Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 21st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 38th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

eek! I mised Zyla's news. Congratulations, she is scrumptious! Ah what a relief after all that worry. Hope you get home soon.

Anyone else ever get sore spot at top of bump? - feels almost like sunburn. Weird. Massive penis dreams sound exciting. My rude dreams seem to have disappeared unfortunately. Now I'm just getting anxiety ones - not so much fun!

minimooo · 10/02/2015 09:21

Just caught up with thread (not been on here since Saturday) and I've missed loads!

Massive congrats lil! so exciting!

Also massive congrats to zyla! She's such a cutie. Glad you got to stay together and hope you can get home soon. Great that you're both doing so well.

purple I've decided on the silver cross pioneer too! It looks fab doesn't it? I'm going to try and order it this week because it seems to be out of stock everywhere I've looked. Have you found it anywhere in stock?

la so nice you're feeling kicks - how exciting!

Hope everyone else is ok? My mind is bamboozled after reading 4 pages of posts, I can't remember everyone's news! Sorry! Blush

We had our baby shower on Sunday. It was completely manic and overwhelming, but it was lovely to see everyone too. We got some lovely clothes, a Moses basket, monitor, steriliser and some other bits and bobs. Feel very lucky to have such a lovely family. And starting to feel a bit more organised now too.

minimooo · 10/02/2015 09:26

Ah splodge I just saw your post - yes I get quite a lot of pain at the top of my bump. It feels a bit like sunburn, but under the skin if that makes sense? Midwife suggested that it's likely uterine bruising because mini-minimoo is always hanging out in breech position. I find it's a lot worse if I'm bending over a lot or laughing a lot.

LaLaLaaaa · 10/02/2015 09:33

Lil unfortunately I think you need to go through obligatory 'feeling shit' stage before you get to the fun sexy dream stage!

He was a guy I used to work with, not fanciable AT ALL in real life!

Hooray for baby shower mini! That was lovely of them :)

My uppababy vista buggy arrived yesterday all shiny and pretty in it's box. It's going up into the loft for now...booooo

Stoatystoat · 10/02/2015 09:33

I had a dream I was in Topshop last night, struggling to choose going out clothes or maternity wear and just wanting something in between because I was with work people. I have had a lot of weird dreams, including sex dreams. My last rude one was about DH. I feel a bit cheated! I can have him any time!!

I'm feeling a bit normal today, like my old self. I hope that's not ominous!! I managed my commute today and I haven't felt up to that since the bleeding started. Knicker watch appears to be producing white discharge now. Scan again tomorrow.

Huge congrats again lil it's good to have you here.

I'm so glad I found this place. I have been on another forum and everyone on there had their babies long ago so I was hoping to fit in somewhere else. I tried the buses and will pop in on the September thread at some point, but they are very fast moving and I haven't wanted to get too attached to the idea of September incase it doesn't work out (it's my favourite month as it is). It's also been great having people a bit further along who remember the early pregnancy anxiety but have moved through it too.

willywallace · 10/02/2015 10:04

Fingers crossed for tomorrow stoat.

Exciting buggy news La.

Took microwil out in the pram for the first time yesterday which went well. I remember MiniWil screamed incessantly for about the first ten outings.

Stoatystoat · 10/02/2015 10:31

Totally checking out your buggy la. Me likey.

I resumed looking at buggies yesterday, trying to allow myself to get excited. I have typically got my eye on a Stokke. We don't drive so I think the buggy, sorry I mean travel system, is going to be our most crucial investment. Better start saving... We stand to inherit some stuff from my sister too which is good. She's been getting my hand me downs for 30 years, time for pay back. The buggy is not one of them unfortunately, as she had a second hand bugaboo, there's not much life left in it and DN may still be in it. DH isn't a fan of it either and although not loving the Stokke price tag, he's a tall fella so it appeals to him on that front. Long way off needing it yet though and will likely change my mind a few times.

LaLaLaaaa · 10/02/2015 11:54

Good luck for tomorrow stoat. Lots of cm is a good sign!!!

