Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 21st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 38th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

I'd read the bit about SMP on a facebook antenatal board but just checked it out and I think it is right. See here Lil do you get involved with tax credits at all? I'm really unsure what the situation is there. My earnings are above the tax credit threshold now but will fall below it when my pay drops after the first six weeks of maternity leave. I get enhanced maternity pay which is half salary after six weeks. I can't work out if I can or can't claim tax credits during that time? They're usually calculated on your previous year's earnings but they can take into account a significant change in circumstances (like your income halving...).

RPopz · 11/02/2015 11:28

Oh and Fatty! Smile

fattycow · 11/02/2015 11:30

I'm really counting down the minutes until the scan! I cannot wait to see how much the baby has grown since my scan at 10+6...

LaLaLaaaa · 11/02/2015 11:35

Good luck to stoat, fatty and mountain today - all having scans!!

Looking forward to hearing later from you, I'm sure you will be fine, sending lots of positive thoughts your way xx

what time is it Fatty?

Can't believe you did forceps with no epidural Popz. You definitely win hardcore award.

Anyone have any ideas how to keep a baby awake yet not screaming?

laurenamium · 11/02/2015 11:41

Good luck fatty!

LaLaLaaaa · 11/02/2015 11:49

wil - silly dancing? Other than that I've no idea!

Is that other post spam? Wasn't sure whether to report it..

You're not finding out sex are you fatty? I think you said you're not. I'm still wavering!!!

RPopz · 11/02/2015 11:58

Oh, La - pethidine is just a synthetic version of diamorphine. They are essentially the same thing. Different hospitals use different ones... for cost reasons I imagine.

Rocking, walking... dummy (Shock ) Wil? We have those days sometimes... If he's not stuck to my boob he's crying! Less so as he gets older though. Is she still poorly?

gaggiagirl · 11/02/2015 11:58

I've reported it la.

Fattycow · 11/02/2015 12:03

It is at 15:30 our time, so 14:30 for you lot. And we are indeed not finding out the sex of our little one.

laurenamium · 11/02/2015 12:10

Oh good luck stoat and mountain too! What an exciting day!

willywallace · 11/02/2015 12:37

Hehe to the silly dancing. That would be awesome if that worked. I've given up. She's back asleep. Think it's just reflux Popz. So hard to tell. Doctors tomorrow to discuss.

Ooh La, pros and cons list of finding out? Or just work out when you had sex in relation to ov if it's true that boy sperm is quicker but girl sperm lives longer?
I think it's nice not knowing unless one option is likely to upset you. However the nosy part of me wants to know what you're having Grin .

ZylaB · 11/02/2015 12:57

Good luck for the scans! :)

Purplecircle · 11/02/2015 12:59

Based on when we had sex I think I'm having a girl

You can't salary sacrifice SMP but you can for occupational mat pay

Purplecircle · 11/02/2015 12:59

Oooh good luck fatty Smile

Pisghetti · 11/02/2015 13:05

I'm with Wil - is there a way we can find out but you don't Wink

Pisghetti · 11/02/2015 13:06

Wil DS would fall asleep moments after he started feeding so the midwife told me to blow on his ears and tickle his feet to keep him awake. I wouldn't do it unless he was feeding though - not sure that's what you need it for?

willywallace · 11/02/2015 13:11

Just need it so she doesn't sleep all day and stay awake all night. I can keep her awake for a feed but then it's just straight back to sleep.

teejayem · 11/02/2015 13:17

oooh, exciting day for all the Scanning Viroids! Thinking of you today :) xx

I've been out of the loop for a couple of days .... so a very belated but massive massive congratulations to both Zyla and Lil!!

Quick one as I'm meant to be working. Just had my followup scan, and everything is fine, little heartbeat fluttering away in a blob of otherwise unidentifiable cells. I am so relieved. They put me at 7+1 today, so new EDD is 29th September (for when you next do a stats update la). Its starting to become real.

DulcetMoans · 11/02/2015 13:33

Great news town. Hoping for more positive scan updates later!

You viroids are so clever! Have sent the childcare voucher details over to DH to research as well, the least he can do is read some stuff! Sorry I can't really offer much useful information in return.

One of my colleagues is due tomorrow. I'm excited for her! Although my sweepstake says 18th Feb so needs to keep her legs crossed for a bit.

laurenamium · 11/02/2015 13:43

Excellent news towns!

My changing bag has come Grin I was so excited, DP was giving me Hmm this face! I love it ridiculous amounts already!

Stoatystoat · 11/02/2015 13:44

It didn't go great. It HAS grown since last weeks but it smaller than they would expect and so too small to detect a heart beat. I've got to go back next week and if still nothing, then time to 'call it a day'. Been told to prepare myself for the worst. This is just horrible.

I just don't understand. I feel so pregnant, and what it's all in my head?

laurenamium · 11/02/2015 14:11

Oh I'm sorry stoat, could it be that you are just not as far on as you thought you were as it has grown? It's definitely not all in your head as there's something there!
