Yep mulli, glad to know I am not the only one preserving pee sticks. Good sign I'd say, mine too are getting quicker and darker now - have a look!

A tentative hello here, surprise bfp today. All feels very strange...af was due yesterday, took a test this morning as was meant to be drinking tonight. Dp was asleep so was staring at him for ages like a maniac willing him to wake up. Since I have bought some decaf tea, folic acid and more pregnancy tests and......that's about it. Definitely hasn't sunk in yet.....lots of frantic knicker checking, I seem to be getting ludicrous amounts of cm. Lovely. Anyway look forward to chatting with you ladies.

Unthoughtknown, 28, 1st preg, edd 11 November ish?

Unthoughtknown · 07/03/2015 14:37

TakesTwoToTango · 07/03/2015 15:08

Hello all. Glad to see the lines are getting darker all round! Urgh! Was v busy this morning so didn't have breakfast until 10am and I felt/feel so sick. I'll be 4 weeks tomorrow, when my period is due, but I'm starting to feel it already. Am about to try and have a nap and hoping I'll feel better when I wake up.

TakesTwoToTango · 07/03/2015 15:10

(Feel pregnant that it, not feel. Impending AF, I'm not expecting that to turn up given the lines I'm getting!)

TakesTwoToTango · 07/03/2015 15:11

Wow ridiculous typos. I'm going I go to sleep now Blush

TakesTwoToTango · 07/03/2015 15:11

GotTheKey · 07/03/2015 16:28

Hello, please can I join? Got my BFP yesterday and another one today with a stronger line. Feels surreal but exciting!
Feeling hungry and have low level nausea and am really tired.
I too am knicker checking but pleased to see its not just me!! My stats are: 24, First baby, due 11th November time.

Gir1FromMars · 07/03/2015 16:46

Hi all got my bfp abt 2 weeks ago, I'm 6+2 and this is my first ever post on mumsnet! Although I've been a member for a while. Already have a baby girl who will be 2 1/2 in Nov due date is 1st Nov. Feeling pretty sick atm, same as last time but at least I could just loll about then, no chance now. How is everybody else doing?

Hi ladies. Got my bfp yesterday, think I am due 9th November. 2nd child, first is only 7 months old so will have 2 under 18 months Shock
Spacefem says a boy on 12/11, 7lb 2oz.... Guessing not seeing as DC1 was 2lb heavier than that!

orangebud · 08/03/2015 07:16

Morning all. Hope you are all well.
I had my first experience of actually hiding the fact I'm expecting last night. Being a person that really enjoys a tipple or two with friends, it would have been suspicious if I had not had a drink whilst having friend round for dinner. Queue the zero alcohol beer followed Pepsi masquerading as vodka and coke Wink. It got a lot easier the more they drank. Feeling very pleased I kept it hid, but really wanted to blurt it out Smile.

TakesTwoToTango · 08/03/2015 07:28

Ha orange well done on the deception! I also had a boozy dinner last night with friends and hid it but then decided I couldn't keep it a secret so told them! They are my closest friends though Grin

mrscatmad31 · 08/03/2015 07:34

Orange I had to do the same yesterday Smile
was drinking tonic with ice and lemon as I often drink gin and tonic

Sounds like there is a few in the same deceitful boat Smile. I just have to remember to tell them it wasn't alcohol when I finally give them the good news - only 7 weeks to wait - think it mat drive me mad!

AmandaMae · 08/03/2015 08:25

I am really struggling with nausea. I haven't actually been sick yet, but the all-day, all-night feeling that I am just about to throw up is really tedious. Obviously, I am thrilled. This is a good sign that things are going well. Grin But bleurgh. Don't know how I'm going to face work tomorrow.

I told someone last night. During the week, one of our closest friends lost a battle with a brain tumour, and we spent yesterday with his widow, and then had her round for dinner. It was strange that I wasn't drinking, but I also know that in a couple of weeks, at the party following his funeral (he was that kind of man) I won't be able to drink either. I don't think that anyone will accept that I'm on a diet or any other rubbish - they'll all think I'm being a right arse not to join in and do what he would have wanted. So DH and I decided to tell her. She was wonderful, and said that she has really needed some good news. Much as it's super-early (only 6+5) I am feeling more confident after Friday's scan. FX I haven't jinxed it. Which I know is irrational, but you know how it is...

Congrats to the new ladies - you're in good company for gusset patrol and POAS addictions...

CishAndFips · 08/03/2015 08:46

Morning all.

cish I am constantly knackered too, but once a wake up in the morning desperate for a wee I cannot stay in bed, for some bizarre reason I have to get up. This is totally unlike me as I am usually a sloth late sleeper. 'Tis quite annoying.

CishAndFips · 08/03/2015 09:04

Im exactly the same kep frustrating isnt it? annbag i think i was much further on before i had sickness with ds and even then it wasnt constant. I would feel crap for a couple of days then fine for the next few weeks. Friend never got any sickness at all - - bitch--
