I'm going to ring my GP in the morning Annbag and get an appointment. Hopefully he'll prescribe me some although he hates doing it which i can understand but i have never had one of these before so i'm hoping he will.

kep1979 · 04/03/2015 10:19

Morning all,

This morning I FINALLY got my 2-3 weeks on a CB digital.... I would have probably got it a couple of days ago if I'd have waited to use FMU rather than being stupidly impatient. And my ic is near enough as dark as the control. I have two FRER and one ic left, so three more days until I step away from the tests apart from the fact that I know I'll buy another CB digi to see 3+ weeks next week!

Felt nauseous this morning, but forced some porridge down my neck and feeling just a bit bleurgh now. Went to bed at 7pm yesterday, didn't sleep but just needed the rest. Counting the hours until hometime today!

ReeRee86 · 04/03/2015 10:21

Ok girls, just been to the toilet (for the 17th time this morning but we won't talk about that!!) and there was a little brown when I wiped (sorry if TMI)

Obviously, due to my very nervous disposition I am panicking.

What do I do? I don't want to over react it was only very faint, is it pretty common?

wtfishappening · 04/03/2015 10:27

Brown coloured discharge?? Remember brown means old blood so it could have been there since implantation and just decided to come out and scare you.

ReeRee86 · 04/03/2015 10:29

Yes it was very pale brown discharge.
I did have some brown bleeding for about 4 days before I got my BFP so I am hoping it is left over from that!

wtfishappening · 04/03/2015 10:31

I would think it would be that, if your worried at all or you get anymore, phone your local EPAU. They will give you the best advice and might be able to put your mind at rest.

ReeRee86 · 04/03/2015 10:36

Thank you Flowers

I will see how it goes today and then give them a call this afto if I get anymore.

verybookish · 04/03/2015 10:57

Good morning everyone and congratulations babyhector! I had a mini-freak-out when I discovered I was pregnant. I remember imagining romantic ways of telling my partner before it happened but the only thing i could come out with is: you are not shooting blanks. He was very touched.

Annbag - I promised myself that I would not be nervous but I guess it's a bit like trying not to think of a blue elephant (and then inevitably you do think about it).

Crumbelina & Shortlashes. Thanks so much for the reassuring info. Will double check with that due date calculator

Reeree86 - apparently a little bleeding or brown discharge is completely normal. I think you plan of seeing how it goes and then call this afternoon if it happens some more is a good one. Sending you positive vibes!

tootsroots · 04/03/2015 12:16

Hello Team November!! wow so many newbies! This is going to be a lovely club.

I think give us all a few weeks to get over the risk hump (spacefem stats!) and this is going to reduce nervousness and knicker watch. I have sudden damp feeling from time to time and rush to the loo in panic. I have a team of men working for me so i doubt they notice but i am judging myself! That and the GAS ... ugh its shameful. The cramping has all died down now.. phew!

My booking appt letter arrived last night for NEXT WEEK!!! The 12th at 1.30! I had to outright lie to my (female) boss saying it is a follow up to a 'gyny' private issue i had 6 months ago ( cervical ectropian). I also got sent appts for my blood tests and nucral (sp?) scan the following two weeks. I think these will move in all honesty - my booking appt is due to my lmp being 31st Dec, NOT CB opk date of 10th Feb, or the cb digi test saying ( this morning... am an addict) 2-3 weeks. Stupid irreg cycles.so a scan is pointless. or i get to see my egg sac

Now i have my appts, this sh*t has got real!

How are others masking their appts? and how are others partners telling their work they need to join us for the appt?

Today my various apps are saying i am 5 weeks, graduating from poppy seed to either peppercorn or orange pip with 3 layers like a neopolitan cake

might be feeling nausea today or i have convinced myself that i am feeling it- not sure if true but i feel that if i were to pop to the loo i could readily be sick. HOW DO PEOPLE HIDE THIS??

wtfishappening · 04/03/2015 13:28

ReeRee hows it going?

