Sadly it's over for me, am miscarrying, after 2 problem free pregnancies and 2 healthy children this is now my 4th mc in a row, so back to square 1. Gutted as thought the medication I had just started would make it a sticky bean. Hope you all have a better journey.

MamaGotABrandNewBag · 08/03/2015 20:29

Glad I'm not the only one with a POAS addiction! I even bought 2 x clear blue digitals today, just so I could see the numbers change. DH thinks I'm mad. He's probably right Grin
Going to book private scan for the end of the month, had one at 7+1 with DC1 and was amazing to see the little heartbeat

MamaGotABrandNewBag · 08/03/2015 20:31

So sorry loopy Flowers

halestone · 08/03/2015 20:35

Really sorry to hear that Loopy and all the best Flowers

NewMrsX · 08/03/2015 21:01

Can I join please? I tested on Weds and got a bfp, 4+4 today I think. I'm really nervous as this is my first pregnancy since my ectopic last year. I'm seeing my go tomorrow who will hopefully refer me for an early scan to check everything is in the right place. In my head my next milestone is 5 weeks as that's when things started to go wrong last time.

This pregnancy feels different already so hoping that's good news. So far I'm very tired and intermittent sore boobs. Oh and insatiable hunger!

Congrats to everyone on your bfp's. Sorry to hear about your miscarriage Loopy Flowers

Welcome newbies, helo team November. hope you are enjoying sunday evening!

Sorry about the next whine fest.

i just had a weekend away with mates, lied so many times, that i was on meds, slimming world and tired, to not drink and not eat my fav food ( dippy eggs , salami, steak red wine, brie, etc) exhausted from it all and suffering from shocking bloating, gas and diarrhoea. Have than burning acid sensation in the back of my throat and even burping . i have never farted or burped EVER in front of DH, i am a little uptight about decorum am a prude about digestion!)

I feel terrible :( took day off work tomorrow to do an fun day with dh but i have asked to just stay in bed as knackered and weepy. i just made DH 'what to expect when you are expecting' he thought it was a shit film and i blubbed through it. i am THAT non glowing woman.

shortlashes i am also peeing so much more than i am drinking!

TakesTwoToTango · 08/03/2015 21:53

So sorry loopy Flowers

Crumbelina · 08/03/2015 22:14

I'm so sorry, Loopy. Sad Take care of yourself.

Crumbelina · 08/03/2015 22:26

Oh Toots, don't apologise for the whine! I found it difficult to get through an evening of non-drinking with friends, let alone a whole weekend! I can't wait for the glow (if it ever comes). At the moment I'm just ... grey.

Just out of interest ladies, can I ask what foods you've really gone off if you're feeling nauseous? I seem to have a complete aversion to vegetables.

roughtyping · 08/03/2015 22:41

So sorry loopy Flowers

Welcome to all the newbies Smile

Had my first 'I'm going to hurl' moment today in tesco. Also in tesco, I cried because DH took too long to choose which cooked chicken he wanted. Think hormones are all over the place. Also had to write 14 report cards today Shock but done now. About to go for a bath. Need to phone the midwife tomorrow!

NewMrsX · 08/03/2015 23:16

Has anyone else started moisturising yet? I've been doing belly/bum/boobs/thighs every morning and night.

I know if you're going to get stretch marks you'll get them regardless but it can't hurt to be well moisturised right? I'm hoping it may reduce the appearance of any I do get

GotTheKey · 09/03/2015 06:08

Crumbelina: I don't have any food aversions as yet but have been very hungry and needing to eat as soon as I feel it.

New: good shout about moisturising, I'm going to start.

I've woken up early, AGAIN. boobs aren't very sore today though :( is that normal?! I want symptoms to reassure me!!

Focusfocus · 09/03/2015 06:37

Yep, am moisturising with my homemade body butter twice a day, recipe posted up this thread :)

Haven't had any nausea yet, so a bit worried. My mum never had any at all throughout her pregnancy but am still concerned. My only symptoms are the sore and tender nipples. That's it. Right now I am jealous of folk with nausea!!! Am oretty sure that will change the moment I get it!

reb2g08 · 09/03/2015 06:48

Haven't started moisturising yet but will do. My only symptom is that I am really, really tired. At first I had sore boobs and a bad back but that has gone away now. No nausea or food aversions! Anyone else feeling exhausted?

BowiesJumper · 09/03/2015 07:12

Morning!

So sorry to hear that Loopy, you take care of yourself. I hope the doctors can help you.

I had a tiny bit of pinkish spotting last night so thought 'oh well, this is it', but nothing on the pad I put on or this morning on wiping so hopefully it was just normal spotting again. This is all terrifying. I can't wait for the next 7 weeks to pass!

I don't have nausea, just really tired. And the occasional twinge in my abdomen.

roughtyping · 09/03/2015 07:32

I am also shattered reb

Will def start moisturising. I didn't with my last pregnancy, I put on about 2 stone in 3 months and I am now covered in stretch marks from boobs to knees!

TakesTwoToTango · 09/03/2015 07:41

No symptoms at all here this morning. I'm just going to try and enjoy it while it lasts! When I'm feelIng nauseous, I crave savoury foods. Normally I'm a huge chocoholic!

Good shout on the moisturising, not that I'm certain it makes much difference at least it might make my skin more comfy in the later months.

MamaGotABrandNewBag · 09/03/2015 07:51

I moisturised religiously with my first, still look like a fucking road map haha. Doesn't bother me though

CishAndFips · 09/03/2015 08:16

so sorry to hear that loopy take care of your self. my symptomms so far are nausea, constantly tired, weepy and peeing every 5 mins. started moisturising yesterday although im not convinced it will make a diffwrence.

ReeRee86 · 09/03/2015 09:09

Morning girls!!

Loopy I am so, so sorry to hear your sad news Flowers

Same here Focus about the symptoms. I haven't had any really apart from sensitive nipples and it's hard to stop worrying that something is wrong. There are so many people who have symptomless pregnancies and everything is fine but it's hard when it's happening to you.

Mulligrubs · 09/03/2015 09:09

So sorry Loopy

I don't think moisturising makes any difference at all - with my last pregnancy I moisturised my bump maybe 3 times (I kept forgetting) and I got one stretchmark next to my belly button. You could barely see it and 16 months on you can't see it at all. So don't panic about moisturising - you'll either get them or you won't. I thought for sure I would get loads because as a teenager I got quite a few while I was growing but I was lucky with them during my pregnancy. Fingers crossed it's the same this time around Grin
