Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 25th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 42nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

The stats sheet will be linked to by our stats hero La (can't do on iPad sorry!)

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Oh and no unfortunately DD is not quite walking yet, she's crawling and cruising, never sits bloody still, she can quite easily crawl up furniture as well if there's something of interest (usually the remote which she then points at the telly and tries turning the channel... But I am quicker.. The batteries are already out! Mwahahaha!!) but no sign of walking on her own yet. Don't know whether it'll be easier or harder when she does... I suppose for a bit she won't be able to run off straight away, I'll need to dig her reins out.

pixie I used to go to sleep in hair salon and hairdresser would carry on. She knew me well and I worked 2 jobs so was always tired

Sounds like hard work la. I def used to get the pain at the top of the bump - felt very bruised. The midwife told me that it was because the little one was breech and so her head was causing bruising at the top of my uterus...not sure how accurate that is in reality, but that's what she told me. Actually, come to think of it, that pain did ease off about a week after she turned head down...
Hope you can take it a bit easier today and get a good foot rub!

Sorry to hear you had a bad night pixie Hope you can get some rest today.

Thanks wil, I think you may be right Grin

I used to get that too La. Midwife never suggested reasons, just made 'it's normal' noises.

I think the hardest bit is when they want to walk but can't quite manage it so you have to endlessly walk with them, hunched over. When they can do it themselves just move all dangerous stuff away and let them at it.

Was so smug I was showered and dressed by half seven this morning. So to take me down a peg or two, she projectile vomited what felt like ten gallons of puke all over me. Delightful Hmm

I have the sore bump too la l& same as mini they said to me it was because he's laying oblique breech, although I've had that niggle pain a few times since probably about 22 weeks, it's gotten worse in the last few and makes me not want to eat. It's surprisingly painful, not like anything I've ever had before, the closest Thing I can think of is like being badly winded?
The only time I've wanted to punch Mr tee was when he squeezed my comedy pointy bump when he was drunk at his birthday the other week and I felt like I was being squashed to death. He won't do it again....

Morning viroids.

La I'm not surprised you're knackered. I sit down to train these days then wander a bit every now and then.

Just got an email saying there's a sale on mamas and papas furniture. Was debating it as its too early to buy really but then I read the reviews. Apparently it's utter shite.
Need a rethink on the nursery furniture then

Viroids there's still a baby in there! Phewww! A 7cm one with a brain and a spine and everything! Will post pic on Facebook in a bit, we got a freaky 4D one. So happy all is OK and Downs looks like low risk too but just waiting on blood results. My due date has moved forward 5 whole days too which makes me 13+3, weird! Why does it move? Am I growing a fat one?!

Report
Fleurchamp · 01/04/2015 12:17

Mine moved back two days bat but I am sticking with my original date as I know for sure the day we conceived as no action went on that month except one night Blush (in fairness we had been away on an activity holiday which involved camping in close proximity to other tents - no way was DH coming near me! And then straight afterwards DH was away for work).

I am so over working. Can maternity leave start now, please????

Whoop Bat that's great news!

I texted my shit MW yesterday asking when to expect my scan date through and she was useless, so I called the Ultrasound dept myself to find out what was going on. Turned out they hadn't had the paperwork from antenatal so the lovely receptionist just booked me in herself Smile 12w scan now booked for 30th!

Am a bit worried though, in the last 2 days my boobs have stopped hurting completely and I am no longer feeling queasy...I feel a reduction in prig symptoms can't be good? Confused

willywallace · 01/04/2015 12:58

Maybe you had a laid back sperm and a hard to get egg Fleur and they did a bit of cat and mouse for two days before getting together Grin .

Don't panic Lemon, symptoms come and go. Listen to your gut feelings - I think they're usually right about these things.

I had my date changed by 2 days too and I know the date of my period and when we DTD so it makes no sense but as it will be 2 weeks earlier I don't suppose it matters that much

Great news Bat and please don't worry too much Lemon, symptoms can definitely come and go!
The landlady is coming round this afternoon to get something out of the Farage and do some gardening. She's a nice enough lady but it is slightly getting on my nerves with the frequency of her visits, she's always "popping" round for something or other and im pretty sure she said she'd only be doing the gardening once every 2-3 weeks. We've been here two months and she's gardened at least 5 times! It's not even that large of a garden! I think she's spying on us! It's all very odd and I don't think I'll be renewing my tenancy next year, as much as I like the house, because it feels like I'm being watched! Ive told her that I'll be in bed when she comes round as I haven't been well last night. Fingers crossed that will keep her at arms length!

bat Great news on your scan!!! I had my date moved forward by 6 days too, and I know it is unlikey since I was recording when we dtd and we just didn't at and using contraband icing tests of course but they don't listen.

Purple DH and I had a similar start as you guys by the sounds! Moved in, got engaged, married, bought house, had baby all within 2.5 years. Something about the latter part of the 30s/early 40s that brings urgency. Wink Very well done on managing your diabetes btw.

Lemon symptoms ebb and flow as your hormones fluctuate. Try not to stress, get enough rest and eat healthily while you can stomach anything not sugary and fatty.

Pixie sending empathy and Brew your way. I was awake from 1am to around 3ish with burning bile although thankfully didn't vomit, had the with DD. Am wondering if this one will arrive with a full of head of hair too, might give weight to that old wives' tale!

Try not to worry lemon - I haven't had any symptoms other than sore boobs but they definitely got much better at some point - at one stage I had to sleep in a sports bra and then they eased off a lot. I have been worrying absolutely loads about lack of symptoms but I still appear to have a baby doing somersaults inside me so I guess symptoms or lack of don't mean much. If you are really concerned then definitely check it out but hopefully nothing at all to worry about!

Yeah I'm sure my original due date was correct but I'll take this new one instead as I like being further on than I was before Smile

Aww thank you Fresh! Your empathy is much needed! Had a bit of a kip just before DP walked in from work, he's now fannying around having a shower etc and woke me up (definitely going to LTB for that! Haha)
Anyway don't worry about the rush on for kids. Me and my DP were only together 2 weeks before I got pregnant! I would have liked to at least been engaged first but sometimes it doesn't work that way. We started living together soon after and we rent our house but are looking to start saving for a mortgage this year. Now we are expecting another baby and we haven't even been together 2 years yet! In fact this baby will probably be born before our "two year anniversary" but hey ho! I was still smoking and getting drunk just before I found out I was pregnant with our first, was quite a shock let me tell you! Getting caught on the pill twice is no fun for anyone but I wouldn't swap it for the world. Let's just say one of us is getting snipped, we just can't decide who. Otherwise I'll be taking every contraceptive known to man plus double bagging that pesky willybob before its allowed near me again!

Pixie OMFG, TWICE on the Pill? You two clearly have supergenes that are determined to stay in the gene pool! Brilliant stuff! Grin

Funny you should mention the snip debate, we are having that in our household too. Much less trouble for DH, but he will be our sole income earner for awhile so more risky should there be complications, so will probably be me. Also he has that typically masculine mortal fear of anyone going near his kit with a sharp object. Hmm

TWICE pixie omg! Time to switch contraceptives after this baby?

Yay mountain! Did you find out the flavour? Or is it going to be a surprise?

Dh is doing a cocktail comp in London today - it's looking good so far for him winning, hooray!!

I'm having a lie down before heading to my fitness class. Cat has head resting on my bump with baby kicking him in the head. Cats were v pleased to see me after two days with their dad (he forgets to feed them)

Just burst my bum - need to drink more! Blood everywhere! Drinking loads but still bloody constipated.
