Good luck little. hope it all goes well.

babiecakes - 6 weeks already? time flies. I cannot believe ds is 3 weeks today. Not having so much luck with the sleep - think ds and dd are playing tag team. when I am on my own with them both ds wakes up and then as soon as he settles dd is up for the day. On the days dh can get up with dd, ds decides he isn't going to settle in the morning so I can go back to bed and dd decides to lay in for dh. I think ds is also in another growth spurt and so feeding lots and screaming when he wants milk. He also decided he wanted milk just as dd went down for a nap meaning I never got a nap. luckily dh is around for the next couple of days so I should get a chance to sleep.

Oh smiling, what a crazy woman!!!

Nothing happening here on its own but just back from hospital having had first induction drugs and a third sweep, if nothing has happened I am back tomorrow afternoon and have to stay till he's here. Didn't seem like anything had progressed since friday so heres hoping these drugs do something!! He seems all to comfortable in there!!

MAybe we are going to get a flurry of babies int he next couple of days :-)

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 12/04/2015 19:04

Glad they have sorted it little Good luck.

Good luck to you too lila

london I'm hoping you have your baby in your arms now.

We took DS to have a cast of his hand and footprint made this morning and then went to my mums for the rest of the day, just got home and am keeping DS with me at all times so mil doesn't try and pick him up, she doesn't deserve the title of grandma, thankfully she goes on holiday tomorrow so we can relax for a few days. I'm going to email the solicitor and say I will sell her my share of the deeds for £5000 that's enough for a deposit and 6 months rent plus moving van, then she can do what she likes. Tomorrow I am ringing every lettings agency in the area and with a bit of luck will find somewhere by the end of the week. She is acting as of nothing has happened which is making me really angry Angry

We had a great night with DS he cluster fed from 6.30pm till 10.15pm then slept till 3.30am then went back down at 4.15am till 7.30am Grin

Shetland · 12/04/2015 19:04

Good luck little and lila :)

LondonSuperTrooper · 12/04/2015 20:18

Wow lots has happened since I last posted- will try and catch up.

I'm thrilled to announce the safe arrival of Buuny Grin She was born yesterday at 6.30pm after an induction. Currently we are struggling with breastfeeding. Midwives here have been fantastic but I'm cluesless about breastfeeding and Bunny just isn't sucking. It's v stressful and I hate my blooming big boobs Angry

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 12/04/2015 20:34

Congratulations london Flowers

LIG1979 · 12/04/2015 21:15

congratulations London on the birth of your little girl. sorry the bf ing isn't going to plan. Glad they are offering you help in the hospital and there is lots of help in the community such as nct, la leche league and breastfeeding cafes so hopefully there will be support if you need it. I have found with both mine that there is a lot of pressure in the hospital to feed every 3 hours at least and both my dcs have refused to eat that regularly in the hospital and so it has been a battle. (Both mine were early and for the 1st couple of weeks cjose to sleep over eating.) If I wait till they want food it goes well but they won't just suck because there is a boob in the area. I hope you get it sorted and get some rest.

Shetland · 12/04/2015 21:29

Congratulations london :) :)

TinyTear · 13/04/2015 08:15

Congratulations on the arrival of Bunny!!

Congrats London!

I had some mild contractions this morning from about 230, managed to get back to sleep around 330 and then a few more between 7 and 10, seems to have tailed off since, also had some browny discharge on pad but that seems to be normal, she said only worry if it was bright red. BAck this afternoon and will be kept hospital hostage till he's here!

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 13/04/2015 17:23

Good luck lila hopefully it won't be to long before he arrives.

DS has graduated to 3oz bottles, he really is a hungry little monkey. Unfortunately I think he's picked up on the stress and tension in the house and has been a bit unsettled Sad thankfully that bloody women has gone away until Friday so the atmosphere in the house is much better.

We spent all morning phoning letting agents but had no luck, just as I was starting to give up hope I finally got a call back from the agency with the house near my mum, it isn't available until the beginning of May and although I said I didn't need to view it and was happy to pay the deposit now apparently legally we have to view first so we now have to wait till the tenants move out. She said she has put us at the top of the list but we will call everyday from the 1st of May just to be on the safe side. It would be perfect, 3 bedrooms, garden and nice area, beanie would go to my old school and at the lower end of our price range so finances wouldn't be so stretched. I also emailed the solicitor stating that I will sell my share in the house to her with a figure that will cover the deposit, 6 months rent and moving costs but he is on holiday so we will have to wait and see what the reply is.

Not quite how I imagined I'd be spending the first couple of weeks of DS's life Angry

Shetland · 13/04/2015 18:40

Good luck lila :)

Sounds stressful smiling Hope the rental works out. Is MIL in a position to buy from you then? That would be the easiest solution.

Constant BHs here, some a bit ouchy but much as I'd love to believe it's the start of something, I really don't think it is :(

38+4

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 13/04/2015 19:54

No she couldn't buy from us but the plan she's hatched with her sister is that her sister who is well off will pay off the mortgage then take it back out of the sale, mil's share of the house was cash from the sale of her old mortgage free house and she will buy a bungalow with what is left.

I'm happy for her to pay off the mortgage but need money to rent somewhere else, if it wasn't for beanie DP and I would just rent a room somewhere for now and tell them to stick the house but my son needs a safe, secure home so I've calculated how much 6 months rent will be plus moving costs and the deposit and given them that figure which mil can easily afford, it's not a penny over what we need. Then the small amount of savings we have which we would use as a deposit can stay in the bank for emergencies as there is no way we will be able to afford to save and would be stuffed if say one of the cars broke. My mum has been great and has offered to pay for my horse until I'm back at work and has said when beanie needs new clothes she will take me shopping and buy them. DP broke down over that because in his words "that's what a parent/grandparent should do, not what MIL has done" Sad I feel so sorry for him.

You never know shetland it might be early labour Grin

Shetland · 14/04/2015 10:04

Your mum sounds great smiling :)

Nothing happening here - still BHs but no sign of anything else. Hope it's not going to be a couple of weeks of this.

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 14/04/2015 13:13

I'm assuming a couple of people are 'busy' on the labour ward?! It's been quiet on here.

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 15/04/2015 08:09

I keep checking for news from little even DP keeps asking if I've heard anything.

Shetland · 15/04/2015 08:39

I'm in early labour! Think I might have a fair while to go but hopefully I'll have an arrival today :)
