anyone else pregnant after a c section and desperately hoping for a vbac? I can't even acknowledge the chance of another c section. I'll be doing everything I possibly can to get my vbac!

I'm actually really pleased (selfishly) to see how many people on here had an emcs with previous DC. My other bus I was in the minority and really felt like I'd missed out. I will be insisting on requesting an elcs for a few reasons but good luck with your vbac request twobees I'm sure you won't have a problem.

misscarter... I had bleeding all last week, intermittently... red and pink... the midwife said I could have it monthly or it could be hormonal and was very common - it if is with cramps then you have more to worry about BAD cramps that is. FX it improves, yesterday was first day yet without it( and today). I found it scary too!

Just sick again... after scoffing pasta... I just needed to eat something stodgy.. but perhaps too much at one time. kinda my fault. Worried about vits not staying in my system!

I am scared I will be sick on commute ..... tubes are so awful!

Fkips · 16/03/2015 14:19

Hello hello can I join this thread please! Got my BFP this weekend after 9 months of trying, first baby for me and DH. Excited to get the BFP but trying not to get too carried away incase it doesn't stay but hard not to look forward to due dates etc even though it is apparently only the size of a sesame seed! Any advice on how to not get too excited??

LadyStark · 16/03/2015 14:25

I had an emcs last time too, after being in labour for daaays.

I'm the reverse though, I couldn't bear the thought of a VBAC so hoping they agree to an elective without too much of a problem.

tootsroots · 16/03/2015 14:49

Welcome Fkips... no idea how to mitigate the excitement sorry!!!!Enjoy it :)

TwoBeesInTheHive · 16/03/2015 14:55

I had a vaginal birth with my dd (although still in theatre, forceps and big episiotomy) so I'm hoping the fact that I've given birth vaginally previously will work in my favour. if any of you are unsure on what the risks of vbac are (I was, I thought I HAD to have a c section again and that probably would have stopped me having more kids) there is a really great vbac support group on fb with alot of information. we should all get to choose what's right for us and have support either way. emcs are horrible and I hope everyone gets the healing experience that they need this time round Smile

Just had our first scan. The little mite looks gorgeous!!! We saw and heard his/her heart beat going THUMP THUMP THUMP! firmly implanted in a cosy sac, surrounded by amniotic fluid, at the heart of my womb and yes, there's only one in there! The heartbeat could be seen perfectly and the sonographer also put on the audio to let us hear him/her thumping away ?? measurng just right at 6 plus 3 here the bean is!

Ooo well done Focus. Was that a private scan? I can't remember.

KnitFastDieWarm · 16/03/2015 15:46

Oh Focus that is amazing! I didn't know you could get a proper image/heartbeat at 6 weeks! DH is desperate to have an early scan, he's so nervous bless him!

Did you get it done privately?

Focusfocus · 16/03/2015 15:46

Yes private at the verulam clinic I'n st albans. Was 75 quid well spent!

Focusfocus · 16/03/2015 15:48

It took no time to show up at all and the heart flicker was unmissable. The audio went thumpity thump and it was all abdominal I.e. No dildo cam. DH is almost I tears, bless him, I am going to wee now, think later.

AmandaMae · 16/03/2015 16:13

Fab news, focus! Best £75 you've ever spent, I bet!

FlossyLil · 16/03/2015 16:28

Thinking of you Kep Flowers and hugs

wheresmybump · 16/03/2015 18:36

Hi everyone hope you don't mind me joining. i'm due 16/11 with number 4 unfortunately i've had 2 mcs one last august and an one on the 9th feb so i'm shocked to find out im expecting already and praying this one sticks.
I don't really want to tell anyone until i get past 8 weeks but i could do with somewhere to come and talk xx

mrstothemr · 16/03/2015 19:50

I love all these heartbeat stories... Really hope we get to see one when we got for a nearly scan next week.

Anyone else feeling alternately peed off and upset? Takes so little to make my eyes well right now. And not telling dh about his (currently) irritating foibles is almost beyond me...

stace1986 · 16/03/2015 19:55

Mrstothemr I am feeling upset/annoyed in equal measure. The smallest thing on even the tv is making me well up! OH has definitely felt my grumpyness today, everything and anything is annoying me!

mrstothemr · 16/03/2015 20:29

I'm so glad I'm not alone!

It wouldn't be so bad but I can't walk past the mess /shoes out /crumbs all over the floor... Hoping I can hold my tongue till the part of pregnancy where I just have to sit down (and ignore it /delegate more) listens to dh washing up and tidying, feels a bit bad

reb2g08 · 16/03/2015 21:24

Yep I am the same. Been feeling waves of sickness all day but not actually being sick and crying at everything! Booked in with midwife for booking appointment week 10. Got to go and have screening blood test.

Am bit worried as I my blood is Rh- and DH is Rh+ I read that can be bad- anyone got any experience of this?

ShortLashes · 16/03/2015 21:27

Kep so sorry Flowers Hope we hear from you again.
I've been getting tingly legs every now and then over the last week which has been quite odd and only today did it occur to me it might be pregnancy-related! Has anyone else experienced this? It's a prickly sensation that lasts a few seconds at a time.
