New (and probably) final thread for those of us due in March (with a few lovely February ladies who didn't want to leave).

Here we go, count down begins

lotsoftoast · 02/02/2015 08:49

Eek. Very exciting!

Growth scan for me today (well, should be if they have space) after reduced movements on Saturday, and another trace yesterday. They think I'm measuring small but I don't feel as small as they say! Will see how we get on later

theonewiththenoisychild · 02/02/2015 08:58

Yayyyy final thread first baby will be along soon..... exciting :) instead of looking forward 7 ish weeks i'm looking forward to 25th when they finally book my c section. I just want a date to look forward to. but iv'e got this funny feeling that this baby isn't going to wait for a c section. I'm not sure why as never gone into labour without help. But if i do go into labour im hoping all is ok and i get a vba2c :)

fishfingerSarnies · 02/02/2015 09:06

I'm the same theone if I go naturally I'm going to try for vbac but dd didn't come at all without every sort of induction attempt so I don't have much hope.

pinkandstripey · 02/02/2015 09:38

Marking place on shiny new thread :)

fourmonthstogo · 02/02/2015 09:38

Me too!

Lifeisabeach · 02/02/2015 10:21

Oooh exciting to have a new thread, and probably lots of babies before we hit 1000 posts on this one!

Lots of luck for this week, Zyla. I hope things stay steady and baby can stay put until next weekend.

7 weeks to go for me. A couple of weeks ago I had a spurt of organisation and buying things, but that seems to have ground to a halt recently. Need to finish getting everything sorted. Planning to stop work at 38 weeks so I hope baby isn't early. DS was 9 days late; DD was 3 hours late...so the pattern seems to be that they're getting earlier.

shelley1977 · 02/02/2015 10:59

Ive always started naturally then they help speed things up by breaking my waters. Once that has happened I know it will be anything from 30 min to about 2 hours. Hoping this little one no different Smile

M27J5M · 02/02/2015 11:18

Just place marking! Hope you are all well

Gudgyx · 02/02/2015 11:24

Oh shiny new thread! Shit getting real now!!

I'm working from home today but I dont have a home office so balancing the laptop on my bump - not ideal as baby keeps trying to kick it off. Have sat it on a cushion now but she's still having some fun trying to find it again.

4 weeks today til my section. Squeaky bum time.

DurhamRed · 02/02/2015 13:13

Just marking my place. Good luck for Saturday Zyla!

Butterpuff · 02/02/2015 13:41

Could it be the final thread!!!!

Hoping baby hangs in till Saturday Zyla but also looking forward to our first arrival and so far it looks like you will be the one providing it.

I can relax a bit today, 37 weeks exactly I am officially full term. I would say baby can come any time now but really I would love him/her to be late. Still have the rest of this week at work and would love more than two weeks at home to finish cleaning up and get ready for baby's arrival.

I had a bath for the first time in pregnancy on Sunday. It was amazing, will aim to have one every night now I think.

Carpets laid on Tuesday and then I think we have had all the heavy dirty jobs done on the house, just need to get the nursery ready and we are good to go.

Call me tragic but we hit a new home milestone yesterday. Our fridge freezer arrived and was switched on. For the first time since November we have frozen peas in the house. It finally feels like we have moved in Grin

Pisghetti · 02/02/2015 14:16

Ah I'm glad someone tidied up the last thread! 34 weeks today but I only have two more weeks at work as I have lots of holiday leave to use up. Three more trips away from home (two for work and one for family) left and then I'm refusing to go more than an hour from home any more!

DP is cracking on with the nursery. I have major FOMO as he's doing it while I'm at work so when I get home things are wet and nothing can be done until the next day so I don't feel like I'm contributing much. I did scrape the majority of the wallpaper off, scrubbed the walls down and sanded the ceiling but none of that is the fun stuff! At least we picked the colours together. Getting together ideas for little projects to do while I'm on leave to give it some final touches.

Hi all. Been missing im action somewhat on this thread but tuning in for the imminent arrivals. 36 weeks today and extremely disorganised. 2 more days at work then DH and I are off to Ikea on Thursday to furnish the nursery so hopefully i can start getting it sorted

MGFM · 02/02/2015 19:06

mg it is great!! We're picking mine up on Saturday. So excited!

theonewiththenoisychild · 02/02/2015 20:48

my pram is in the hall as nowhere else to put it. not sure where its going when we paint the hall tho. should have left it in the box i think

trulyscrumptious33 · 02/02/2015 21:37

It's the final countdown!! How lovely to be able to share this with all of you ladies.

Just two more days left at work before maternity leave starts; as my DH keeps saying "it's the final push!" He'll be a great dad with that terrible sense of humour!! Wink

Wishing you all well and I look forward to sharing so many precious moments with you.

Ellizardo · 03/02/2015 08:23

Hello everyone, final push/stretch indeed! 7 weeks to go for me...it really feels like we're collectively holding our breath! Family members have started booking in their flights to London over Easter to see him. It all feels v real.

MGFM- vista looks awesome and I love the cherry red. Mine hasn't arrived yet but it's the final big piece.
Anyone recommend a good play mat/gym? They all seem quite £. Half tempted to make my own!

Snowed overnight in London for first time this winter, feeling proper cosy now.

Gudgyx · 03/02/2015 09:59

Girls at work have bought me this one Ellizardo

www.mothercare.com/Mothercare-Loved-So-Much-Playmat-and-Gym/455044,default,pd.html#q=gym

I dont have it yet as Yodel mucked up the delivery and sent it to a completely different address, saying it was delivered to a neighbour (in a completely different street that I dont even know!) so Mothercare are sending me another one to the closest store to pick up on Friday.

My pram came at the weekend too :) its out the boxes but currently sitting in baby's room, we have no space whatsoever!

Beginning to wish I'd finished up for maternity leave sooner. I'm getting really tired now.

Butterpuff · 03/02/2015 10:14

I'm with you Gudgy also at our NCT class last night one of the girls (who is due the day before us) told us that she is now being induced on Monday due to raised BP. Made me realise that 38 weeks really is anytime now and that finishing Friday at 37+5 I may not actually get any time off before baby arrives at all. I just want to sleep.

Hoping our buggy will arrive Friday while DH is working from home.
Then the nursery furniture should be with us the week after.

Getting exciting.

Oh and Mum has been cleaning up a Moses basket a friend gave us and buying a mattress, blankets etc. She is getting excited and went up into her loft, where she found a load of knitted and crocheted baby bits that she had made or been given for me and my brother. So she is washing those up in preparation too. Smile Our baby will be dressed in hand made vintage woollies Wink

Wherediparkmybroom · 03/02/2015 10:21

I bought a tiny little coral cardigan yesterday, not sure what she will be wearing it over.......really must hit sainsburies. Off to see MW shortly at least I get to tell her her tape measure is wrong! Consultant appointment at 38 weeks so I'm assuming they will book a c section then if it's still necessary.

Ellizardo · 03/02/2015 12:58

Thanks Gudgy, that one looks sweet and comfortable (she says, eyelids drooping, ready for a nap).
Totally with you both on fatigue levels, knackered again like first Tri.
Yodel are crap. The worst delivery company I've ever had the displeasure to envounter. It's like a bloody treasure hunt trying to find out what 'convenient' location they've dumped it in.
