Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 22nd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 39th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Which wall stickers did you get pis? I need to hunt some out for the nursery.

Today I have mostly been wearing baby sick. It's in my hair and everything. Sad

Purpleball · 24/02/2015 23:31

Minimooo that's my favourite pram. I keep wanting to go into mothercare and have a play with it. Let me know how you get on with it

Deeply gx for your harmony test. We've got a NIFTY on Sunday. Hoping for quick results too. Not looking forward to the wait.

Wil I hope you're getting more sleep

Pis I'm excited about your nursery, can you put a pic on FB?

Gliding....welcome and congrats Smile

lildottie · 24/02/2015 23:49

bat finding out my sil was expecting in front of her family and mine before we'd been referred to clinic was much much worse than bff telling me she was pg over coffee. but tbf I knew bff was ttc and that my first ivf was in progress and I was confident of a bfp. my point is the further down the road I've got the easier its become to deal with other ppls upduffedness. it does depend on the relationship you have too. I think email is a good way to tell her, but I would acknowledge her situation/feelings so she understands you have considered her in your way of telling her. depending on how she responds maybe follow up with a phone call a few days/wk later but only mention ur pg if she dies, and don't go on about it even if she does - she's not interested, she's being polite. well she might be a nicer person than me but that would be my position! hope that helps.

deeply sorry you're dealing with the stress of a high risk result. just remember its out of your control, and you don't know if you need to make decisions, so no point worrying about what your decisions would or wouldn't be until you get the harmony results. and stress isn't good for the baby! Thanks

lildottie · 24/02/2015 23:50

bad autocorrect - does, not dies! you don't have to wait to talk about your baby until she dies!

LaLaLaaaa · 25/02/2015 04:39

Awake! Dh is snoring and I'm having a nosebleed and amusing myself with AIBU

LaLaLaaaa · 25/02/2015 04:47

deeply everyone else has already given you much better advice than I can, so I'll just send you a hug! It must be a bit of a shock but hopefully harmony can put your mind at ease.

lauren he sounds like he's being a man child grr!

gaggia cool thank you! I am looking into a pg massage for next weeks trip away but it's £60 for an hour. Is that normal?

I'm looking to buy the 2 way car base. Cheapest I've found is £99. Anyone seen it cheaper? I'm starting to worry about the cost of everything.

mini ooooh posh! Nice buggy :)

indigo I wouldn't buy car seat 2nd hand , not sure about base. My car seat is from a friend but I trust her when she says it's not been in an accident.

We are looking at nursery stickers. Has anyone tried peeling them off. Do they actually peel off without damaging wall?

willywallace · 25/02/2015 04:58

Mine take the paint off La so you may have to do a plaster and paint job on moving. Pg massages are often pretty expensive but probably depends on the price of the place in general.

Really want more sleep but she's just so windy I fear that's it for the night.

teejayem · 25/02/2015 05:31

Awake here too! Payday for me, so I've sat and paid bills various and realised I basically have no money! Confused Now laying in bed worrying about money. Usually have a bit of a buffer for saving etc this month but we've been stung with a couple of nasty bills I could have really done without, (£300 for council tax anyone!!!? - and we don't live in a mansion, the council made an error with a calculation because we moved here part way thru the year, so we have two months of crazy bill) I surrender my season ticket soon tho so that's £400 I claw back each month, but even so. Waaaaah.
We've got wall decal stickers up our stairs - lots and lots of swarming butterflies (took forever to place) some take the paint off, some don't but I think we're resigned to a replant when we leave. Mr tee wants a load of space themed stickers for our nursery, he's already made a scale mobile model of the solar system (!) which is hanging on the ceiling already.

batfish · 25/02/2015 06:07

Thanks lil I'm not sure she is at the stage where she is finding it any easier to hear other people's news so yes it definitely seems that an email is the way to go along with an explanation of why I've told her that way. I am hoping she is feeling a bit positive at the moment as has plans for her next IVF - I can't tell you how much I want it to be a success, they are just the loveliest couple.

