Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 23rd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 40th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

The stats sheet is here

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Bit of an epic catch up there viroids! Looks like I missed out on a good day.

Sorry about the sad day la, hopefully the mum chat can see you through for a bit and making mummy group friends will help too. You've for an entertaining set of in laws to cheer you up though - can't wait to hear what's on the list!

Still a couple hours to go pis...!

That sounds a bit shit lemon but process-wise it's not too unusual. I though bloods were usually taken at 12 week scan and then you don't see midwife again until 16wks. Do you have that midwife the whole time now or could it be another one next time?

This thread does well for fast food outlets! Chips and gravy... Mmmm!

I was only partly aware of the push present thing and then a friend told me DH 'had' to get me an eternity ring when I've popped to which I thought I don't really want one! Came home and told DH, who'd never heard of it anyway, that I don't want it. Packet of mini eggs and a cuddle will be enough.

OBEM anyone?? Couple can't agree on a name popz! Only took them 5 days with the first though.

RPopz · 17/03/2015 21:52

I've sky plussed OBEM... can't decide if I'm brave enough for it yet... I'm sure it's a common affliction Dulce Wink

I loathe the term push present.... (even though I want one Grin) I did actually get a bunch of flowers from DH but the mw wouldn't give him a vase Shock lol.

I used to work at KFC gaggia during my misspent youth You'd think that'd put me off the stuff but nooooo.

Chips and gravy for me too Tee. With mayo for dunking... Blush

willywallace · 17/03/2015 21:58

Ah yes no flowers in post natal ward. My mum tried to give me some the first time.

You're so nice Dulcet. I bloody do want a diamond. It's a small price to pay for a ruined fanjo two beautiful children.

I have spent today force feeding my baby to try to make her put on more weight. My nipples are raw.

willywallace · 17/03/2015 22:02

I'd love to see the northern lights Tee but I'm not north enough. Can you see them Indigo?

LaLaLaaaa · 17/03/2015 22:03

Watching obem just now. This is probably a shite idea

OP posts:
teejayem · 17/03/2015 22:03

OBEM doesn't seem to be as fly on the wall horrifying as the earlier series? I used to feel properly invested in some of the births on previous episodes, but maybe it's because this is the first time I've ever watched a season of it sober??! (and pregnant!!!)
Full kudos to the couple calling their baby Thor though. Unfortunately another name consigned to the veto list by Mr Tee :(

Indigoblue2 · 17/03/2015 22:15

Haven't looked wil but will go out and check, we usually get them good up here!

teejayem · 17/03/2015 22:16

serious envy if you can see them indigo - it's one of the very few weather/natural type phenomenon I've not seen. Fx you can!!

LaLaLaaaa · 17/03/2015 22:18

I know! I don't like this series at all - I don't know if I'm not clicking with the midwives, or if it's the way they are filming it

The men all seem ridiculously lazy and useless too

OP posts:
Purpleball · 17/03/2015 22:19

Have to save OBEM for when DH is out cow he's squeamish and swears he will be head end only!

No sign of Northern lights here but we're Yorkshire so not that far north and it's cloudy

DulcetMoans · 17/03/2015 22:19

Well I am nice wil, of course! But it's more I don't wear jewellery really, only my wedding and engagement ring. Plus, when someone tells me I have to do something a particular way I automatically don't want to! You completely deserve a diamond though, keep on it!

You ruined the deliciousness with Mayo-muck popz! You can't come near my chips ever!

It is a but different now tee but not sure why... Maybe it is that.

Giving my dreamgenii another go, see if it can help me sleep.

