Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 23rd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 40th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

The stats sheet is here

So, roll call below please, viroids!

I know what you mean dulcet! I'm OCD about 2 syllable names. My animals all have 2 syllables. Oh dear. Perhaps I should stick with Aidan.

la I was systematically covered in wax during my seeing to I ended up having to come home and have a hot soak and a scrub as clothes fluff had stuck to me by the time I got home, still have wax in my eyebrows! I assumed that was normal? Blush

On the Mothers Day subject I normally get a card and a pack of haribo for mothers day, so ladies, I wouldn't hold your breath! Might be worth sending partners a wish list for them to ignore draw inspiration from!

Purpleball · 07/03/2015 08:44

I've been told I don't qualify for Mother's Day either Sad

La I love your mammoth posts! Speakeasy and cocktails sound fab.

I don't remember what everyone said long enough to respond in a post!

My boobs have expanded and bra band is tight. No time for shopping though. We've a busy weekend and I'm away with work tomorrow til weds. Then we're off to Paris on Friday for our wedding anniversary weekend.
Although thinking about it I'm working quite near Glasgow Fort, I could see if I can get something there after work.

Ladies I'm loving your bump pics, being large to start with I don't think I'll have a bump as such. I seem to be just expanding but losing weight everywhere else which is no bad thing. I'm sure it's down to lack of wine!

Wil I hope you get some answers and a plan soon....and also some sleep as that won't make anything any better. There's plenty of time for eating healthy later Smile

Pis I'm excited about your plug! Keep us posted Smile

Whatever happened to weekend lie ins, I can't seem to sleep in anymore...but DH can!

laurenamium · 07/03/2015 08:46

That bar sounds amazing la! Glad you had a lovely time!

I've made it to 33 weeks Grin they've said they will induce/ do a section at 34 weeks if there's an infection in tomorrow's bloods or if the scan a week on Monday (34+2) shows that he hasn't grown well again!

Loving all of the bump pics!

Pisghetti · 07/03/2015 08:47

You ladies need a new salon! La if you're back in Cardiff anytime I would recommend Madame wax in the town centre. I get a 'Roxy' (short back and sides) but they specialise in Hollywood waxes if that's your thing. Slightly pricier than some (I pay £22) but she does a really good job. Boo I have never has wax in my eyebrows after a bikini wax! That's just poor aim!

Right I should think about getting upright to see if gravity can help me out. Practised with the TENS machine last night. Feels weird. Told DP about the show too. He was less freaked out than I thought and suggested we should practise fitting the car seat. He's let me stay in bed this morning and brought me a cuppa. Luffs him Grin

Pisghetti · 07/03/2015 08:52

Boo to mean partners Angry you're a mum from the moment you see that second line appear!

purple if your cups are ok and it's just the strap that's tight you can get extenders which will help - you can probably order online as well. Helpful for after the birth as well - I found my back size increased in pregnancy and stayed higher for years after DS. They open your ribs out Shock

TheBooMonster · 07/03/2015 08:53

Oh pis she did do my eyebrows, and my legs whilst I was there, for £47 she could do anything I wanted, I had planned to get her to do the bump fluff and my arms too just for value for money, but I'd had enough of the pain!

DulcetMoans · 07/03/2015 09:03

Lay ins are a thing of the past now purple. We are knackered, really looking forward to a lay in and then was up earlier than the work alarm! Confused

It's weird la and not sure if it's actually that bad a thing to have the single syllable, names get shortened anyway! But it's on my mind.

If bloods and scan are ok will they let you just carry on lauren?

Not even going to ask about the Mother's Day thing, I know the answer and I'm ok with that. Is it soon then? (Mother-less so don't keep up with these things!)

laurenamium · 07/03/2015 09:22

I like single syllable names la, prefer Max to jack but both are lovely!

dulcet I think if everything is okay with bloods and scan they'll let me carry on until 36 weeks, with twice a week trace and bloods done. They won't let me go further than 36 weeks even if everything is perfect. It depends on the consultant I see on the day, they all differ in opinions between 34 and 36 weeks!

TheBooMonster · 07/03/2015 09:50

it's next weekend dulcet it's one of the many things I seem to be in charge of in our house, as I'd feel really uncomfortable getting something for my mum but not getting anything for my MiL and DH can't be trusted to actually sort something out, she'd be furious if he got her haribo!!

Purpleball · 07/03/2015 09:51

I like Max but it's my sisters dogs name. Sorry La
I have a friend called Ben who used to get teased for having a dogs name too.

What about Harrison, shortened to Harry?

We've got a boring single syllable surname so I'm thinking 2 syllable names but nothing in the top ten babies names and nothing Chavvy.

willywallace · 07/03/2015 10:04

Fx for 36 weeks Lauren. Are you really as calm as you seem?

It's next weekend Dulcet. My family are usually quite good about getting me a wee something to make up for MrWil's blatant disregardGrin

I really like Jack but it's v popular if that would bother you. I prefer Maximillian to Maxwell and Max is nice but would sound more toothpaste than Dulux to me although I think after knowing someone for five minutes you don't think about those things anyway. I love Aiden though. I don't think there's anything wrong with a short punchy name although I get what you mean. I worried that baby wil's name was too short which is why I used a long middle name.

