20th JSing GRADS thread - our chat's still filthy, just not in front of the baby...

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 20th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 37th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Wil I am washing mine so it can go in box and into loft. It's too ragged at the bottom to sell because we had photos in the forest, but perhaps I could have it made into something later on, like a keepsake of some sort for my daughter or granddaughter. I doubt any daughter would want to wear it! My friends and I always said we'd have a friends style party one day where we'd all put our wedding dresses on for a laugh.

Popz has your bump gone down completely?

willywallace · 31/01/2015 22:32

Aw nice. Where did you get married?

Fleurchamp · 31/01/2015 22:35

I haven't washed my wedding dress either. It's a bit sad really as I loved that dress! It's at my dad's house as we inherited clothes moths when we moved into our house and we have never been able to get rid of the blighters Angry

Glad your experiment worked out la

ZylaB · 31/01/2015 22:48

I need to wash mine too! It's been hung up in dress bag for 18 months with dust all up it (from Grand Canyon :) ) so I'm going to try washing it..... Probably in another year when I've got used to baby lol!

Had a melt down earlier I'm embarrassed to say, had lots of low sugars today and can't work out why. It made me feel, shit, and not with it, then I tried to eat more to correct one, couldn't, got upset, got stomach pains, cried etc etc. everyone was lovely and I feel, loads better now, still dunno what's up with the sugars though, I'm just broken! This time in a week I'll be pushing hopefully!

TheBooMonster · 31/01/2015 23:07

I might turn my dress into 'naming ceremony' gowns for the girls or something (God knows there's enough of it) I never wanted to buy my dress, had planned on hiring it but DH's nan wanted to buy the dresses as our wedding gift and it seemed a bit rude to say "I don't want it, it's not like I plan on walking down the aisle 7 months pregnant twice" and now it's taking up half a bloody wardrobe at PiL's house!

lildottie · 01/02/2015 00:21

My dress is at my mums waiting to be washed (married 3 years) but i won't be attempting to wash it myself - it's natural silk! I was planning on doing a photo shoot in mine, dh is into photography, but haven't got around to it yet, and hopefully this year it wont fit!!

LaLaLaaaa · 01/02/2015 05:16

Awww zyla I'm so sorry you're having such a rotten time. It can't be nice feeling crap and there's noting you can do about it. Thinking of you and looking forward to you being a mummy this time next week x

Wil - a place in Dunbar, it was beautiful! It was a lovely but crazy day and I ended up extremely drunk through sheer nerves/stress. So much fun though! Dress was beautiful but it looked like it's been dragged through a hedge with sticks in the lace and cat pee down it.

Going to have a go at the stain tomorrow and whack it back in the machine

DulcetMoans · 01/02/2015 06:59

Just woken up with realisation I fucked something up at work. Now I can't sleep again! Confused

So sorry you had a crappy day zyla, you're not having an easy time but nearly there! are the staff nice at least?

Naming gown is a nice idea boo. No plans for mine, just sits here taking up space. Feels wrong to sells but don't really need it!

LaLaLaaaa · 01/02/2015 07:41

I think I felt baby move! There was a weird flippy feeling in the middle of the night. But now I think it might have been wind.

Dulcet same here ! I was going over an email I received a million times in my head. Such a rude email from a colleague

ChatEnOeuf · 01/02/2015 08:24

Same Dulcet, mine us (unwashed) still in the storage bag it was delivered in. Not sure how I'd feel to sell it - and it wouldn't be easy as it was made to measure by a friend of mine...so it's just sitting there. The bottom is v grubby - got married at Birmingham's Botanical Gardens :)

Hope the work thing is fixable.

Ooh La! It's a lovely feeling :) New name?

Fleur - how annoying, I'm not sure why they don't just shove you into an appt straight after your 20w scan - it's generally what we do if you're otherwise uncomplicated.

Hope your sugars behave Zyla and you're feeling a bit less wobbly soon.

LaLaLaaaa · 01/02/2015 08:31

Yeah I didn't like that people called me 'lala5' I'm responses, I'm la!!!

laurenamium · 01/02/2015 08:54

Morning viroids. I too keep having weird dreams! If I'm not having an affair then my other recurring one I keep having (and had last night) is that me and DP are living in a block of flats that are really awful and DP does something really unsuitable. Last night he murdered someone but the time before he had an affair. I announce I can't keep the kids safe and I leave him. I'm sure psychologists would have a field day with it Confused

Lazy morning here. I managed to convince DD it was still night time at 8 this morning bad parenting and she's only just woke up again Grin

Fleurchamp · 01/02/2015 08:54

Morning all, I had the most lovely night's sleep.

Funnily enough la and dulcet I didn't sleep a wink on Friday for worrying about work- this is very rare for me as I am good at leaving work at the office. In this case, a new colleague was coming to the end of their probation period and my boss emailed me for feedback. In all honesty, it wasn't the right job for her as she made a lot of the same mistakes over and over and didn't seem interested in being trained. Anyway, I replied in a brutally honest way.
Cue my boss sacking her by reading her my email!!! the poor woman came straight to me to tell me that she was going and that she knew what I had said. I was absolutely stunned and so embarrassed Blush So unprofessional of my boss.
It has really upset me. I thought my boss and I got on but clearly she didn't want to appear the bad guy and was quite happy to stab me in the back.
Lesson learned.

willywallace · 01/02/2015 08:56

Can the work fuck ups be fixed?

