20th JSing GRADS thread - our chat's still filthy, just not in front of the baby...

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 20th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 37th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

I got a bit drunk and booked a holiday around this stage...flying in two weeks!!

laurenamium · 30/01/2015 13:11

stoaty I'm missing exercise too. Sorry you're in limbo though! I bet you're counting the days down until Thursday!

chat in the event that meptid is unavailable. Is diamorph the next best pain killer choice? I don't want to be out of control and everyone on OBEM (I know I know) seems to fall asleep when they have it! I really don't want pethidine!

Indigoblue2 · 30/01/2015 14:32

Hold in there zyla, not long to go now, whenever she ends up appearing!

Sorry for my shitness on the fred viroids. I've been rubbish lately. Scan next weds, I'm currently 12+2. Looking forward to catching up with you all properly very soon Smile

Btw enough moaning about length of booking app. Mine was 3 full hours Blush although 45 mins of that was for multiple failed blood extraction attempts in both arms and hand... Looks like pregnancy had made my veins shy!

RPopz · 30/01/2015 14:42

Pethidine and diamorphine are just versions of the same thing I think Lauren ... I had diamorph and tbh I really regret it. It didn't do much for the pain and just made me insanely sleepy. DH says I slept for nearly 3 hours (which tbh I prob needed as I'd been awake 36 hours...) but I don't remember it! I didn't feel out of control particularly though... just massively sleepy.

laurenamium · 30/01/2015 14:58

Ah thanks popz. Looks like ill be going the pain route then! I had DD with just gas and air but want to be prepared for which drugs I want or don't!

minimooo · 30/01/2015 15:11

oooo lil how exciting! How are you feeling today?

Sorry it's dragging on for you stoat, hope this next week flies by and that you get to see your sticky bean at the scan next week Flowers

Sounds exhausting wil Sad hope you manage to get some shuteye today

Hang on in there zyla, you're doing great. It must be miserable in hospital, but you're in the best place. Hope minizyla can stay put for a while longer.

Hi indigo Not long to go now until your scan. Exciting times.

Had my 28-week midwife appt today and they measured me at exactly 28cm, so all good. She's still breech though, but mw says that's to be expected with a low placenta as it's more comfortable for baby. She also said that is probably why I'm getting pain across the top of my bump and terrible heartburn. Yeah, thanks for that baby! Hmm Get your arse the other way up girlie!

minimooo · 30/01/2015 15:13

oh, so sorry town! I forgot to say hi! Smile

lildottie · 30/01/2015 15:24

moo hope baby flips up before it's too late. still time yet though isn't there?
As for me i'm feeling ok. busy working today so thats keeping my mind off it. regularly giving my tum a rub to encourage them though!

Hi indigo so excited for your scan.

minimooo · 30/01/2015 15:39

I think so lil. Midwife said it wouldn't be a concern until 36 weeks, so it gives us another 8 weeks or so. I'm not too worried about it the moment. Just wish I could have a break from the heartburn for a while Confused This baby is in danger of looking exactly like a Rennie, I'm eating so many of them.

Keep rubbing that belly. Sending you lots of sticky thoughts (eurgh, that sounded much grosser than it was meant to!) Grin

LaLa5 · 30/01/2015 16:25

Mini I was shown at daisy the other day to get on all fours and rotate body clockwise, then bring one leg up to the arm on all fours and rotate, then do same on other side. Also on all fours then arch back and then flatten. Apparently it helps encourage baby to turn? I'll check on mon as I might have got it wrong.

Zyla it sounds good to have a plan, how are you feeling?

Indigo hi!

Stoat hang on in there, I know waiting is agony xx

Wil have you had any sleep?

Popz are you feeling any better about name now you've had time to get used to it?

My test results came back ok

ChatEnOeuf · 30/01/2015 16:47

Glad your wee is clear, La

Pethidine and diamorph (and meptid) are all opiates, and all have the potential to sedated mums and babies. pethidine is worst for it, then diamorph, then meptid. As you'd expect, the pricing structure is reversed Wink. I can't have an epidural (spinal surgery), so had an agreement that if I were to need more than G&A, I could try a fentanyl PCA - a rapid acting, short-lasting opiate that goes straight into my veins. Same pain relief, much less chance of the baby being knocked out, and a PITA for the MWs to manage Grin That's what I'm aiming for this time if needed, as there's no bloody G&A over here.

Hi Indigo, how are you feeling?

teejayem · 30/01/2015 17:08

My arse has turned against me.

Not satisfied with being horridly constipated all last week, forcing me to take Lactulose to prevent giant log style poo, it's now decided that the litres of gaviscon I'm consuming to stave off the feeling of drinking battery acid makes me runny poo uncontrollably.

And I've got a fucking great stretch mark on the side of my arse. We have fallen out. Big Style.

willywallace · 30/01/2015 18:03

Oh no Tee Shock . Thought Gaviscon was supposed to have the opposite effect. Bugger off arse rain!

I agree with Popz re diamorphine.

Slept for an hour and a half La. It's the new 8 hours Wink .

RPopz · 30/01/2015 18:37

I think my arse has turned on me too tee ... it's killing me and I'm praying it's not piles! Shock Plus I'm pumping for England and can't even blame being a preggo! last night's kfc maybe Hmm

Yes I am thanks La Smile Silly hormones! Though I am still enjoying the safety net of being able to change it relatively easily within a year.... Grin

TheBooMonster · 30/01/2015 18:47

Bah. Awaiting transport then off to hospital for reduced movement :s

LaLa5 · 30/01/2015 18:48

Thought some of you mums might find this familiar here

LaLa5 · 30/01/2015 18:48

OP posts:
lildottie · 30/01/2015 18:58

eek boo hope all is OK

la that is good!

ChatEnOeuf · 30/01/2015 19:07

Ha, I like that La, remind me of it in 21 weeks...

Boo hope all is OK in there.

Infant gaviscon bungs them up like concrete, don't know about the grown-up stuff :)

LaLa5 · 30/01/2015 19:21

God I just weighed myself :( I've put on 10lb so far. I'm at top end of what's advisable for this stage :(. Feel bit crap as I thought I was being healthy but I guess there was Christmas then 5 weeks where the only things I felt like eating were pizza and crisps. I know it is normal to gain weight but I hate it. Hope it'll balance out in this trimester as I'm eating more healthily

OP posts:
willywallace · 30/01/2015 19:57

If it makes you feel better La, I dropped a stone just by giving birth. It'll sort itself out.

Hope all is ok Boo.

LaLa5 · 30/01/2015 19:59

Oh I know it's twattish to worry about it, but I just felt a bit disappointed as I thought I was all 'check you out slim preggers lady with your bump and no fat' and then looked in the mirror and got a big fat reality check backed up by scales!!!

I'll get over it Grin and yes wil that does make me feel better!

OP posts:
teejayem · 30/01/2015 20:07

Christ, I am too scared to go near the scales, especially as Mars milk drink is one of the only things that is helping with heartburn.....

aaaaaand I've just ordered a pizza :(

DulcetMoans · 30/01/2015 20:32

Oh no boo, how scary. Hope you get seen to quickly and all is ok.

No going near scales here either, thought midwife might check the other day but she didn't so who knows! Not eating properly but could go either way.
