Thanks so much for sharing and glad you got a prompt reply from NOTH.

I got really dizzy in the shower this morning and had to get out and sit on the floor in the hall! Felt ok after about 5 mins but hope it's nothing to worry about. Have my first GP appointment tomorrow. Are they likely to give me a pregnancy test to confirm? I've run out!

short I got horribly dizzy in my last pg. try having the shower a little bit cooler.

Fab news, ReeRee! What a relief! Hope you are able to relax a little now.

Oh and if you can stomach it, have a glass of water when you get up before you get in the shower to try and make sure you're not dehydrated from overnight (if you can manage food before shower too, so much the better). I did find it improved in the second trimester (at about 20 weeks).

When is/was everyone's first appointment with doctor/ midwife. Called my surgery on Monday and they just took my details and said midwife will be in touch when I am 8/10 weeks. Seems like ages to wait.

Unthought, I went to the docs when I was 3+6 (already had the appointment to check I was ovulating! Clearly I was... Don't always believe your temps) and they referred me to midwives. Got my letter this week and my booking in is at 8+3. Don't know about scan yet.

Hale, I've got my scan this Friday but not until 6pm. Nerves will kick in pretty early that day! Will be 7+6.

I got my booking in appointment with the midwife through today - next Monday morning and it lasts 1.5 hours! Not sure how I'm going to sort that out with work ...

Also got the 12 week scan date - bang on 12 weeks. DH is away cycling that weekend so I'll make him feel guilty for a bit.

Had a lovely low-level nausea day today. A complete turnaround from yesterday, when I was like a cat with a furball.

Orange, I think I'll tell work after my 12 week scan, and definitely after pay rise and bonus day.

Had no idea I'd be back here so soon after trying 3 years for our DS (6 months). We already have our BFP, EDD 11/11/15. Early days but just amazed at that beautiful pink line Xx

I've told my line manager (head teacher) in case I'm ill - I work up a flight of stairs and can't just abandon my class!

Have woken up feeling absolutely crap - feel sick and have had a really upset tummy. Bleugh.

Have first appointment with midwife on 25th March and scan on 16th April!

I've got my booking in appointment (8+4) and scan date (12+6) which makes it feel a lot more real and makes me feel a lot more impatient!

Normal symptoms here - tiredness, food aversion, cramps, mild waves of nausea and general grumpiness! Trying hard not to sound moany because I'm actually delighted by every symptom, they make me feel more pregnant if that makes sense.

But why can't I sleep beyond 5.30am?? The last 4 days I've been wide awake and doesn't seem to make a difference what time I go to bed. Struggling to get through a day at work without coffee or red bull!

Is anyone else trying not to tell people? We live quite far from both families, so it's a little easier. I'm very close to mine, but can't bear too much fussing so quite happy to wait until after our scan. I've told my best friend as we see each other for lunch or coffee most days and she would have guessed. Other than that, I'm loving having a wee secret

Morning ladies. I can't quite believe that I have graduated from the buses. Got my BFP on Monday but have just tested again as today is when AF would have been due. Still berry early days and DH won't let me tell anyone yet which is fair enough. Did anyone else go Google crazy when they found out and start planning the next 9 months?! Wishing you all a happy and healthy 9 months.

I'm 4+1, got BFP yesterday after 12 months ttc - still digesting it!

I'm 36 and expecting DC2 on around the 16th Nov. I live in Sweden so probably won't get a booking appt. until 16 weeks. Not sure what to expect really as I had my last pregnancy in England.