Wil hooray for cooperative baby :) is miniwil in nursery at any point of do you have both wee ones all the time?

teejayem · 10/02/2015 11:55

I think we're going for the Cosatto Giggle 2 (the new ones don't collapse which is always helpful) and I like the horrifically garish patterns, (I want pitter patter, it seems appropriate given my penchant for weather etc).

I also like the look of the iCandy, but our budget just isn't going to stretch much past £500 and Cosatto have a good deal on with travel system + free car seat etc. I'm just holding out for the baby show next week to see if anything else catches my eye.
My CM has been absurd the last few days. I got out of bed this morning and I thought I'd peed myself. On third liner already. Attractive!

did squee excitedly when I saw lil's stick on FB! you'll get he terror every time la posts up her list now lil, especially as you start to creep up to the top :D

They don't know what it was, they kept saying that BH's shouldn't hurt but these were horribly painful (not like the leg cramp I had on Saturday night that had me horror movie screaming, but still very painful) they were coming 2 in 10 even according to their notes, which they admitted was at least unusual for BH's what I was getting the next morning they were much more confident were BH's. It's possible that I'm just such a bloody wimp that BH's to me feel like early labour to the rest of the world, but they had the grace to not suggest that in my notes! Though baby was breach until the weekend, and was transverse over the weekend, now I have popping on my fanjo so I'm pretty sure she's the right way round and getting hiccups, so I'm wondering if the tightenings were just my body's way of trying to get baby into a more comfortable position Hmm baby still has a fundal height of 27cm, so she's not grown by manual measurements for weeks, the scan on the 19th seems very far away...

Stoatystoat · 10/02/2015 12:12

They're nice teejay! To be fair, there's so much choice and they look fab. Cosatto do one in black and white stripe that caught my eye before I even thought of TTC!

Love the look of iCandy as well - they did a London Skyline print that is beautiful.

I wish I was going to a babyshow, would love to go to the London one but next week is too early than I'm confident to go to. There's one in May at the NEC I might venture to.

Pisghetti · 10/02/2015 12:39

Boo if the baby is transverse it will affect the fundal height measurement - they need to be vertical in order to push up the top of the fundus IYSWIM? It sounds like the hospital aren't too worried if they haven't brought the growth scan forward but I'm a little surprised they haven't given your history with DD1? Hope the time doesn't pass too slowly anyway! If you want to go ahead of me in the stats list I won't mind Wink Are you all done with work now?

I went for a second hand iCandy - this pram just won't get as much use as the one I had with DS as I drive now and plan to use a carrier as much as I can. Brought the price down considerably! The carrycot part looks like it has never been used and the only tatty looking bit is the foam pad on the seat bar which looks a little chewed!! I'm sure I can replace that fairly easily though.

Good luck for tomorrow Stoat - but it does sound really positive now Smile

I'm going to have to give DP a prod about sorting out the monitor. It's the only bit of equipment I've delegated - and the only thing we haven't yet got! He's interested in getting a digital CCTV camera that we can pick up with an app in combination with a bog standard audio monitor. Surprisingly this does work out cheaper than an all in one video monitor but the camera quality should be a lot better. But we're no closer to a purchase Hmm in fairness he is providing all the muscle in painting the nursery. That should be done by tomorrow. We're down in Plymouth this weekend but should be able to crack on with the furniture next week. I've discovered Pinterest for nursery ideas so I have yet another avenue to waste spend time.

Purplecircle · 10/02/2015 13:11

Oooh Min what colour are you having? I'm going for chilli red, its gorgeous. They had one in my nearest mothercare the other day. I don't know where they are in stock though. The bloody price has gone up £50 since I got preggers!

Haven't had any preggo sex dreams yet, but had some weird ones and I seem to be waking hourly. I get a sharp twinge on one side when I turn over in bed sometimes

Nausea was back like a bastard today, I'd had a couple of days where it wasn't so bad :(

My friend was a couple of days ahead of me and she'd had spotting, she went for an early scan and they couldn't see what they should so she had to go back again a week later and still nothing. She's got a pill to take now...poor girl. I feel so desperately sorry for her, she had an early m/c about the same time as me too. I feel like I can't face her right now which is wrong. I'll be seeing her on Saturday but I won't talk about being pregnant unless she brings it up.

