I'm the same, really tired but get up early for a wee and I'm wide awake! drinking so much I just have a bottle of water now wherever I go!
other than that I don't feel any different but keep poas to reassure myself I am actually pregnant!

cookie73 · 08/03/2015 09:42

Hello, hope there's a little bit of room for another. Best of luck to everyone who is also in this exciting and scary place - and thanks for your rather reassuring posts so far!
First time for me, older mum (41) and stunned to have BFP sooner than expected - think it's going to be a fireworks baby at 5 Nov. So excited, scared, happy and hopeful. Look forward to sharing the experience with you.

reb2g08 · 08/03/2015 09:44

Room for another one?

Did a digi test yesterday and it says 2-3weeks since conception.
Due date calculator estimates 6th Nov.

Waiting to hear back from midwife for home appointment! Grin

kep1979 · 08/03/2015 10:46

ann I think with my youngest i didn't get sick until 8 weeks - I'm the same though, glad I'm not sick but at the same time wanting all the symptoms to show that everything is going well!

halestone · 08/03/2015 10:47

kep1979 · 08/03/2015 10:57

Welcome to all newcomers Smile

I have been quite good and had two morning not poas Grin - well I did wee on an opk, just to see what happened - was quite interesting as the test line came up twice as dark as the control! I know it's cause HCG is like LH but with some extra twiddles wow I am so technical but it was still interesting i am such a loser

Unthoughtknown · 08/03/2015 11:04

Hi all. Another day of knicker checking beckons Grin. I poas first thing in the morning on a different brand cheapy and while an obvious bfp, it was no darker than yesterday I don't think (shuffles off to fish yesterdays out the bin). I am extremely bloated but no other symptoms yet!

Unthoughtknown · 08/03/2015 11:06

Ps on a completely different note is it okay to eat chorizo?

halestone · 08/03/2015 11:33

I'm not sure actually unknown check the NHS website they usually have a list of things which are unsafe to eat during pregnancy.

Unthoughtknown · 08/03/2015 12:10

Nhs is a bit non-commital about the subject.....but I think it will be fine if it's cooked. Ooof so much to think about!

BowiesJumper · 08/03/2015 12:10

Morning!
I got my 3+ on the cb digital this morning. Hurray!
I also got my appointment letter for my booking in appointment at the end of the month. Eeeek, all real now!!
Just on my way back from a weekend away with lots of friends. Two of them have new babies so lots of baby cuddles!
Two of my closest friends guessed as I wasn't drinking all weekend! Ah well! Ha.

halestone · 08/03/2015 12:41

I would eat it then Unknown. If it doesn't say specifically it must be ok especially as your cooking it.

Have lots of people had people guessing then? I've been lucky so far as no one seems to have guessed.

reb2g08 · 08/03/2015 13:03

When is everyone going to tell people? I am 5+3 I think and don't know who to tell and when! Don't think I can wait til 12 weeks!

feathergirl1 · 08/03/2015 13:07

Hiya everyone,

My God I feel bloody awful! I feel like I've got a grade 1 hangover but without the fun of drinking the night before bleugh :( Can't complain though - I've wanted this for so long!

Halestone no-one has guessed with me but I haven't been out with any friends since I got the bfp. I've told my three best mates and my boss though (as well as our parents) and that's it until 12 weeks.

I've got my booking in appointment 2 weeks weds - exciting! Is anyone going to have all of the screening for Downs etc done?

Crumbelina · 08/03/2015 13:13

Welcome to all the new people - congratulations!

Amanda, I'm so sorry to hear about your friend, I hope youâ??re ok. Sad

I've been a bit quiet, mainly struggling with the nausea. I had to eat a couple of dry cream crackers before I got out of bed this morning. It was a packet of quavers yesterday (oops!).

Still struggling with dinners at the in-laws. We had salmon, potato/celeriac mash and spinach a couple of days ago and the sight of it made me heave! Sad They've followed all my TTC tribulations and so I had to fib and say that I'd been put on Metformin (fertility drug) which is why I'm so queasy. Pretty sure they believe me and I'm determined to hold out until MIL's birthday until we tell them.

We're moving into our house on Friday and I can't wait! PJs and a proper lie down on the sofa - yay!

I'm not feeling as much in the way of symptoms anymore and it's making me nervous. Just frequent urination today. Mild waves of nausea a few days ago but no actual being sick. I keep wondering if I'm actually pregnant Confused

TakesTwoToTango · 08/03/2015 15:41

Amanda I'm sorry about your friend Flowers

feathergirl1 · 08/03/2015 16:19

Amanda, just went back and read through the previous threads. Sorry to hear about your friend. Flowers

UnderEstherMate · 08/03/2015 16:42

Hello! I haven't been on MN For some time but I took my second home-pregnancy test today and had a very solid 2nd line so I needed to share my excitement somewhere! Worked out that I'll be due in early November. This will be DC2 but DD1 is almost seven now do I had forgotten what pregnancy feels like! Are you all as exhausted as I am?

GotTheKey · 08/03/2015 16:54

Sorry about your friend, Amanda x

Under, I am absolutely exhausted in the evening from about 6:30 and then I have been waking up about 7am and feeling intensely hungry and sleepy until about 10am. Have had a few waves of nausea and some mild lower back ache on and off.

Anyone else suffering with the back ache?

TakesTwoToTango · 08/03/2015 17:06

I had a really sore back yesterday got but much better today. Am peeing for Britain though!

4+1 today and just failed to resist the urge to poas again Blush but relieved to see the test line is now stronger than the control line on the FRER and I got a 'Pregnant 2-3' on the CB Digi Grin

GotTheKey · 08/03/2015 18:14

Yippeee! I am 4+4 and did my last test this morning. It came up a lot faster and was a stronger line Grin

ShortLashes · 08/03/2015 20:17

Sounds like lots of people have stockpiled pregnancy tests! I went for a jog this evening and up till now I haven't really experienced sore boobs.... but OMG they were so painful! Thankfully the soreness has died down now. Also had to wee about 5 times in the night despite drinking regular amount of water- what is that about!?
