Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 23rd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 40th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

The stats sheet is here

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Ugh my boobs are obscene. 34G at the mo so lord knows what they'll be like when my milk comes in. Desperately slapping on the bio-oil! Loving the bump pics & name discussions. DP & I cannot agree on a middle name at all but think we're going with Jem as a first name. Happy sat evenings all. I am lying on sofa & think I'm gonna need a crane to get me off it.

LaLaLaaaa · 07/03/2015 22:31

Ooh Jem! That's a new one, it's nice Grin

The itchy nips are killing me

Now I want galaxy...

DulcetMoans · 07/03/2015 23:02

I had mini eggs. Didn't finish the pack but it was close...

I got some nipple soothing balm in asda la, in case that helps? Helps me a bit. Impressive norks though!

How do you find bio oil splodge? I've heard good things but I'm not using anything yet - I know I should!

Just don't look gaggia! Wink That's my approach with the scales. Jokes obvs. Don't hate yourself, that's never fun. Your body's is just doing what it needs to and it's never as bad as we think.

Having said that... What about dry skin viroids? My hair is amazing but my clothes are filled with shedding skin every day!

laurenamium · 08/03/2015 02:05

I'm just posting from hospital again Sad having contractions and they're trying to stop them with codeine. Just waiting on the consultant coming over to discuss next steps with me! Theyve sent DP home Sad

I'm 34GG currently and also hating the boobage!

laurenamium · 08/03/2015 03:06

Contractions are getting worse and more frequent...I think there might be a baby here soon!

LaLaLaaaa · 08/03/2015 03:55

Hey lovely, Try to stay as calm as you can, you're in the best place. Is dp coming back if they are getting closer together?

You've done really well keeping it together after a very difficult week. Try to hold your nerve as the calmer you are the calmer baby will be.

We are here - wil will no doubt be along soon and I can't sleep so can keep you company xxx

batfish · 08/03/2015 04:35

Thinking of you Lauren, if baby comes now then all will be fine, you're in the right place and you will be well taken care of. Hope you are OK!

willywallace · 08/03/2015 04:44

You're definitely in the best place. Keeping everything crossed for you. La is right, although it's scary just try to focus on what you have to do and don't panic (like I did in labour. Went bonkers at the pushing stage).

I hope either they've stopped things for now or that you already have a lovely healthy baby boy. Thanks Thanks

LaLaLaaaa · 08/03/2015 04:51

Is it sad that I can predict when viroids will be awake? Forgot about you though sorry bat, I should have known you'd not be far behind at this time of morning!

Thinking of you Lauren and hoping you are either asleep or we will soon hear that your little boy is here safely xxxx Flowers

willywallace · 08/03/2015 05:17

Ha think it's more that I'm awake most of the night La. We're back to newborn sleep patterns after getting this thing put on.

laurenamium · 08/03/2015 05:28

Aw thanks viroids! I'm still in delivery suite and still contracting! No babies yet!

batfish · 08/03/2015 06:10

Haha it's ok la you're forgiven - it is only because Sunday is a working day here, usually I would never in a million years be up before 10am on a weekend! Am sure my lie in days are numbered though which makes me very sad!

DulcetMoans · 08/03/2015 06:59

Oh lauren, keep calm (as calm as you can be in labour anyway!) The hospital staff are all there to help you and get you through. They have everything you and baby need! Are you in pain as well or does the codeine help stop that? Hope DP will be there again soon, horrible to be on your own if you are scared.

willywallace · 08/03/2015 08:12

Yes hope DP is there now Lauren.

I think it's quite easy to lie in with a baby Bat. My bundle of joy will happily snooze at 8am but just not during the frigging night. Both baby and toddler are full of the cold - just to add joy to my day. Although silver linings: we seem to have your sun from yesterday.

ChatEnOeuf · 08/03/2015 08:12

Eek, Lauren hope you're OK. I didn't think that codeine stopped contractions, though I'm not sure once your waters have gone how much value there is in doing that anyway. These babies have no respect for the rule book and come when they decide to. Hopefully with a few days of steroids behind you, it'll be a straightforward neonatal stay. He'll definitely need antibiotics at least. Stay calm, the neonatal team will almost certainly bring your little one over to see you before taking him off to the unit. See him as soon as you're able to and get lots of skin-to-skin as soon as he's well enough. You'll need to express some milk for him at first (probably) too so get the MWs to help.

Not sure I'd cope with an F cup, C/D is frightening enough - topped out at a 32E when BF last time around, big change from a tiny A!

LaLaLaaaa · 08/03/2015 08:23

Hope you're ok Lauren xx

I feel horrendous worst nights sleep in ages.

OP posts:
willywallace · 08/03/2015 08:31

Me too La, feel your pain. At least you don't have to work today I hope?

DulcetMoans · 08/03/2015 08:35

What I don't understand is how we can be tired but then wake up at 6am. I was so look forward to a relaxing weekend and lay ins but I just can't stay asleep!

Purpleball · 08/03/2015 08:45

Hope you're ok Lauren

I managed a lie in til 8:30 today probably because I had the bed to myself and no DH snoring. We had a row before bed and he slept on the sofa - we never row but my hormones got the better of me. He won't argue back he just clams up or tells me to fuck off - niiiice!
Good job it's rare or I would do!
I was being unreasonable though and he'd had a few beers - never a good combo!

I'm still an E but not for much longer!

minimooo · 08/03/2015 08:56

Thinking of you lauren. Like the others have already said, you're in the best place and you'll both be looked after really well. Is dp with you now? Flowers

I get the same thing dulcet! I just can't stay asleep after about 6.30/7 even if I'm exhausted. Frustrating.

My dreams are getting seriously weird....I dreamt I was a penguin last night. And that I could change colour. Where the hell did that come from?!

My boobage feels enormous - I've gone from a 32a to a 34d already, and they're still growing. I really need a 36e now I think. I've got awful stretch marks on them and have started leaking - how glamorous!

Purpleball · 08/03/2015 09:43

Yikes to leaking....something to look forward to!

DH very apologetic now. So he bloody should be!

LaLaLaaaa · 08/03/2015 09:48

You dreamt you were a penguin ??

I had a weird dream where my female mate tried to snog me then my male mate proposed. Weird. I'm the same I can't sleep past certain point then I'm knackered.

I don't have a newborn to look after though wil so I'll stop moaning!

We are off home today, going to swing past boots first to look at baby stuff and I'm picking up a papasan chair 2nd hand (gumtree) on way!!!

Woohoo!

OP posts:
LaLaLaaaa · 08/03/2015 09:48

Leaking???

OP posts:
LaLaLaaaa · 08/03/2015 09:58

Can I ask about carriers? I've been given a baby bjorn free, but now I'm worried as I've heard they're not good for baby leg position.

I've got a sling too which I'm going to learn to use, but want a carrier for dh to use also

OP posts:
minimooo · 08/03/2015 10:03

Yay for the papasan chair! Love those.

Yep a penguin...I have no idea which part of my brain decided to make that up. It was really surreal. My dh was a penguin too.

Blush maybe the leaking comment was a but tmi in retrospect, sorry girls! I keep getting damp patches on bras and t-shirts. Might need to get some breast pads... Actually, boo I think I remember you got some reusable breast pads? Are they any good? Do you mind me asking where you got them from?
