Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 23rd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 40th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

The stats sheet is here

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Hi all - also got a lie in this morning - 10am!

The box will definitely have copious amounts of talc in it still have tons of it left from last time round Wink probably something knitted, and a load of things from when your DH was little GrinGrin

gaggiagirl · 15/03/2015 16:43

The box:
Talc
Napisan
Sudocrem
Mobile
Baby grows with slogans on them
Uncomfortable Victorian style newborn 5 piece outfits.
Books
Inappropriate toys
Silver plated shite.

LaLaLaaaa · 15/03/2015 17:37

Open the box dulcet!

DulcetMoans · 15/03/2015 17:44

Haha. Loving your lists but not sure this will get resolved today as the tactic seems to be to ignore the issue at the moment. It's making for an air of tension which is lovely. Left them with PIL earlier while I popped out so will see if anything was said later.

Sorry to disappoint!

Purpleball · 15/03/2015 17:45

Don't forget the matinee jackets in the box too

Paris a bit of a wash out here. Managed the Eiffel Tower and lunch then back for a nap and a poo, next thing I knew it was 5:30 so not a chance of going to sacre coeur and I'm knackered. I think I overdid it yesterday.
DH is disappointed by paris and I'm a bit gutted as I love it and I feel he's not had the best experience of it thanks to me being too knackered to do much.
We did have a shag yesterday though, 4th since conception, although compared with some of you we're doing well!

I got no mention of Mother's Day but it is our wedding anniversary although we left the cards at home and decided not to do presents as we'd spend a lot this weekend

willywallace · 15/03/2015 17:56

Ah Dulcet, you're killing me! Grin

How can you be disappointed with Paris? I'd love a city break.

Last night's lack of sleep catching up with me. Had a doze on the couch and now feel sledgehammered.

Indigoblue2 · 15/03/2015 18:36

Is it wrong when you haven't felt your baby move for a while, to wiggle your belly like something out of Bollywood, or a teenage girl twerking?

TheBooMonster · 15/03/2015 19:13

My DH's aunt and uncle went a bit overboard when they found out we were expecting DD, they brought us over a box of things eagerly within about 24 hours of us being out of the hospital, I'm there all suffering from PPH blood loss and the shell shock of having a baby an entire 4 weeks earlier than expected and they're staring expectantly waiting for me to unwrap everything! It's super sweet, and I really did appreciate it, I was just a bit OMG! But it was full of Johnson's toiletries, clothes in sizes up to a year, toys in age appropriateness of straight away through to about 18 months, a baby gym, weaning stuff, it was a pretty incredible haul, and very sweet, so it's quite possible that dulcet's box will be full of surprisingly thoughtful and useful things! But just as possible it will be full of 'I love Grandma / Grandad / Daddy (but no sign of mummy)' slogan baby grows

DulcetMoans · 15/03/2015 19:52

As suspected, left with no mention and no one said anything to DH either. So it will bubble under the surface until it eventually blows up and one of us cries! It's a shame as I get on so well with MIL usually, this change in dynamics has left us both a bit lost I think. And I need to know what's in the box!!

Perfectly normal indigo! We both do it here but baby doesn't normally play along much. It's will kick when it wants, not when we want!

Shame you have been disappointed in Paris purple but I hope you enjoyed it anyway. A break is still a break and you were together.

Purpleball · 15/03/2015 20:02

It's disappointing because I've been too knackered to do much and because DH hasn't warmed to Paris at all.
I still love Paris but we never made it to sacre coeur after I slept all afternoon and I feel bad

teejayem · 15/03/2015 20:09

Survived! Currently demolishing a large toblerone and a tea.
I like this mystery box game! And no indigo you aren't alone, if tiny tee hasn't done much for a while I drink a full fat coke (which usually I never touch!) and then prod my stomach until he wakes up. And then I complain he's kickimg too hard :)
Have itchy bump but when I scratch it, I get a Toni, which makes me need a weeeeeeeeeeeee.

splodge77 · 15/03/2015 21:29

Hi all, sorry to hear about MIL traumas. I'm pretty lucky in that respect, mine is great with DS & thoughtful with gifts but lives 3 hours away so not around all that often. Gah, I feel like I've suddenly got a lot heavier & more tired. Baby seems to have endless hiccups too. Off for an early night!

