Stats: winter, 25, baby #3, EDD 01/11

I can cope with pasta and creamy sauce as well (I had a lasagne this weekend, which was lovely). On the other hand, I was craving a McDs plain burger last week (haven't been to a McDs for years) and now the thought of it turns my stomach.

Chips on the other hand: yum, yum, yum!

I haven't got any cravings or nausea! I want some so it feels more real! Might book an early scan...

Phew. Panic over!

Hugs to those with Ms.... I just craved blueberry muffins so made some uber ( it's all relative) healthy ones.....now I feel too sick to eat them!

Evening All.
I have my first GP appointment tomorrow at 5 + 2. Can anyone tell me what to expect? Will there be any examinations or blood tests? Is it worth DH coming too or is it just letting the doc know I'm pregnant so I can get a scan and midwife sorted?

Also, I see a lot of you talking about early scans. Is this something that you can request or do have to pay privately?

Sorry for all the questions - there are so much I don't know!

Orange, my GP appointment was very much a formality. A quick chat about estimated due date, completing the referral form (very quick) and any other questions. Yours might be better - my GP was super rushed. Little point in taking DH/DP (especially if it means time off work). Others may have different experiences though.

Yes, early scans are usually private, although the NHS may scan early if there are any risk factors. Otherwise I think you can book them from about 6/7 weeks privately. They cost about £60-100 depending where you are. I'm in London so a hundred quid for me.

Thank you Crumbelina. DH would have to take time off, so think I'll just go on my own. I'm in Northern Ireland - it seems the private early scans are about £100 here too.

I've got my scan on March 24th, will be 7W3ds. If we see heartbeat and all looks good the will sign off from fertility clinic and book into midwifes. I don't really have any symptoms they all seem to have disappeared except spotty face. Am hoping they appear again soon.

Have been a proper geek and have made us a stats page

I'm on another thread with stats and they put them in the thread title as a link like this, it's quite helpful when you can't remember what someones EDD is etc...

Everyone can edit so if info is wrong or new people come along, they can add themselves. Have just looked at the one I was inspired by and they have columns for all sorts! Location, guess at sex, date of 20w scan etc etc (flashy!)

I've got my booking in on 31st March, at 8+3, then I guess I'll find out when my scan is (if a letter doesn't come before then).

Good one lemon! I couldn't seem to edit it from my Ipad... Is my pregnancy brain kicking in?! I was so tired at work this afternoon, and peeing for England. Hard to believe hormones going so crazy for something so tiny!
