Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 21st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 38th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Photo lil! Lots of baby talk this morning then you think? Bet she will be thrilled.

Good luck with all the scans today. Will keep refreshing for updates!

minimooo · 12/02/2015 09:13

Ah, lil, that's lovely Smile when's she due round?

Purplecircle · 12/02/2015 09:21

My boobs are now massive. I thought being a larger person I wouldn't show for ages but I really do.
I spend most of my life in leggings and skater dresses so I'll invest in some maternity leggings. Things on my waist aren't bothering me yet.
If I were a jeans fan they'd be no good

Good luck for the scans todaySmile

LaLaLaaaa · 12/02/2015 09:23

Purple I find dresses with nipped in waist like skater dresses a godsend in first tri! Unfortunately now they no longer fit over my boobs. Asos do mat leggings for cheap

Dying to know how it went lil!

Lauren that sounds fab! Bet it was nice getting out with the girls Grin

willywallace · 12/02/2015 09:25

Aw lovely Lil.

Good luck for all scans xx

lildottie · 12/02/2015 10:01

Will post a pic later on but it was funny. She didnt have her leggings on and couldnt tell if it was good or bad! she was a bit like "but the lines not very dark?" so i had to explain!
I went over and said there's a second line, its a good thing. and she cried and came and hugged me. :)

lildottie · 12/02/2015 10:01

oh and she'd bought me flowers

LaLaLaaaa · 12/02/2015 10:03

Ahhh that's lovely Grin

Pisghetti · 12/02/2015 10:05

Morning viroids. On my last train journey into that there London. Got my BOB badge handy but tbh you'd have to be a fucking idiot not to notice the boulder belly. Should really be working but haven't achieved very much. It's gonna be a helluva day tomorrow trying to get everything done!

That sounds fab Lil! Let us know how she reacted.

Good luck for those with scans today. Great news Bat! Amazing to think there's a heart beating away so early on.

We were working on pelvic floors in Daisy class last night. The instructor was saying 'tense your bottom like you're trying to stop yourself from breaking wind'. Check! 'And now release'. Yeah... No. I love the up stretches as the baby isn't engaged yet so sits very high. Occurred to me last night I should probably just stretch when I'm getting the rib/lung pressure.... D'oh! I think I'm at the same point in the course as you La. She did cervix size (Cheerios to bagel) last week but without props and escalated breathing last night. No rippling cervixes though - just mentally painting 'easy birth' posters. Fell asleep during relaxation again though Blush

Glad you got some time out and feel better Lauren!

Has anyone else read the research on eating dates for bringing on labour on time? It was a tiny study but the results were such that a further study was recommended. I've decided nothing ventured, nothing gained so have been eating six a day since 34 weeks and so far I can confirm that I really fucking hate dates! Still, I really, really, really want to avoid an induction so I can give birth at the MLU so might as well plug away.....

Pisghetti · 12/02/2015 10:07

Ooh x-post! How lively! What was she wearing instead of leggings....?

Pisghetti · 12/02/2015 10:09

Lovely even....

TheBooMonster · 12/02/2015 10:15

Yea I had the early wake ups, then I had hourly wake ups for a pee and drink, but since getting back from the hospital I've been getting up at about 4am and Then sleeping through till DH comes up at 7am to wake me up, not sure how long that will last but it isn't having any effect of how shattered I am in the day!

pis if nothing else those dates will help with any constipation :p I started eyeing up evening primrose oil but summised it would be mostly be messy..

willywallace · 12/02/2015 10:21

Hehe I presume it was supposed to say glasses/lenses. Have a great image of Lil's leggingless mother though Grin .

lildottie · 12/02/2015 10:56

omg i didn't even notice that! No idea where leggings came from. freudian slip maybe! yes it meant to say glasses!!

Fattycow · 12/02/2015 11:10

My boobs have gone from big to ginormous! I cannot wear any of my normal blouses anymore, as the buttons just are nowhere near close-able!

teejayem · 12/02/2015 11:23

Off to the Osteopath this afternoon, fairly sure the escalating feeling of a Barbie-doll-with-dislocated-legs is SPD. Except Barbie dolls don't have foofs, and I obvs do, even if I can't see it. I feel like I've had my legs bent over my head in true JSing style for hours on end. And I totes haven't. I don't think I can bury my head in the sand anymore, I wince when I roll over in bed.

