Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 21st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 38th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Purple I was showing at 8 weeks!

Yes def look up classes - these ones are fab, she does loads of stuff to prepare us both for labour (pelvic floor, thighs, bum, back strengthening) and for after birth (weights to build arm muscles). It's tailored for preggers ladies. I was bit shocked at first at the 4kg weights but it makes total sense and now I love that bit!

Lil - perfectly normal! Bras are no longer for enhancing boobs, they are now your 'boulder holders'

You will have fab cleavage though!

Indigoblue2 · 11/02/2015 22:17

Thanks for your birth/pain stories viroids! popz I'm not actually worried about the pain, more intrigued, there's a part of me that's quite looking forward to it moron to see if it is how I expect it to be or worse/better. I just don't want to tear/episiotomy. My mum had three girls (me being the first best) and her midwife for the third told her that you should never tear if you have a good midwife to guide you. I don't know if this is optimistic or totally unrealistic, as it seems to me from hearing birth stories that more folk have stitches than don't. The midwife told my mum that controlling the end part of the birth should reduce the tear rate dramatically though.

gaggia are you sure it's not just that girls called Harriet are had as nails?

Indigoblue2 · 11/02/2015 22:18

lil if I'd have known pregnancy would give me the boobs I'd never had, I'd have got knocked up years ago! Smile

lildottie · 11/02/2015 22:29

its not my boobs, its my belly/abdomen. my boobs are about the sane as usual for post icing, just veinier. they haven't exploded into fiery biscuit tits yet but I have a fait size anyway so I don't want too much more!

lildottie · 11/02/2015 22:30

I'm also not bothered about giving birth. I figure women have done it for centuries, I'm not special!

LaLaLaaaa · 11/02/2015 22:35

Oh...didn't read it properly lil sorry!

Yes, it's your uterus stretching and baby settling in. Drink water, it helps

Indigoblue2 · 11/02/2015 22:41

My gaggia comment would have been funnier if it read "hard" and not "had" as nails damnit.

lildottie · 11/02/2015 22:44

if I drink any more water I'll never get off the loo! lol. just didn't expect to feel it all over! its all very odd! I've also decided my nausea isn't nausea, its reflux!

willywallace · 12/02/2015 01:03

Ooh Lil wait until Mr Lil uses the 'women have been doing it for centuries line' on you. It'll give you the rage then Wink .

I found it hard to control the pushing stage because I freaked out at the pain. Have to say that I found an episiotomy worse than tearing. What also struck me was how it wasn't all over with birth of baby. Still had to keep dealing with pain until placenta was out and stitches done. I got given some pain relief up the bum which really helped with that. The placenta is freaking massive aswell.

Toast85 · 12/02/2015 05:16

Dear aunty viroids,
Sorry, I have another 'is this normal' newbie question...
Since just before my BFP I have been waking up around 4-5 am. Not needing the loo, not uncomfortable or nauseous- just wide a-frickin-wake, and that's it for the night. Doesn't matter if I go to sleep earlier or later.
Is this a hormone thing? If so can anyone explain to my inner goddess science geek what the hell it's all about?
Yours,
Toast

willywallace · 12/02/2015 06:16

Don't know what it's about but totally normal. La and I were always having early morning conversations on here. Will stand you in good stead for getting no more sleep ever when the baby arrives.

LaLaLaaaa · 12/02/2015 06:41

Totally normal toast! From bfp to about week 14 I was awake for 2 hours every night around 2-4. No explanation, just awake.

It helps to not look at phone - looking at phone makes it worse!

LaLaLaaaa · 12/02/2015 06:44

Last night I was reading a book lying on my tummy on bed ok I lie I was in MN on my phone and felt what felt like something flicking me inside. Baby! Obviously not happy being squished!

Dhs sis rang last night. She's pg (remember I said in nov she was starting ttc and it would be typical if she got upduffed straight away?).

Very pleased for her! Although also again big sighs that everyone else seems to just sneeze and get bloody pg!

So now my baby has 2 cousins being born this year - my db and sil in June and my sil in oct!

LaLaLaaaa · 12/02/2015 06:47

oh my god has my sex drive come back in the last few weeks! I'm having crazy sexy dreams every night! I wonder if I can jump dh before he goes to work...I'm working from home today

LaLaLaaaa · 12/02/2015 06:56

Does anyone here believe in the nub/skull theory? Just been reading a thread about it. Based on these my baby is hermaphrodite :) the skull is round and the nub points up!

ChatEnOeuf · 12/02/2015 07:06

Never bought into the whole nub theory, though friends of mine swear by it...different friends, who don't always agree Hmm Grin

Lovely baby movements La!

Think insomnia is hormonal, Toast. Progesterone? Gets the blame for most stuff!

DulcetMoans · 12/02/2015 07:33

Yeah, not sure what the waking up thing is about toast but it's totally normal and we all did it. I am still struggling with sleep actually - prepping us for baby keeping us awake!

Weirdly I can't say I had that kind of stretching lil but it is one I read about in months where I was symptom spotting so know plenty of woman have reported sit up like aches in early pregnancy. Seems normal.

Our instructor is trying to sort out the pregnancy posture - stop you arching your back and instead keep shoulders low and bring the bump forward. I find it really hard but every time she says it I can tell I am already arching my back.

Thought of forceps or episiotomy sound worse than a c section to me! Confused

Indigoblue2 · 12/02/2015 07:51

Good luck today mountain ThanksThanks

LaLaLaaaa · 12/02/2015 07:59

Ooh yes good luck mountain - and chat are you not getting scan today too?

laurenamium · 12/02/2015 08:10

Morning viroids! Good luck today mountain and chat!

I got out for a lovely meal last night with the girls after my melt down at the weekend and I feel so much better for it! Hope every one is okay!

lildottie · 12/02/2015 08:25

morning all. toast the last 3 mornings I've woken before the alarm. granted only 5mins before today and yesterday and half hour the day before but this is unheard of for me. especially as I'm wide awake and it normally takes me a good 45mins to get out of bed!

good luck today for scans mountain and chat. mountain did you say yours is this evening?

damn it time go faster! want it to be 9 when my mum gets here!

willywallace · 12/02/2015 08:42

Have you told her yet Lil?

That sounds lovely Lauren, I'd love a wee girls night out. Really must try expressing and bottle again today before I miss my window of opportunity so I can do such things.

minimooo · 12/02/2015 08:47

So sorry you're having a hard time stoat. We're all here for you if you need to chat, but totally understandable if you'd rather not. Sending you big hugs Flowers

Yep, insomnia is normal preg symptom - I've had it on and off from bfp. It's bloody annoying! However, I have read loads of my book during those boring awake hours. Silver linings and all that!

Hooray for feeling movements la!

I think mini-minimooo is trying to turn head down... She keeps going transverse in the night and then popping back up to breech by morning. Ah well, hopefully she'll get the hang of it soon.

minimooo · 12/02/2015 08:49

Oh, and good luck for scans today chat and mountain!

lildottie · 12/02/2015 08:53

wil I've written on the fridge in magnets "nanny look" then stuck the frer underneath so when she puts her yoghurt in the fridge she will see it!
