Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 23rd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 40th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

The stats sheet is here

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Mountain do you have an EPU you can ask?

deeplybaffled · 09/03/2015 22:10

Aww, thanks everyone! Yes, relieved, i think. Still not really sinking in.
purple - hope all goes well for you too.

no, despite a lot of double checking by the clinic that we were sure, we decided that we didn't want to find out the flavour. The staff were amazed - genuinely, they must have asked us 3 or 4 times, before finally telling us when we left that they wouldn't be sending off the test for another few hours, so we could call them if we changed our minds Smile

laurenamium · 09/03/2015 22:32

Minilauren, baby Isaac. With his tubes then without! It's manic but I have every intention of coming back just as soon as I get used to juggling DD and Isaac while he's in neonatal!

ChatEnOeuf · 09/03/2015 22:33

Oh Tee that's so sad. My cousin's DH died young of a similar thing, her bli Widowspeaks is heartbreakingly beautiful.

Deeply that's such a relief, and breathe Smile

Mountain can you not lie? 'They told me to call this number to rebook for the NT as it wasn't possible to do at initial scan...' Your hospital do sound like they need a kick up the bottom.

Purple - no, most definitely not! We are both short which is why last night was so weird. Back to normal tonight though, bladder dancing and elbows in the ribs.

La, definitely unisex in both senses. Be aware that even with the newborn insert, baby still has to be at least 3.5kg to use. I'm not a huge fan of SSCs in the early days, they never feel or look that snug.

Yay for bumps, even the bloaty ones Grin

LaLaLaaaa · 09/03/2015 23:08

Awwwww Lauren!!! He's so precious Smile you must be delighted. He looks big even for 5lb

Are you able to hold him?

OP posts:
laurenamium · 09/03/2015 23:42

I've just had my first ever hold Grin ill be back through the night to have a proper catch up!

batfish · 10/03/2015 04:56

deeply what great news you must be so relieved!

Ahh lauren so glad you're getting to spend time with your little man! Will go on computer later and have a look at the pics, bet he is amazing.

willywallace · 10/03/2015 05:25

I can't see at the moment either Lauren, will check out in the morning. Sounds like he's doing really well.

It's SIDS guidelines Dulcet, although I don't think they know the reason why. Surely all second and third children use the same mattresses that their siblings used and it doesn't really say whether that's ok. But I figure if you know there's been no smoke around it or it's not been stored somewhere damp etc then it's more likely to be ok?Confused

BabyWil is wide awake! Envy

laurenamium · 10/03/2015 06:03

Morning viroids! I've had a catch up Smile I think ill just be posting at odd hours for now!

Any news on a baby pis yet?

Purpleball · 10/03/2015 07:04

Yay for cuddles Lauren. Can't see pic as I'm on app but will look at work later

The mattress thing is to do with fumes from babies being sick and is why they recommend a new mattress even for your own children

teejayem · 10/03/2015 07:16

Oh lauren he is adorable! I want to eat him up! And not so small either! So pleased you got cuddles.

So the cats caught a mouse in the hall last night, and mr tee has blamed me for presence of said mouse because I forgot to take the rubbish out for the bin men last week. Nothing to do with him disturbing their nest four weeks ago and not doing anything about it. Hmm. So we aren't speaking. He's gone off on his work trip and I am fantasising about cheeseburgers in bed and plotting to leave dead mice on his pillow when he gets back

LaLaLaaaa · 10/03/2015 07:34

Love that you got to cuddle him at last! Has your dd seen him yet?

How long will he stay in the unit for?

I slept really well - got up twice bursting for wee but otherwise dead to the world. Can't believe how quickly the weeks are going. I have 8 Mondays left at work.

22 weeks today!

LaLaLaaaa · 10/03/2015 07:39

Pis...get bouncing...you're next!

Boo - you'll not be long behind!!!

Fleurchamp · 10/03/2015 08:03

Aww Lauren he's lovely!

tee I think we have mice too ( am praying it's not rats) - we had our garden done last year and the gardener told us he has disturbed a nest and that we should block up any small holes into the house. It's a victorian house though and has more holes than Swiss cheese Sad. The kick board fell off in our kitchen and there were definite "signs"

I can't believe how quickly time is going. I am 21 weeks and have 13 working weeks left, plus 4 lots of bank holidays so, pretty much, 60 working days left. Yikes.

I weighed myself today 12lbs on so far, I think that's ok - aiming for no more than 2 stone.

minimooo · 10/03/2015 08:35

Ahh, lauren, he's gorgeous! Glad you've managed to have a cuddle. Hope you're feeling ok chick xx

Good news deeply, you must be so relieved Smile good for you sticking to your guns and staying team yellow! I wish I could have waited to find out at the birth, but I'm just far too impatient!

LaLaLaaaa · 10/03/2015 08:52

fleur best thing to do is remove all access to food - sweep up any crumbs, make sure food is in containers they can't access and block up holes. If there is no food they will move on.

Pisghetti · 10/03/2015 09:22

Tee I'm so sorry about your friend - that's just awful.

Lauren that's a very well cooked baby! Well done!

No action on the BabyPis front sigh

Wow that was some well timed dressing - put a top on about two minutes ago and now there's a bloke in a cherry picker outside the bedroom window! Think he's working on the telegraph pole.... Got a niggly sore throat. I'd better not have picked up DS' lurgy as we're heading out for a friend's birthday meal tonight.

DP found a load of signs in the loft but we laid traps and caught nothing so probably nothing there now.

gaggiagirl · 10/03/2015 09:32

Lauren enjoy those cuddles!
I have D&V.
DD has D&V.
I literally cannot look after her. I've vommed myself to tears.

Pisghetti · 10/03/2015 09:40

H Gaggia you poor thing Sad is there anyone who can help you out? Hope she's cleared everything out so she can just sleep now and you can get some rest.

LaLaLaaaa · 10/03/2015 09:42

Oh no! That sounds horrendous you poor thing :(

OP posts:
Fleurchamp · 10/03/2015 09:51

Eeek gaggia sounds horrific. Can anyone give you a hand?

Good news deeply I really am a fan of the harmony test.

Thanks for the advice la I am the queen of the Kilner jar and so food is all sealed, I swept and hoovered this morning and so hope there are no crumbs about. Will just have to monitor and possibly get a cat Grin

gaggiagirl · 10/03/2015 10:44

DDs dad has just taken her away. She is very jolly and enjoyed the novelty of it all.
I was puking myself inside out and she was pulling my dressing gown saying 'why you being sick for?'
I'm going back to bed to die in peace.

Fattycow · 10/03/2015 11:02

Lauren, he is gorgeous!

RPopz · 10/03/2015 11:05

Eeek gaggia Get well soon x

Going on web to look a baby Isaac! Smile

Fattycow · 10/03/2015 11:06

willy, I don't know anyone who used the same mattress for more than one baby. Even if they are siblings, everyone I know always gets a new one.