Pisghetti · 15/03/2015 21:44

Evening viroids. Had a lovely Japanese meal as chosen by DS for his birthday. He and DP are trying to set up the drum kit he had as his present (electronic obvs - what sort of nutter would buy a proper drum kit for a teenager the day before her baby is due?). I swear my cervix is twingey. Probably wishful thinking. Going to make an RLT and carry on bouncing just in case though.....

TheBooMonster · 15/03/2015 21:59

mmmmm pis Japanese!! Twingey cervix sounds good! I feel like I have a fist in my fanjo or at least it's how I imagine a fist in my fanjo would feel so I am assuming baby is just engaging a bit more! Bounce away! hopefully that Japanese will have helped get things moving Grin

willywallace · 15/03/2015 22:04

Eek Pis twingey cervix? Still two hours left to get baby out before big brother's birthday is over Wink .

Sleep well Splodge.

Feeling a bit ropey after the wine earlier and baby is refusing to sleep. Hmm

RPopz · 15/03/2015 22:08

Bouncy bouncy Pis! Grin

lildottie · 15/03/2015 22:37

I cant keep up with you lot! hope you've all had a lovely mothers day though.

gaggiagirl · 15/03/2015 22:51

Who is next to give birth? Apart from pis?
Come on pis!

Pisghetti · 15/03/2015 22:59

Boo is after me. Or maybe before me if I don't get my skates on. I have no confidence in my uterus knowing what to do without medical intervention.....

LaLaLaaaa · 15/03/2015 23:15

Bounce bounce bounce! waves pom poms

OP posts:
willywallace · 16/03/2015 04:52

Haha I am sure your uterus is fully clued up Pis! Any twinges? Are we getting annoying yet?Wink Grin

splodge77 · 16/03/2015 06:09

Wah up all night with vomiting, diarreah & now raging cystitis to top it off. Counting the hours til docs opens at 8. Feeling sorry for myself! I hope they can give antibios, feels like I'm pissing knives.

TheBooMonster · 16/03/2015 06:38

Ouch splodge! That sounds seriously painful! Hopefully docs can give you something asap!

I'm 4 weeks behind pis or there abouts, if things go wrong at this weeks scan I might jump ahead but it's unlikely, I feel like this baby is never going to come out!!

LaLaLaaaa · 16/03/2015 07:26

Morning!

splodge that's rubbish, get well soon! You poor thing take care of yourself

purple oh no to Paris being a wash out. But do you have to do and see everything for it to be a success? Was it not just nice to be there and get away for a weekend with dh? I'd love to go to Paris!

Dh and I had a lovely but very sensible day yesterday. We measured the nursery up to decide what to buy and what can fit, we put a load of stuff on eBay and revamped our list if stuff we need to do before baby comes. It's getting down to smaller things now as we have been steadily doing things every week. Also went through our money and worked out maternity pay. We are doing ok - as long as we do not go mad on takeaways and dinners out we should be ok for money. It's first time I've ever been able to say that. When I met him I had £25k of personal debt and we've chipped away at it for years. I'm finally down to the last couple of grand that should be got rid of by time baby comes. This doesn't count student loan though!

We are planning to stay a year after baby then move back home.

indigo I've been known to poke, wiggle and jiggle my baby to move! Also drinking something cold or hot gets him wiggling. Dh loves feeling him kick and yesterday was talking to him and got a kick in response Grin

Got to get up. Dreading this week at work it's so busy and I've got another major presentation to give :(

LaLaLaaaa · 16/03/2015 07:39

Could anyone recommend a sleep/bf book please? I don't want to read about routines etc but just theory behind practical techniques, latching on, how to put baby down to sleep etc
