I've sent DP out to do one of my regular babysitting jobs so I'm home alone with DS and MIL!

DS and I have decamped upstairs, I've got everything I need, bottles for DS and food and drink for myself so I don't have to cross paths with the psychotic old witch.

She's started playing games like moving our stuff and yesterday she took everything that belongs to me out of one of the kitchen cupboards and left her stuff and anything that was DP's in it Hmm

TinyTear · 02/05/2015 20:17

Smiling, the sooner you are out the better. Evil witch

Still waiting for DP'S work to send the proof of employment letter back to the letting agent am hoping it's sorted on Tuesday. We have a possible moving date of the 22nd of May so not much longer to put up with her.

Tiny I'm suprised by just how attached DD is to my boobs not just eating but sleeping on the and just generally cuddling them.

smiling she sounds unhinged!

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 05/05/2015 10:08

How's everyone doing?

I'm taking DS to the dr this morning to get something for his reflux, infacol has helped until yesterday when he was completely inconsolable and was up most of the night, he seems a lot happier this morning but I can feel the wind bubbling in his little tummy Sad

TinyTear · 05/05/2015 10:24

sleeeeeeepy
lots of feeding as well. some days i do wonder about reflux but i think she only has signs at some times, not always, so may be something more temporary and we are only one week away from the mythical 6 weeks when things start to get better so i'll wait and hope...

btw, i tend to find fb a bit easier one handed on the phone, so have been there more. let me know if anyone wants adding to the April group...

anyway, i am now dreading the week my parents will come to stay (in 3 weeks) and will hope things have settled more by then...

smiling doing exactly the same today going to GPs over reflux our 2nd visit. The Gaviscon didn't work just made her very constipated causing her more discomfort than the reflux. Plus its not particularly good for BF babies if you aren't using bottles.
The bubbly tummy is horrible.

My DD doesn't really cry just groans and fusses a lot but its obvious she is uncomfortable. Thankfully she's still sleeping well but she makes so much noise she still manages to keep me up.
For now between the hours of 10pm - 6:30am she only gets up once between 2/3am for a feed.

Tiny I told DH it would probably improve around 6 weeks he was Shock and pointed out that was double her life time.

I'm not on FB I'm tempted to join.

TinyTear · 05/05/2015 11:16

Little, some people have accounts just for the group... it's secret so no one can see...

I don't put photos here, but do on the FB group... and it's good at 2am to know more people are also feeding their 3/4 week olds...

We went to the local BF group today, it was really nice I look forward to becoming a regular.
The GP is referring DD to a paediatrician its looking like DDs reflux is being caused by allergies. I suspected she may get them which was one of my main reasons for BF just incase she is allergic/intolerant to dairy.

TinyTear · 05/05/2015 18:19

Little on the fb group there is someone trying a dairy free dairy for breastfeeding

Today I went to baby cinema to see far from the madding crowd. It was great. Alice either slept or fed...

Can I join the Facebook page please tiny?

We have changed DS's milk to Aptamil comfort and he now has gaviscon.

I'm going to try the change of milk first and see if that helps on its own before trying the gaviscon. He has been happier today so hoping it will work. The GP was great she said to try the above and if no change than she would prescribe colief.

LittleBairn · 05/05/2015 19:12

Tiny I'm already DF (except for the odd accidental slip) due to lactose intolerance. I'm think DD is allergic to eggs and who knows what else.
But I might be able to offer advice DF is really hard its taken me years to get used to it.

smiling Aptmil has a really good track record of helping Reflux. My cousin baby is on it she still vomits a lot but is so much happier.

TinyTear · 05/05/2015 20:24

Smiling pm me your fb name and what you look like on profile PIC and I can add you

He's been on aptamil since birth and has really thrived on it it's just been the last 3 days that the reflux seems to of hit.

The aptamil comfort seems to be helping after 2 feeds, he's kept both down and has put himself to sleep in his bouncer instead of screaming because he's not being jiggled around to release the wind. Hopefully it will last.
