Congratulations Mrs!

Just had my first (rushed) appointment with the GP. She agreed with my EDD prediction, but also put my last monthly peiod date on the form. I ovulated later than the usual 14 days so it should mean I get an earlier scan which is good. She took some details, will refer me today and I should hear about the booking in appointment and the scan by the 10 week mark.

One good thing is that the practice offers free NCT courses - I thought they were expensive? Am having a private scan at 10 weeks so (all being ok) I'll sign up then.

Nausea a bit better today - must be due to a better night's sleep. Yesterday was pretty hard going!

Crumbelina · 03/03/2015 09:05

Hope your day gets better, Annbag!

One day at a time is my mantra at the moment ...

BowiesJumper · 03/03/2015 09:24

Wow Mrs congrats! Good on ya.

I keep veering between thinking this will all go wrong as it's so early (4+3) and day dreaming about having a baby. An actual baby! I'm trying to be realistic when those thoughts take over though. We have had name discussions though. Well why not, it's fun!

Happy Tuesday all Smile

Thanks Annbag will look into that.

kep1979 · 03/03/2015 11:41

I am definitely an every day POAS-er..... I'm sure I'll stop before I have the baby. I am trying to wean myself off my CB digi habit, as I scared myself last night by doing one after drinking gallons of water and not holding, and then worried myself because I still only had a 1-2 weeks. I have one left, and I will do it tomorrow with FMU, and hope it's ticked over.

I'm also using ics, which are getting darker every day... so I feel much calmer this morning.

Only 4+4 though.... this is going slowly!!

TakesTwoToTango · 03/03/2015 12:21

Hello November ladies. May I cautiously peep around the door?? I got a very faint positive this morning at 11dpo. AF is not due until later in the week but I had a bit of light spotting last night (implantation bleeding I think) which prompted me to test. Am feeling very very pms-y and crampy so trying to stay level headed about having tested so early. Am also feeling rather panicky about it all, despite the fact this is a very much planned pg Shock Blush

This will (all being well) be dc3 (dc1 is 3.5yrs and dc2 is 1.5yrs). I think I'm due November 14th. Eek!!!

Crumbelina · 03/03/2015 12:35

Bloody hell Annbag, £300-400! I've checked the leaflet and it's definitely NCT, with one session in early pregnancy, six sessions around week 28-32 and one post-natal session. I was going to change practice to one closer to my new house but I won't bother now.

Welcome Takes!

CishAndFips · 03/03/2015 12:36

Congratulations takestwo a lot of us have been having crampy type pains and have been told its normal.

wtfishappening · 03/03/2015 12:38

Hello Everyone Grin please can i also tentively come aboard?

BFP was 20th Feb, had a bleed 21st which lasted 3 days so have been, being checked out at the EPAU. 1st scan showed nothing which was well out from LMP on 5th January. So they did bloods which luckily doubled over 48 hours. I was rescanned today and there is a yolk sac their which has come from my right ovary. I will be rescanned in 2 weeks to see if this bean is still progressing. This is feeling like the longest pregnancy ever already.

I have been watching and reading everything on this thread and the october thread. I didn't want to join in either as i was worried sick. My due date from scan is the 2 November.

I have a Dd who is 2 and is a ball of energy. This is a happy surprise well for me dp doesn't know what to think My pregnancy with Dd involved Hyperemesis which started at 8 weeks so i have my FX that won't be happening again, although i have been vomiting alot this last 24 hours i am putting that down to a chest infection

Sorry for my big post. I hope your all doing well. Winter Thanks i am so sorry for what happened to you and your family losing your Dd. I hope this pregnancy isn't causing you too much worry.

Crumbelina · 03/03/2015 12:55

Welcome aboard wft! We'll keep our fingers crossed for you and I really hope the HG stays away this time!

This is probably one for the first-timers, but my favourite thing I've read this week details baby size for each week. All done via the medium of fruit (and some seeds/grains)

Weeks 3 & 4: Poppy seed
Week 5: Sesame seed
Week 6: Grain of rice
Week 7: Blueberry
Week 8: Raspberry
Week 9: Grape
Week 10: Date
Week 11: Fig
Week 12: Plum
Week 13: Kiwi
Week 14: Peach
Week 15: Pear
Week 16: Avocado

I’ll stop there and will update when we've all progressed a bit more! I'm hopefully going from a grain of rice to a blueberry this week. Smile

Crumbelina · 03/03/2015 12:57

Oh Cish I tried tea but it made me feel queasy! I'll keep going with the ginger and plain food. Smile

CishAndFips · 03/03/2015 13:00

Hmm i think i am a poppy seed

CishAndFips · 03/03/2015 13:02

Really crumbelina isnt it funny how it can work so well for me yet its the opposite for you. Im also discovering that a later breakfast help.

Crumbelina · 03/03/2015 13:10

I guess it's an individual thing Cish Smile. I had to eat a cream cracker before getting out of bed this morning (DH wondered what the munching sound was!) and am pretty much grazing constantly now to fend off the nausea.

BowiesJumper · 03/03/2015 13:43

I did another superdrug cheap test last night and it is darker than last week, hurrah! lol.
I won't test again until my 2nd cb digi on Friday (to see the week go up). It's difficult to resist though isn't it!

I think my doctor is referring me to the midwives so I should get an appointment letter through in the next couple of weeks I guess. Is that how it works?

Focusfocus · 03/03/2015 13:50

Hi bowies

I saw the doc yesterday and it was rather anti climactic. They handed me my green book and said the midwife will call me. Whenever. No advice given except the frolic and don't smoke. I know way more than that! I would quite like letters through the door as I frequently lose my phone and right now it's lying dead somewhere the pup has probably digested and pooped it out

I have been doing the amazon cassanovum tests daily shame on me and looks like the lines getting darker and I confirmed it today with the CB Digital weeks indicator which has gone up from 1-2 to 2-3 since this time last week. It may not mean anything but for what it's worth, good luck for yours! You and I are probably exactly on same timings! I am 4+4! Attached my obsessive pee-stick charting!

WinterBabyof89 · 03/03/2015 14:17

Welcome takestwo and wtf!! Congratulations!! Grin the more he merrier..
wtf you gem - thank you for your kind words.. Smile

We all seem to be a bit nervy on here.. But as time progresses we'll all grow in confidence! Can't wait for the days when we're complaining & want these babies out haha! When that happens somebody must remind us of how panicky we were now & how much we want these little seeds/grains of rice..even when we have leg cramp and can't get comfy in bed!

Yay for the darker tests ladies..

ReeRee86 · 03/03/2015 14:48

Hiya girls!

Wow there's lots of us now!

So I changed my doctors last week and asked the receptionist about booking to see somebody. She tells me that I will be seen at 10 weeks and that the midwife will come to my house for this appointment! Wasn't expecting that! Have to call this week to book when I am on the system.

Also... still worrying! I don't really have any symptoms and am worried that is a bad sign! I have read loads of threads on MN and I know no symptoms doesn't mean there is something wrong but it's hard to believe there is anything in there!

Congratulations to all our new friends and wow username... what a story!!

kep1979 · 03/03/2015 14:51

Welcome takestwo and wtf

Yep this seems a nervy bus! But makes me feel much better less mental

I'll take a pic tonight of my tests so far - minus my cb digis as I took them apart and analysed them to death and then threw them away last night as I was in a mood I'm blaming the hormones
