I can't imagine doing another 4 or 6 weeks gaaah!!! I'm only a wee bit ahead of you'd but I am so ready to be done. And I only work P/T anyway! What a Wimp!

cinnamongreyhound · 15/02/2015 22:20

My girls names would be Charlotte, Emily and lily, but that's academic!

FiRaffe · 15/02/2015 22:20

I'm with you banana. I can barely move without groaning now, but still at work until 2nd April. Ah well, hopefully it'll come around in no time. ....

BananaToast · 15/02/2015 22:23

I really hope so! I've got a few odd days leave to take before mat leave starts so only have 30 working days left, finishing on 1st April. It doesn't sound like a lot to get through but god I'm ready for it to all be done with. These last few months are quite hectic trying to get lots done so I'm working harder than normal just when I want to step back a bit. Never mind, it's really not long in the grand scheme of things.

30+6

Siarie · 15/02/2015 22:47

No idea how you ladies work and get around. We were for a short shopping trip yesterday and I kept having to sit down. Couldn't breathe, or felt heavy, dizzy then pelvic pain the next day from over doing it.

Hitting the big 30 week mark tomorrow. 7 - 12 to go!

londonlivvy · 15/02/2015 22:56

kismac I had Fraser earmarked as a boy's name. my mum is a scot so I wanted a Scottish name. dh is a kiwi though so resistant. but he did agree to Fraser. we are having a girl though so still yet to find a name that works. I love Ildica but DH says it's weird and no. also no to Mhairi (too close to Maori, apparently). hum

londonlivvy · 15/02/2015 22:57

ooh I like hector *moomin". He's one of the big boy cousins from Katie Morag isn't he?

londonlivvy Mhairi is often pronounced Varri if that's different enough from Maori? Similar might be Mairead? Mirren? I've got loads of Scortish girl name suggestions but there's prob other forums for that Blush

MoominMama22 · 15/02/2015 23:02

Oh soz bit behind my page hadn't refreshed.

LittleGreyCatwithapinkcollar · 15/02/2015 23:06

I can't wait for maternity leave either. Half term this week is giving me a rest then 3 weeks after and I'm done! Had to get myself some crutches today due to pelvic pain getting too much so having to leave the building to go to the loo at work isn't particularly pleasant! Was planning to work to 39 weeks but at 32+5 I've come to the realisation it just isn't going to happen!!

londonlivvy · 15/02/2015 23:09

ooh thanks moomin. I think we are going to have to compromise on something relatively boring, sadly. DH is conservative. But our surname is v common so I want a slightly unusual first name for DD2. all Scots girls names ideas welcome.

MoominMama22 · 15/02/2015 23:25

What about Ngairie for the kiwi connection ( pron or even spelt Nyree) I love it but it is also I think the only Maori name I know ( my mums kiwi)

I can't believe so many of you seem to be working til the bitter end. Are you not scared you'll have your babies at work!? I feel more wimpy than ever.

brummagem · 16/02/2015 07:02

I haven't seen leaky nipples but sometimes mine are a bit crusty when take bra off which is always attractive.

Jealous of you all going off on mat leave. I've got 6 weeks left until Easter hols to go! Still keep forgetting this ruddy mat1b form I'll get 0 pay at this rate lol. Must sort it out over half term. I feel like the HMS Ark Royal atm so don't know how will get through the next 5 weeks at work! 30 4&5 year olds are exhausting enough without being pregnant!

I know what people mean about nesting but I'm doing it at school not home Grin tidied out my classroom cupboard and want to attack my resource ones now but I cba to do anything at home but chill.

There's some lovely names being mentioned I like Ivy and Flora. We found loads of girls names we liked the top 5 were: Henrietta Georgiana Elizabeth Tabitha Willow. Then little bump turned out to be a boy we now have our 1st name but haven't really thought about middle names yet. As bump isn't much of a bump more like a hill he's become little Ted. People say he's v small for 7 mths but being nearly 6' tall probably helps!

Wineandchoccy · 16/02/2015 07:03

smogsville the plastic tubs for batch cooking were from B & M and I got some metal ones that are oven proof in different sizes from home bargain. The pound shops usually have them as well.

I managed a 2 hour walk yesterday but my back was really hurting by the end, I've not slept great either and have got a busy day at work.

I still have 8 weeks to work before my Mat leave, I'm due on the 14th and finish 4 days before. My last 2 weeks are working from home though so no driving or early starts.

My boobs are completely different they are 3 cup sizes bigger and have been leaking since about 22 weeks, the different size was how I knew I was pregnant.

I have not bought any nursing bras yet. Where is everybody going to be measured?

AnniaFausta · 16/02/2015 07:08

I've now got six weeks until maternity leave starts... should be fine. As some of you may remember, I work from home Mon-Tues and then go into the office Wed-Fri, and because of the distance I'm staying over close to work on Wed and Thurs evenings, so I've only got to do the commute once over the course of the week. That's working quite well in terms of stopping me being knackered beyond reason, although I have to ask at my appointment tomorrow what happens if I do go into labour when I'm there and not at home.

Wine, the lady at Mothercare said to go in two weeks before your due date to get measured for your nursing bra, so that's what I'm going to do.

brummagem · 16/02/2015 07:11

I was expecting huge porn staresque boobs but mine have hardly grown! They've just filled out a bit and got heavier. DH (obvs a man of the world) said they feel like fake ones now.

I went to mothercare for mine. Not been properly measured yet really should though. The nursing bra I bought in the sale fits perfectly but don't want to buy more in case have a growth spurt iyswim. Is that likely now?

Lauren82000 · 16/02/2015 07:13

Misty I have the health visitor today but I'm going to her. The girl I work with had hers last week and got a home visit. Apparently she was just asked a load of questions some of which she was slightly insulted by as she has 2 children already at school age which have obviously survived. Didn't check her house or even use the loo. (Thought they always do that to check you have hot running water) I wouldn't worry remember you can tell them to sling their hook, you don't have to use them they are optional. Wink

BrixtonBunny · 16/02/2015 07:21

Four weeks of work to go.
Four and a half weeks until we move house.
New house is a genuine building site with no kitchen, holes in the walls, walls in a state, bath that needs replacing, and floors that need doing.
Seem to be really busy out of work.
32+5
Eeeeek Shock

BrixtonBunny · 16/02/2015 07:24
