What's the spreadsheet?

Weareboatsremember · 26/01/2015 19:13

Thought I recognised your screen name bippidee I'm from your sept 2013 group and am due 27th sept - squee!

Mummyboo30 · 26/01/2015 19:18

So sorry Spud and Cinnamon. Sad Flowers

itssangriaoclock · 26/01/2015 19:20

Could I be added to the spreadsheet?

I've got an early scan tomorro afternoon x

Jackieharris · 26/01/2015 19:23

Signing in again.

I had mussels for a starter tonight-was wary about having something like that when I've been feeling sick but I actually feel better for eating a more varied diet.

getoffthecoffeetable · 26/01/2015 19:25

Can I join you ladies please? I've been lurking (in denial) for a couple of days. We'd just decided to start trying for our third and I've fallen pregnant straightaway. Still in shock but very happy.
I think I'm five weeks but not sure.
Waves to the ladies from the Nov 13 Bus x

I spent the day hunting the city for a gluten and liver free haggis, the butcher thought I was mad! Eventually ended up with one of each, the gluten free one being for our friend who's coming for dinner tonight, so DH has to remember which plate of food is mine. My excuse for not drinking wine is I'm on antibiotics and as for the cheeseboard, well i shall just hog the cheddar!

I am completely off the caffeine too. I don't have many vices so it's not that tricky for me.

Called the midwife this morning, took ages to get through. Booking in appointment is on 4th March and our scan is on the 17th. Eek!

Bippidee · 26/01/2015 19:41

Woohoo, weareboats! Excellent news!

Waves back at getoffthecoffeetable Smile

brickiemum2 · 26/01/2015 19:58

I've never avoided haggis, I didn't figure it would have enough liver to matter? Blush either way I ate a massive plate of it last night so it's too late now anyway lol.

Sundaysmumisfullofwine · 26/01/2015 20:11

Placemarking.

Spud and Cinnamon, so sorry to read your news. Take care of yourselves.

Tiredstressed · 26/01/2015 20:14

I am so sorry to hear your news Spud and Cinnamon.

It looks like my booking appointment won't be until late February so I have got quite a bit of time to wait. No real symptoms here yet - just feeling a bit sick at times. Very early days though - I am 5 weeks tomorrow. I think I started to feel sick at about 6 weeks last time.

Mummyboo30 · 26/01/2015 20:28

Has anyone got any tips for how and when to tell 3yo only child that she's going to be a big sister? Not sure how to do it without overdoing it! Also she tends to misbehave when she's excited about things.

Becca83 · 26/01/2015 20:29

Hey guys, sorry I've not been very chatty, it's still very early days for me, 5 weeks, and I feel like a bit of a fraud! No symptoms at all, so it doesn't quite feel real!

So sorry to hear some people have had bad news Sad

I've tried to update the spreadsheet, but can't do it from my phone or tablet. Would someone mind doing it for me?

Becky83 31 baby #1 Edd 28th September. No scan date yet.

Thanks guys, look forward to sharing this journey with you. Really hope i start feeling something soon (will regret saying that!)

banterbus · 26/01/2015 20:31

Thanks shoot for adding me to the spreadsheet. Still no real symptoms and finding it so hard not to tell anyone!

getoffthecoffeetable · 26/01/2015 20:36

mummyboo30
I'd wait a little while before saying anything otherwise she might ask every day when the baby's coming, but you can start reading books to prepare her. There's a lovely one called "there's a house inside my mummy" and there's a Topsy and Tim book about the new baby.

itssangriaoclock · 26/01/2015 20:39

Becca83 glad it's not just me know can't add myself

30 2nd baby EDD 13/09/15 no scan date, would like a homebirth.

Anymore details needed pls just ask.

Could someone pls add me

Lauramum23 · 26/01/2015 20:40

When I was having my last child we kept it from our then 5 year and 2.5 year old till we had the 20 week scan it's such a long time for them to wait isn't it they have no concept of time lol but once we had the scan we told them they were having a baby brother, awww x

brickiemum2 · 26/01/2015 20:54

If I wait until after my 20 week scan my kid's might think I've swallowed a beach ball lol.

monkeymoonpig · 26/01/2015 21:02

Any suggestions on easing pain of sore nipples? My left one hurts like hell! Can i use the lanolin/bf creams?

SpamAnderson · 26/01/2015 21:07

Ha ha same here brickie we're telling ours straight after the 12 week scan, if good news obv! I look full term by about 4-5 months normally, then just end up looking like violet from willy Wonka. I've got a rounded belly already and dd1 (7) rubbed it yesterday :/ so I don't know if we'll manage to keep it from her for another 5 weeks, never mind another 13 ha ha! Dd2 (5) isn't really on this planet tbh so she'll probably forget anyway ha ha! Dd1 is so darn excited as she knows 'mummy's tummy is getting ready to have a baby in it'. She'll be so happy to find out she has a baby brother or sister due a week after her birthday!

itssangriaoclock · 26/01/2015 21:07

Bath? Paracetamol? Non wired bras not sure if creams would help as it's hormonal changes.

getoffthecoffeetable · 26/01/2015 21:07

I read that using breastpads can ease it monkey. Also, when you're breastfeeding and have sore boobs cabbage leaves help, honest!
Laura that's lovely.
Brickie there's no way my eldest won't notice how fat I am at twenty weeks if my belly's anything to go by now and I'm only five!
Waves back at stuff.

Mummytogoldie · 26/01/2015 21:20

I am nearly 8 weeks and keep getting sharp pains at the top of my tummy and low achey pains, anyone else had this? I am worrying as has mc beginning of December :(

Lauramum23 · 26/01/2015 21:21

Well yes to be fair at the time my eldest wasn't "on this planet" either so he just wouldn't have noticed!Grin And I suppose at 2 and a half my daughter probably thought I was just fatGrin, we are probably gonna have to tell ours after 12 week scan cos they listen don't they!? Nothing's a bloody secret especially my 8 year old dd she listens to everything she is so so nosy!!! She keeps quiet but you just know she's taking it all right in! And the youngest will need to be told he's quite rough! Already I'm covering my tummy in fear of him! I'm a bit worried of thier reactions actually.........