Toots roots i have had some appointments at the EPAU and have told my family i have an eye infection which needed sorting through the hospital. They all seem to have believed me hopefully they won't be upset when they find out i have lied. I never normally lie to them.

Have you seen how Suzanne Shaw announced to her DF and DS? Theres a video on youtube. I thought it was a nice way to remember it.

ReeRee86 · 04/03/2015 14:10

Alright I think, thanks for asking!

I have obvs been to the toilet a billion times and have had a little more brown discharge on wiping but there isn't a lot and it's definitely brown so i'm trying to keep calm. Like I say I did have quite a bit of bleeding in the run up to my BFP so maybe I am just gonna be one of those that has little bleeds.

No cramping though so i'm going to wait it out and see how it goes. I'm sure it's all fine. Keeping positive!!

I'm sure your family won't mind your little white lie wtf it's for a good reason after all!

kep1979 · 04/03/2015 14:44

ReeRee I hope it stops soon for you.

As for appointments, I'm just telling work I'm off to the docs, my boss won't ask 'cause he's scared I'll tell him tmi about lady things (his words not mine). I've had LOADS of appointments over the last two years with the fertility clinic etc, and he didn't even ask what my op was for last August (lap/bystero/ovarian drilling).

I have a few days hols to take before the end of March, so may schedule the early scan for that date - if they'd ever get back to me with availability! Probs going to have it 20 March when I'll be seven weeks - I was going to try to wait until 8 weeks but don't think I can wait that long!

Crumbelina · 04/03/2015 14:55

Ha Kep! I'm the master of secretive appointments too after endless visits to the fertility clinic over the past year - blood tests, scans, HCG ...

CishAndFips · 04/03/2015 15:26

tootsroots I have that damp feeling too. Thought it was just me and going a bit crazy. Tried phoning dr's again today to make an appointment but it just continually rings out. I may have to go in person tomorrow and try and make an appointment that way.

Focusfocus · 04/03/2015 15:39

Brown blood should be ok i think, so don't worry! It's old blood as others have said!

Today's stick pic attached with results from 3:30 pm urine after drinking gallons all day. Fingers crossed everything stays ok for our early scan in two weeks time.

All the best for all the dodging bosses some of you are having to do! Mine is a pain in many ways, but in these terms he is running a department with babies dropping out of every faculty member (I am an academic in a university) so he's totally cool with it and lost track of the babies that were born this last Xmas!

Crumbelina · 04/03/2015 15:41

I've had a few damp alerts - specially when walking outside on a windy day and wearing a dress and tights. I get that cold feeling down below and start to worry until I can get to a loo Smile

I was finally got my hands on some digital tests today! Much prefer to see it as a word in black and white. Said 2-3 weeks since conception so am definitely around 5 weeks which I thought Smile don't know about you guys but seeing it on the digital has made it feel more real for me.

WeePoppy · 04/03/2015 17:24

Hello everyone,

Got my BFP on Monday (but double checked today, just in case Wink ) and it looks like I'm 5 weeks pregnant - due early November 2015. This is my first pregnancy and I am over the moon.

I have made an appointment with my GP for next week and in the meantime, I am trying to read up as much as I can!

kep1979 · 04/03/2015 17:28

Yep Mulligrubs I felt much better seeing the words.... plus DH wouldn't believe any faint lines so had to see the words!

I'm another one with the odd "damp" moment.... I hope they stop soon!

Crumbelina · 04/03/2015 18:26

Welcome WeePoppy and congratulations!

Toots, I have no idea how women hide it. My work loos are awful! The kind where the cubicles have a gap at the bottom and top and look like they're made of chipboard. You can hear absolutely everything. Blush

HopeFull28 · 04/03/2015 18:50

Hi all I'm newly pregnant with my first Smile after trying for 5 long months, not seen my doctor yet but app says due 13th Nov Grin
I'm panicking at every twinge I get and very sore boobs is my 1 symptom. Blush congrats to all Flowers
