Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 22nd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 39th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Can you really not have a hot water bottle while pregnant?!? I've had one nearly every evening for the past 2 months! I Googled it before I did but couldn't find anything to say don't. The thing with not being allowed heat is if it raises your core temp (which a hot water bottle doesn't, but things like hot tubs might).
DH wasn't sure if I should be using them but I reassured him because of what Dr Google said. Really hope I haven't damaged baby!

rm I think the danger is if you're putting the hot water bottle directly onto bump (correct me if i'm wrong ladies...) Using a hot water bottle elsewhere is OK I think I'm currently sitting with one lodged between the chair and my lower back

lauren do you mean Maternity Allowance? I applied just after Christmas and heard back from them about 3 weeks later. I think I'm due my first payment next week.

Thanks for the review of the book popz. I think I might buy it as a reference book, but will definitely keep in mind what you've said.

rm I could only find information saying it was safe on my back or legs but not directly to bump so I didn't risk it and had a bath instead. Ill ask the consultant on Monday though when I'm there next!

i couldn't be doing a physical job at this stage either. I"m hobbling about like an old woman & still 8 weeks to go! Good luck for scan La.

willywallace i've got option of EMCS this time as I lost a lot of blood birthing DS plus suffered bladder & bowel prolapse. I'm most worried about the latter - though there's no easy answer as to whether another vaginal birth will do more damage or not - depends on what happens on the day. EMCS does sound nicely calm and controlled but DS's birth was so unmedical I can't quite get my head round being drugged up, paralysed and cut open!

I need to buy a baby monitor. Any recommendations?

ha ha sorry, i hadn't read the last page of posts so mine refers to things people said a page back. oops!
I need to do the MATb1 form too but haven't even got it from midwife yet - forgot to ask last time. I seem to remember they were fairly prompt in sorting it out once I'd submitted it all last time though.

Hello!!!! All good, everything is in the right place and we have a wonderful pic of an impression of the feet as the little monkey kicked me as she was looking!

All organs look good and on target size wise.

We know the sex...I'm not telling anyone that we know that in RL though!

Dropping in to see if any news from Laaaaa...

I waddled in to see the doctor this morning and he started writing out my next prescription and sick note before I'd even taken my coat off and sat down. He said I looked uncomfortable..and said I should remain resting, so I'm signed off for a further two weeks. Having a slight work guilt, but I don't think I'm skiving..hopefully I get my pelvis belt corset thing tomorrow..