Sorry I haven't been very clear. It's because I worry about being outed. She has had the thing fitted already. It's not really too bad except she cries all the time. But I imagine that may be more to do with needing her reflux medicine adjusted but the buggers are making me wait until Monday for that. And she's back to not sleeping. Though someone has recommended a sleeping bag I can get which just swaddles the arms so I'm going to see if that helps. The worst thing is that they're also going to investigate a few related things. So of course I did a Bat and started googling and got myself all in a panic. Google need to develop software that blocks paranoid people from using the facility.

Indigoblue2 · 07/03/2015 10:12

I'm deffo feeling movement! Thanks for sharing the excitement viroids! dulcet you've lost 5 weeks with the baby brain, I'm 17+1 now Blush Grin

La I prefer Jack as well. I do like Max as a short name but agree with the coffee part for Maxwell. Jack is one of the most popular names which wouldn't bother me (I want lewis which is in the same vein, but am banned), but something to bear in mind if it would bother you.

Re the waxing, ladies you need a new salon!!! I agree with pis. I get a Hollywood, legs, armpits, eyebrows and its £29. My beautician offers two types of wax, the strips or ones where the wax itself goes hard and she peels that off. I normally have the strips as they are quicker, but if you are preggo she offers the other ones which are even nicer, but take longer. I never ever get sore from being waxed. And I never have left over wax on me. How many strips did she use boo to do your bikini? Mine uses quite a lot so you aren't yanking off loads in one go. My friend used to go to someone else and she took about three strips to do her whole foof and apparently it was agony! She now goes to my salon and its painless.

I wonder who's going to win the race between lauren and pis, hopefully pis so lauren can cook hers for the maximum time! Seeing the plug is good news, GX she comes asap pis and yo can get the MLU.

Indigoblue2 · 07/03/2015 10:16

Oh X post with wil.

Hooyah wil! My friends baby had reflux and apparently has a tongue tie too, the chiro said they can be connected? I imagine by having a poorer suck and taking in air or something. I don't remember you mentioning that for microwil though so probably not relevant

DulcetMoans · 07/03/2015 10:24

Oh didn't mean you were 12 wks indigo, just meant I am pretty sure I felt it early so completely possible you are. Weird isn't it!

Oh wil, no to google. It's not your friend! Do you get some follow up appointments?

With you on being in charge of all the house things boo. Good job you all told me when it is as will need a card for MIL. She's all about cards!

TheBooMonster · 07/03/2015 10:34

indigo It felt like she used 100 she was defiantly using small strips, and tbh I'd have much preferred she used giant ones and got it off as quick as possible. I think perhaps I should have taken baby steps, I've only ever had my eyebrows done before! Funnily enough it's the cheapest salon in the city, everywhere else would have changed almost twice as much for what I had!

fx they let you cook till 36 weeks lauren!

LaLaLaaaa · 07/03/2015 11:00

Ooh purple Paris you lucky thing!!! I know Glasgow fort very well, I didn't realise you were a fellow scot? Or are you just working there?

I was out of normal bras at 8 weeks. Maternity ones are so much more comfortable, I had been feeling like I was cut in half.

Dh has just gone out to buy swim trunks because he forgot his. I'm lying down after an epic hotel breakfast. Felt baby completely turn over earlier, so odd!

lauren 34 weeks is good! Keeping everything crossed for you. How are you feeling about it?

pis squeee! Pom poms are out in readiness. Yes it might be an idea to get car seat fitted, just in case. I still need to get the isofix thing. Can't afford it just now.

We're trying out Max on the bump, to see of we get used to it. I think jack might make me cringe a bit as it sounds like we are being groupies.
My bro is calling his Harrison if it's a boy so that's out unfortunately. I still like Ben. I love Charlie but it's our cat's name! I think Jackson is a bit too American and yes jack is a bit too common! God this is hard!!!

Lauren vs pis, who will be first...

wil how long does it stay on for?

batfish · 07/03/2015 11:02

Yayyyyyy all fine, I can't tell you how relieved I am!! Saw a teeny little arm and everything, crazy. 2.5cm long. Thank you for the support and for putting up with my craziness, I'll try to relax now!

LaLaLaaaa · 07/03/2015 11:06

Yay bat yay!!!

DulcetMoans · 07/03/2015 11:18

Great news bat! Any photos??

willywallace · 07/03/2015 11:18

Hurrah Bat! So pleased for you.

Stays on for 12 weeks La. And lots of appointments which is a bit tricky as it's not that easy to get to.

God I must stop eating bourbons.

Indigoblue2 · 07/03/2015 11:28

Ah dulcet got you, sorry, so it's me with baby brain!!Smile

Indigoblue2 · 07/03/2015 11:48

Aww bat that's amazing news!!

laurenamium · 07/03/2015 12:04

pis needs to go first it would be rude for me to push in Grin

I'm not at all calm, I keep going from calm to panicky. And I'm spending too much time on google!

bat excellent news Grin

teejayem · 07/03/2015 12:05

Aww brill news bat!
Front runner in our names list at the moment is Jax la which is kind of a mash up between the two :) we aren't committing till he turns up tho..

I either need a new epilator or my pregnant body hair is just extra stubborn, was 'mowing' bottom half of bump this morning and it's barely taken anything off! And it hurt like a mofo. Maybe I need to resort to wax too.