Soooo I've done two weeks of this now. Surely it's time for me to have a mini break or something. If MrWil mentions once more about how tired he is, I'm going to have to rip his face off.

DulcetMoans · 01/02/2015 09:05

Oh god fleur, that's awful! That beats my work thing hands down! Are you going to speak tryout pas about it? Such a bad situation to put you in.

I've had the shitty email one too la, just before Christmas. She copied loads of people in too, which was good in a way as she got hauled in and told to sort herself out. I'm shit at leaving work at work, one of my main concerns about maternity leave is the letting go.

It can't be fixed really wil, it's happened now but it's not a big deal. A bunch of student workers would have turned up yesterday with nothing to do but ill pay them anyway. Sure it will be fine!

It's tough isn't it chat, seems like a waste in a way. Some people on Pinterest made these 3d frames with their dresses and other wedding bits in. It's pretty but wouldn't suit my house really.

I think that is an excellent example of trust in parenting lauren! You say it's nighttime, she didn't argue, what mummy says must be true!

mountaingirl01 · 01/02/2015 09:09

Morning viroids! Im sitting at geneva airport waiting to fly home :( looking forward to my bed (and house minus the in laws) but really really really don't want to go back to work tomorrow :( booo skiing was very fun but a small part of me is glad to have stopped now so I don't need to worry anymore. I was a good girl though and stuck mainly to the pistes.

fleur that is awful! What a bitch!

LaLaLaaaa · 01/02/2015 09:47

That's vile fleur! How dare your boss do that!

Mountain that's gone really quickly! Hope you had fun :)

Dulcet yes this one was in response to something I did as a favour as we don't have a specialist in the area just now and they knew I had experience. Response was along the lines of thanks for your comments but you're being too picky and anal

I'm a scientist, it's my job to present fact.

willywallace · 01/02/2015 10:19

Aw hate the post-holiday comedown Mountain. Hope you have a safe trip home.

Stuff them La. They obviously can't live up to your standards.

IABtotallyU but MIL is driving me nuts. She's so helpful but ignores everything I say. I ask her not to give MiniWil more food and then in front of me asks her if she wants more toast. MiniWil has some digestive issues so it's really not great for her to have 5 bits of toast a day. She asked me to put dishwasher on and it wasn't even half full so I said I'd wait until it was full. Then I went to bed and she told MrWil to put it on. I know I'm just annoyed because I'm sleep deprived but aaaaaargh!

townsender · 01/02/2015 10:19

Nice new name La

fleur that is crap - definitely unprofessional of your boss to do that. I hate giving people feedback, and especially negative feedback, and I really appreciate it when people are honest. So hopefully the person who's leaving can look back in a few months time and be glad that they got some honest feedback, hopefully it'll help them in the future.

I try my best to leave work at work, but I've been bad recently - spent yesterday morning and last night working (when I was bored because DP went to the pub). Friday afternoon I didn't get much done as I was shattered and I'm anticipating that pg tiredness will kickin, so I won't get as much done during the week as usual. Trying to keep on top of things by working the weekend. Day off today though!

DulcetMoans · 01/02/2015 11:18

Oh yeah town, we have already advocated no work in the first 12 weeks! You can't concentrate.

Did DH know you have said no to MiL wil? My MiL can are too much and it can really wind me up so I know how you feel. How long is she there for?

I'm sure I had a question I was going to ask but it's gone...

DulcetMoans · 01/02/2015 11:42

I remember! The yoga lady finally got back to me to say she had my booking form and when did I want to start. I replied but nothing back yet. Class is tomorrow, how rude is it to turn up and just see if there is space to start immediately? Is that really rude? I won't push if there's no space but I want to get started as my exercise has reduced a lot as I did a lot of high impact stuff.

laurenamium · 01/02/2015 12:00

Oh wil how long is she there for?

Sorry about those with work problems! fleurwhat a cow your boss was! Shock

I haven't got long left before maternity leave now really. So I need to pull my finger out to get the loose ends of paperwork tied up but I really can't be bothered just yet! Blush I keep putting it off on a night so it's just building up!

laurenamium · 01/02/2015 12:12

I would just turn up dulcet! It sounds like she's got space by asking you when you want to start, and she can always say no to you when you get there if she's full!

RPopz · 01/02/2015 12:14

Yep bump has gone La .... think I am somehow thinner than pre pregnancy (breastfeeding FTW!). Skin is still baggy and unpleasant though.

Fleur that is incredibly shitty! Will you pull her up on it?

Shouldn't be stressing about work on a Sunday anyway ladies! (Says me, moaning last night I "only" have 11 months mat leave left now DS is 4 weeks old... Shock )

I was keeping my wedding dress to show a potential daughter (and cos I love it)... but then I had a boy! Tempted to just sell it.

Hope you're feeling better Zyla x

RPopz · 01/02/2015 12:15

Yeah I would prob just turn up Dulce if its not too far? She might get back to you in the morning though.