I am tired. :( We had a hideous day at work with redundancies yesterday and I feel emotionally sapped. Added to several very late nights in prep and I just want this week to be over.

Aww lil :) lovely leggingless!

pis I am totes envious. 45ish days left here...

Fx for scans today!

Hi viroids. Can I ask your advice on something?

When I had my booking appt at hosp back in October midwife said I would need a consultant appointment to discuss birth options this time (because I had PPH and suffered ongoing probs due to bladder/bowel prolapse after birth of DS). Never heard anything re appointment so raised it with midwife last week and she said I should see consultant within the next 2 weeks but the diary was full & so they said they'd call me to fix one up ....no phone call so I rang in today and the earliest they can get me a consultant appointment is 25th March when I will be 35 weeks pregnant. I'm worried that this all feelsa bit late?! Do you think I should try and hassle for an earlier appointment or just wait til then? I haven't decided between ELCS and trying to go for natural delivery yet and feel quite stressed about it - Erk!

gaggiagirl · 12/02/2015 12:37

indigo its true I am hard as nails!

mountaingirl01 · 12/02/2015 12:54

Thanks girls :) just got home as have afternoon off for midwife, am liking this!! Dh and I have a dance class and he's taking me out to dinner to take mind off scan later!

TheBooMonster · 12/02/2015 12:58

I would try and see if you can push for something sooner Splodge, especially if you're still deciding between ELCS and a vaginal birth as you'd need to be booked in for the section. Perhaps take the 35 week appointment though and then phone up regularly to see if they've had a cancellation, as the very last thing you want is for that 35 week appointment to go and then find you end up with a later appointment. It's fairly shocking it wasn't flagged up by the medical team that you haven't seen he consultant though!

If it helps, for the PPH I was offered an active 3rd stage, so after delivering the placenta I'll be put on a drip for 3 hours to help contract the uterus, I was advised against an ELCS because of other existing medical conditions, but I'm seeing him next week and am going to bring it up for rediscussion if they decide they're not going to induce me early for IUGR, as I'm starting to really freak out about going into natural labour in a non hospital environment, especially as the past 2 times we've needed to go to delivery it's taken over an hour from me calling delivery to me getting there.

RPopz · 12/02/2015 15:38

Lil that was a fab idea! I also assumed leggings were specs Wink Grin

Indigo - I was also looking forward to labour haha! Don't know if it helped or not... PMA and all that Smile

Totes normal Toast!!

LaLaLaaaa · 12/02/2015 15:53

pis we did escalated breathing on monday with a lavender-scented sheet and biscuit-cutter cervixes last we so i think we're at the same point! I'm the smallest bump in the class as I'm a keen bean and booked in so early :)

I'm not the smallest bump in my fitness class anymore though!

One girl was exercising last night at 41 weeks preggers - 1 week overdue! Bloody hell...

Sorry for those of you having shit days. I'm working from home today and baby is properly not making me feel comfy as I'm on a kitchen chair rather than my nice flexible office chair. Going to hairdresser in a bit to get my hair blondified.

I was thinking of doing a bit of a spring clean on the stats and taking out folk who've disappeared from the fred. What do you think? I've searched MN for Tabby and she doesn't seem to use it anymore. Equally Callipy hasn't been on MN since Oct. That way also we get a better view of who's NEXXXXXT!!!! ;)

LaLaLaaaa · 12/02/2015 15:58

I've checked and they're not on the Fbk group either - whereas Catsofa and Fresh are, so they keep in touch there.

laurenamium · 12/02/2015 16:14

I think that's a good idea la, lets scare pis Wink

I feel like an evil genius, DD is at a birthday party 4-5:30 which is my idea of hell. DP has took her as I was originally supposed to be working until 5. Just as we were leaving to drop them off the parent of the child I'm looking after text to say she would be here about 4:10...I didn't tell DP Grin he would have just let me take DD if I told him and I do all the parties. So I'm sat in a silent house while DP is in party hell and I'm not going to tell him GrinGrin

LaLaLaaaa · 12/02/2015 16:21

That's cunning Lauren...brilliant stuff! You'll have to look frazzled when he gets back to pretend child's only just left!

I think in honour of the amazingness of Red's bfp we should leave Red on until her DD - it was a good memory :)

But then pis...you're next!