TheBooMonster · 17/03/2015 22:20

mmmmm chips and gravy! DD and I went to get chips earlier, I'm constantly amazed by the things she enjoys as she ended up stealing most of my curry sauce! Onlookers looked suitably horrified at me letting her dip and gorge, but she'd have gone mental if I'd taken it away from her!

hmm... I had started to get a bizarre fist in the banjo feeling most evenings but it's suspiciously absent his evening, hope this doesn't mean the little minx has wriggled back up!!

tee I'm finding OBEM quite disappointing this time round, normally I'm savouring every minute of it but this time I'm just annoyed at how much time people spend on their back like upturned turtles Hmm

gaggiagirl · 17/03/2015 22:21

I know a little boy called Thorn. Not quite Thor.
Yay! Someone didn't get an epidural on OBEM!

mountaingirl01 · 17/03/2015 22:21

gaggia I've just remembered this ..

www.msichicago.org/whats-here/exhibits/you/the-exhibit/your-beginning/make-room-for-baby/interactive/

Helped me visualise why I needed mat trousers at 10 weeks ...

Indigoblue2 · 17/03/2015 22:27

Haven't looked wil but will go out and check, we usually get them good up here!

Indigoblue2 · 17/03/2015 22:29

Sorry thought that hadn't posted it told me it hadn't but it had!

gaggiagirl · 17/03/2015 22:35

mountain that's incredible! I see how it works now, so if my intestinal bits are suffering from digestive discomfort/bloat then I will look bigger?
My guts must be huge.

splodge77 · 17/03/2015 22:45

I watched OBEM too, not sure it's a great idea when heavily preggo tho! That Brazilian guy moaning about being tired & not 100% - man up!! Your wife's in effing labour!! I must say DP has been annoying me today - going on about how ill & rundown he feels while I've spent last 2 days puking me guts up & dealing with cystitis whilst also being 34 wks preggo. But poor diddums has a lingering cold so needs sympathy. Grrr. Why are men so shit at being ill?

gaggiagirl · 17/03/2015 22:49

Is everyone on a Month thread for their due date?
Do you find it weird at all? I'm on the October facebook group and thread and I cant warm to it, there are so many people and one poster said something really twatful once which pissed me off. A poster was bleeding and scared and was expected at a baby shower that evening. Another poster told her if she didn't go to the shower she would regret it forever Shock. This was on FB. I'm not sure if ill keep up with it.
My sister was on the June thread last year and has formed firm friends so maybe its just me.

LaLaLaaaa · 17/03/2015 22:55

Gaggia I feel the same. I got fed up coz I posted and people just ignored me and kept talking about whatever so I stopped looking. I go on occasionally now but I've no idea who anyone is. The Facebook group is friendlier. I do find though that they are a lot of worriers and sometimes it gets me worrying. I'm always saying stop worrying to them. I think it's coz on here everyone's different stages so we reassure folk straight away that what's happening is normal.

Lauren how are you getting on? Are you lurking?

Minila was having a quiet evening so I've just been bit mean and lay on my tummy. He's now woken up and is furiously kicking!!!

Lemondrizzletwunt · 17/03/2015 22:56

Ga I'm with you, November is rubbish!

teejayem · 17/03/2015 23:11

I've not joined the month thread for June, tbh it made me totally neurotic early on, and I just felt some were perhaps a little self obsessed hypocrite much so I haven't bothered with the fb group either. It was pretty much the reason I joined the JS'rs in the first place, I just liked the people more! So I've stuck with our little group throughout. My guilty pleasure is looking at all the historical pregnancy and childbirth threads, some have been very entertaining!
Mr tee complained of being tired earlier splodge and I almost karate chopped him to death. Hope you're feeling a little bit better? xx
I am full of KFC pass the gaviscon!

RPopz · 17/03/2015 23:16

I didn't like my January club on mn. There were so many people I could never bloody keep up, especially in the first trim. But then it moved to fb and the posting was easier to keep up with and those of us posting regularly got to know each other. Met up with a few of them and their babes last week actually Smile

splodge77 · 17/03/2015 23:18

I'm much much better today thanks but I think he now thinks therefore it's ok to go into total pathetic poor me mode. Get over it! You're not lugging a jiggly wiggly baby around 24-7 that's using your bladder as a trampoline!

RPopz · 17/03/2015 23:18

P.S we were totes going to call minipopz Thor if we accidentallyon purpose conceived him in Greece haha! Grin