RPopz · 10/02/2015 13:17

Hooray for officially joining us Lil Smile Sorry for the corruption Dulce Wink... I've still got my piss stick collection... is that weird?!

Boo that sounds scary. Do they know what might have caused it?

GX for tomorrow Stoat

How you and H doing today Zyla?

TheBooMonster · 10/02/2015 13:20

pis they'd been talking at 12 weeks about inducing me at 37 weeks if they weren't happy with the results of the serial growth scans (28, 32 and 36 weeks), which would be 21st March, and with DD I gave birth the morning after my afternoon induction, so if you go overdue I may yet be ahead of you! Shock I think because of the consultant clinic I'm in they might have struggled to get me in this week, they had to put me into the awkward 8:30 slot that no one wanted for all of my scans as it is. Yup I'm all done with work, last working day was Saturday, so I'm burning through my holiday and the maternity leave will start on 16th March.

pis I avoided all delegating this time round, the only thing I put DH in charge of was an essential oil breastfeeding survival kit that I gave him the exact link for, everything else I've shared lists of what we need, and what I want to buy and taken his lack of a fight as agreement :P Though speaking of monitors we should probably check ours...

TheBooMonster · 10/02/2015 13:26

xpost pops they have no idea which is super helpful! Once they'd established it wasn't actual labour they seemed fairly 'meh' to be honest Hmm I had a trace of protein and leukocytes but not enough that they thought it was an infection, I've not had a stomach bug to set it off, and we've not DTD. I was told to stop rubbing my bump in case it as causing the tightenings though?! best bloody unimpressed face it's like telling someone not to think of a purple elephant, all I find myself doing is absentmindedly rubbing it, and surely that can't actually cause contractions right? Else strangers would be less inclined to bump-grope for fear of sending the pregnant lady into early labour...

Pisghetti · 10/02/2015 13:30

If bump rubbing brought on labour I'd have the baby here by now I'm sure Confused

Haha yes DP has been informed (in depth) about every purchase so he's had right of reply!

RPopz · 10/02/2015 13:47

That sounds a bit Hmm Boo! I rubbed my bump constantly... the fam were always taking the piss out of me for it in fact!

gaggiagirl · 10/02/2015 13:53

Afternoon grads. It took me an hour to catch up with you lot.
My boobs are in all kinds of the hell fire of pain. Can I dunk them in ice water? Yes? Please say yes!

teejayem · 10/02/2015 13:59

I'm a serial Bump Rubber too. I've been asked more than once if I'm making a wish while I'm rubbing. Hmm
oooh Gaggia I don't miss the fiery biscuit tits at all! The only thing that helped me was ditching the bra, which was difficult as I'm quite booby already. They don't hurt anymore, they're just mahoosive and veiny like cheese :(

OP posts:
Pisghetti · 10/02/2015 14:05

fiery biscuit tits Grin

I'm almost hoping for a mild dose of mastitis so I can use that phrase!

lildottie · 10/02/2015 14:13

I've just eaten my weight in jacket spud cheese and beans. now feel stuffed. figured I'd fill up while I can!

PiS why Plymouth? not a million miles from me!

LaLaLaaaa · 10/02/2015 15:43

Fiery biscuit tits!?!? Amazing!

I've just gone from 3 day constipated to mini poos every 3 hours, accompanied by loud trumping and a musical belly. Lil you have all of this fun to come!

Last nights daisy class was hilarious - 'the cervix ripples to open!'. I nearly fell on my face laughing whilst on all fours with my arse in the air.

Will catch up properly later. Back is agony today.

18 weeks woohoo!! Grin

willywallace · 10/02/2015 16:01

A ripply cervix?!Grin Yep that's what I remember feeling in labour before I felt a slight pop and a baby appeared...

MiniWil not in nursery La because can't really afford it. She'll be going after the summer to a school one. Her behaviour is terrible at the moment.

Mmm love cheesy beans Lil.

RPopz · 10/02/2015 16:41

No I don't remember any rippling Hmm Grin But I also forgot to rotate to dilate.... Bad Popz.

Fiery biscuits Grin
