I also have my early scan on Thursday maths so we can be worry warts together until then Smile

brickiemum2 · 27/01/2015 06:13

Ah, antiD Monty? No, I'm rh+ thankfully.

alien11 · 27/01/2015 06:15

maths88 I've done cheapie tests everyday! Have a month until booking in scan..and a weeks skiing holiday before the 12 wk scan!

alien11 · 27/01/2015 06:25

Goodness me this 6am alarm to walk our dog in the pitch black is making me soooo tired! Very hard to get out of bed!
Getting all sorts of pains it's going to be a long wait!!
Hope you all have a lovely day Smile

getoffthecoffeetable · 27/01/2015 06:30

What a day Monty so glad that it was good news for you.
I'm so tired today and I have no reason to be, went to bed at 10.30 and my boys didn't wake up until 6.
I reckon I would be able to sleep for another couple of hours though given half the chance.

FeelTheNoise · 27/01/2015 06:51

I'm so exhausted again! I was hoping to be less angry today but it doesn't look promising with this level of tiredness, plus I'm constipated Confused

45Monty · 27/01/2015 07:10

Brickie Yes, Anti-D. They wouldn't discharge me until they gave me the shot, as I had been bleeding the day prior. Precautionary, in case of miscarriage.

DoctorDonnaNoble · 27/01/2015 07:14

So tired. Woken up by boob pain at 2am and couldn't get back to sleep. I've got a full day today (giving up lunch time and my frees for extra-curricular work) and then a day with only half an hour free tomorrow with a 6-9 parents evening. The way I'm feeling I'm not sure how I'm going to make it through a 13 hour day! Soooo tired!

sebsmummy1 · 27/01/2015 07:33

Monty I'm rhesus negative and will see what the midwife says today. My understanding was they were generally concerned over 12 weeks but it does sound precautionary as you say. Glad everything for the moment seems ok xx

TheMidnightHour · 27/01/2015 08:16

Hello! Just got caught up. Paid for a private early scan at the weekend. Bean is in place, well established and the right length. Was getting worried about ectopic due to one- sided pains but all is fine & they checked ovaries, v reassuring. Well worth the money (£89) for us. Am 9+1 today and able to plan for the future Smile v excited. Have to go find a gp now as mine 2h30 away!

getoffthecoffeetable · 27/01/2015 08:18

That's great news midnighthour
You must be well chuffed.
Feeling very rough this morning, I'd forgotten this delightful part of pregnancy.

alien11 · 27/01/2015 08:31

Fab news greatmidnighthour :-) would love a private scan but holding off! I feel fine slightly worrying! Having pain on left hand side but not panicking yet as remember lots of different aches and pains last time. Digi text this morning now shows 2-3.

nutelladipper · 27/01/2015 08:41

morning all,

I hope everyone is well. I'm 10 weeks today and i have finally given in to maternity jeans. I'm training today so with no one from my team so i don't have to worry about people catching a glimpse of my stretchy side panels haha.

x

Jackieharris · 27/01/2015 08:45

Mummyboo30 I'd wait until you're showing. 9 months is forever for a 3yo.

ElleyBear13 · 27/01/2015 08:48

Morning all, i just wanted to update everyone! Firstly thank you for your reassurance last week (i posted about symptoms disappearing). We went for a scan on Sunday and it was money well spent! Baby measuring on time at 9w1d and we seen the heartbeat beating away, baby also wiggled and jumped on screen! So my due dates August 29th hope i can still be part of the September thread :) heres a picture of little bean in his or hers own love heart! :D

Jackieharris · 27/01/2015 08:56

I'm going to postpone my booking appointment. I need to get a doula first and that takes time. I'm only 5-7 weeks so no need to have it this soon anyway, I'm sure with last ones it was more like 14 +weeks.

As for the scan I'd rather not have one before 12 weeks. If it is a mmc I'd rather it just happened naturally privately at home rather than being told by a stranger in a clinical environment iyswim?

I'm having a duvet day today with a couple of pregnancy books including a Sheila Kitzinger one and I'm actually feeling much better for not having a hectic morning (not that dp was too pleased with doing the school run).

mspfan · 27/01/2015 09:02

Hi everyone, can I join too? Got my bfp for #1 on Sunday, due 26/9/15. Still in shock as wasn't expecting it too happen quite so quickly!

DeladionInch · 27/01/2015 09:03

half decent night's sleep means I'm feeling far less rough hurrah! I've even managed some houseworkBlush

Lauramum23 · 27/01/2015 09:19

Morning all, welcome newcomers, I'm a bit envious of all you with early scans! I'll just have to wait till 12 weeks tho don't think hubby will pay lol and tbh there's always something to spend the money on with 3 kids lol, I'm getting that tired feeling on and off these symptoms are gonna hit me with a bang next week I bet!
I'm making myself go and do some exercise this morning tho only aquafit but it's better than nothing the only thing is I don't know wether to tell instructor yet?? Is it just too early? Plus all the people that go to kettlersize will be asking me why am I not doing it?? Might just say I pulled a muscle?! My groin is a bit sore this morning actually don't know why? So I would technically be lying!
Then I've got loads to do when I get back! Poo.

Lauramum23 · 27/01/2015 09:20

wouldnt that should be!

gennibugs · 27/01/2015 09:29

Morning all.

Glad so many of you have had positive early scans. I'm still toying with having one or not.

laura I told my PT at the gym even though it's so early but not telling my class instructors just yet, I'm just working at my own pace In them. I didn't want to be telling too many people just yet. DH thinks I should so they are aware but I'm not sure.

mspfan welcome - I'm due on the 26th too at the moment. Grin

Mummyboo30 · 27/01/2015 09:46

Jackie do you need to have a souls in place before even booking in? That seems very early to me. Also to have booking in at 14+ seems very late.
Have you self-referred for a scan? Where I am, only the midwife can book it for you.

And yeah, I know time goes slowly for small children. That's why I'm debating when is best. I'd rather tell her properly than let her hear it from someone else, but we'll wait as long as we can.

Lovely scan pic Elley! Very sweet!

Mummyboo30 · 27/01/2015 09:47

*doula, not souls!!

Jackieharris · 27/01/2015 09:56

Yes, I need a doula to come with me to the appointment. I've not been able to get anyone at such short notice.

Lauramum23 · 27/01/2015 09:56

Bottled it I'm not going now feel a bit crap just gonna get on with my cleaning! Tut tut I knew I should have just gone for my walk when I dropped kids off!
