like mild period pains) and things have been very 'swamp-like'... Normal? Or weird?

Report
Purpleball · 01/04/2015 20:49

That's normal for me Toast. I get sharp pains when I move awkwardly or twist, also after sex
Swamp fanjo is a common thing apparently, I have stocked up on panty liners Sad

Report
ZylaB · 01/04/2015 20:59

purple I suspect they've stopped doing it, which is silly cos it's lovely!

Report
gaggiagirl · 01/04/2015 21:17

toast totally normal!

dulcet how many weeks are you now? You must call the midwife if you're worried. Let us know how you get on.

I've got the Rialto In the wood finish purple it was easy to put together - Mr tee did it in a day, and we had no issues with it. I think it looks nice.... Given that I was completely against furniture originally, it has won me over...
All my Star Wars elements have arrived for tiny tee's room, will be assembling on Friday, pics will go on fb :)

toast my dates have changed three times! My date from icing was 6thh June, so that went on notes at booking, then first scan put me at 12th June, then EPU put me back to 5th June when I had a bonus scan at 15 weeks, and then at my 20'week scan she said she would go with the date from the 12 week scan, but at all my MW apps they've gone from the date I had at booking in, So basically I'm shooting for early June?! I know its not an exact science....I guess my only mild concern is if I do end up with a slightly early induction, will it be too early? Either way, it's only a week difference.

la ouch ouch ouch. Torn bum hugs for you. The blood totally freaked me out and the actual bumrip poo made me cry out it hurt so much. Mr tee thought I was giving birth. I'm eating a punnet of strawberries every day and it seems to be helping. Also Vaseline around your nipsy pre poo- at least psychologically it's made me think it can get out a bit easier...?

Any wriggling dulcet? laying on my side with a glass of cold coke makes mine jiggle a bit, hope you're okay, ring the MW if not! also non mumsnetty hugs for you and shit work day, do you want me to poo in a jiffy and send it to anyone for you?

I'm now swaying towards a mothercare Lulworth which I liked when I saw in store.

I need to eat more fruit. Have had a couple of thinking I'm going to poo the baby out momentsConfused

Currently waiting for an 18 week heart scan appt at a different hospital. Tried to find out where it would be so I could phone them don't trust grumpy doc but no joy. Couldn't work out which dept it would be. No antenatal or ultrasound on the website list

DulcetMoans · 01/04/2015 21:46

Thanks viroids. I'm 26weeks gaggia, it's hard because I am still learning what is normal for me. It's probably because I have been busy and worked late the last two days. Had a bit more fidgeting this evening so think it's ok, the real test is when I got to bed.

Poo in a bag would be great tee, can you address it to 'everyone Dulcet works with'? Thanks! Might require a large amount of poos!

I thought they took the date at the 12 weeks scan as the rule toast and measure you compared to that. Oh, actually, I've changed my mind as my 12 weeks scan first pregnancy was dated from early scan date, not LMP.

Excellent news on cleaner purple. Would love a cleaner. One day...!

Evening!

dulcet lie down on your left and drink either a cold or hot drink. That always gets mine jumping. I haven't got so much movement today but I've been really active so it's likely he's been moving and I've not noticed. Just been to my fitness class.

I hear you about work. Went in today and it was like everyone descended on me asking questions. Lots of 'urgent' stuff that wasn't urgent. Make sure you're knocking stuff back that you simply can't manage

Toast - perfectly normal! I had an orgasm last night and it ached right through my bump!

Purple I have the Rialto cot bed - bought for £30 off some lady on Facebook great condition. It's lovely

Report
teejayem · 01/04/2015 22:27

Ooh! I could deep freeze some poosicles until I have enough for a bulk order for you dulcet?

Report
DulcetMoans · 01/04/2015 22:35

What an excellent idea tee! I'll send it like that - Shit on a stick!

Weird how everyone else's stuff is urgent la, isn't it! No one applied for my mat cover internally either - don't blame them!

Are you getting a new mattress for your cot la? We got one off eBay too but need a new mattress now. Not looked into it so not sure if there are options.

Yeah it's amazing - I plan my work and I'm trying to get everything done before mat leave. Then these people come along and expect me to drop what I'm doing to help them because 'it's urgent'. It's not urgent, you just didn't plan it properly. So my planned work gets delayed. Grrr

I'm buying new mattress yes - you can buy them from mamas and papas or just from any place that sells baby furnishings. I looked to find out what size the cot mattress is on their website then looked at prices elsewhere. Expensive things though - £70-£90

Have you taken your own advice and lay down on your left with a hot/cold drink?