deeply I'm so sorry to hear about your scare - as others have said it is still a very low risk but still a shock to hear. Keeping everything crossed for the tests and I am sure that all will be fine, try to keep yourself busy to take your mind off things during the wait.

willywallace · 25/02/2015 07:38

Tee that is so sweet of MrTee. I was considering a space theme if I had a boy and now I don't, I find myself reconsidering. Which is ridiculously sexist. I think it's because MiniWil's room is really girly with woodland creatures on it and then it would be so different. Although MiniWil much prefers cars and stars and such things so it doesn't even suit her.

teejayem · 25/02/2015 07:44

You could sneak in some glow in the dark ceiling stars Wil? I had them in my room at home. And they are still there! Whenever I occasionally stay at mums it's such a huge comfort seeing all my little twinkly stars still there; they must be 20 years old! I think we got them from Jodrell Bank but sure Amazon would have them...

LaLaLaaaa · 25/02/2015 07:46

We are going for animals (surprise surprise!) - gender neutral animals. I am putting aside my scientific accuracy and mixing pandas, monkeys and tigers in the same freeze

laurenamium · 25/02/2015 07:46

la mine took the paint off too, but only little flecks so a quick repaint fixed it Smile

Fleurchamp · 25/02/2015 07:50

deeply my harmony test results came in within 12 days and that was over Christmas and New Year- I would check with the clinic.

GX for you.

I am suffering so badly with my sinuses. Went to the Dr yesterday and he was useless. Basically said I couldn't take anything for it and could just steam etc. (my googling says otherwise but I don't feel I can go against his advice). I have to go back next week if they are still bad as they may be infected.

My head hurts so badly Sad

DulcetMoans · 25/02/2015 07:51

I really want a tree that in corporates shelves like I've seen on Pinterest. Maybe some animals around it. Not sure we have the technical skills for the tree though!

Love the sound of your solar system tee!

willywallace · 25/02/2015 08:01

Ooh link Dulcet?

We are crap at DIY/house stuff, hence the stickers. Someone is getting the baby one of those star projector things so may see what that's like for inspiration.

That's rubbish Fleur, I hate that pain. Hope it pisses off soon.

gaggiagirl · 25/02/2015 08:21

la I think the £60 will be worth every penny. Its totally salon dependant on the price. Its about £20 for one in these parts though. North = cheap!.

fleur have you tried the saline nasal spray? la recommended it and its worked wonders for my nose.

LaLaLaaaa · 25/02/2015 09:29

I think fleur tried the saline spray already and it didn't work. That's annoying fleur! My nose was bleeding all over the place last night

85 working days left and 15 Mondays!!

Pisghetti · 25/02/2015 09:29

I got these ones Wil. They were £8.29 when I bought them so I am slightly dubious as to whether they'll stick.... I'll post a pic when we're done (although we'll still be short on linens)

Someone bought DS one of those star projectors a few years ago. I wonder what that'll be like as a night light.

La that's a lot cheaper than it was when I was looking at it! I think because it's new not many places are doing deals yet. Will there be another sale season before you pop?

OP posts:
willywallace · 25/02/2015 10:44

That's quite a similar theme to what we have on MiniWil's wall Pis. Except ours are very girly pink and purple. Baby's room is blue though so I think will be less girly anyway.

I had a nose bleed yesterday too La. Hope everyone's nasal passages improve soon.

Damn baby clinic is getting in the way of my afternoon plans.

LaLaLaaaa · 25/02/2015 11:07

Ok I'm doing a dulcet..I had a very active baby over weekend and Monday. Last night and so far today - nothing.

The paranoid in me wants to drive home at lunch to check with Doppler.

willywallace · 25/02/2015 11:10

Was just looking on the website I got the stickers from last time. Apparently 'girls' stickers are animals, flowers and butterflies and 'boys' stickers are dinosaurs, transport, space and sea creatures. Angry

LaLaLaaaa · 25/02/2015 11:55

Boo to gender stereotypes! I loved dinosaurs as a child!

willywallace · 25/02/2015 12:00

Sorry La, x-posted. Mini hooya seeing as you've only just started to feel movement at all. I will be a bit sporadic at first Thanks
