20th JSing GRADS thread - our chat's still filthy, just not in front of the baby...

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 20th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 37th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Gripe water does still exist, but unfortunately what made is effective was alcohol and the buggers powers that be removed it a few years ago. No idea what's in it now. DD was a horrifically windy girl - her GGM even commented on it, and she was not known for talking of such things! Infacol helped, as did cuddling her on her tummy ('tiger in the tree'). She slept on half propped up on her side as well. It did get better but she's still a windypants now at 3! I'd go down the reflux route first before trying to exclude stuff from your diet - it has to be total exclusion to work, and that's a big commitment to make for what could be months...

Oh La, I did the same with some old fat trousers...fine until lunchtime when I had to undo the buttons...is it too short to pull it over the top of the bump??

Stoat, stop Googling. Sorry it's a whole extra week to wait, we were getting ahead of ourselves there.

Lil, are you pregnant yet??!

Pisghetti · 29/01/2015 13:42

I brought soup into work but it wasn't exciting me so I nipped out and bought a large portion of chips from the chippy. I've definitely swollen up after lunch but my nice maternity trousers are very accommodating Grin

I think my ribs are opening up. Wish we could fit stretchy panels in those to make it a bit more comfortable.

Pisghetti · 29/01/2015 13:53

x post - Lil squeeee! Do you just have to put your feet up and wait now?

I suspect DS was post alcohol Chat (although if not, that may explain his lust for shandy now....)

Is there any easy way of working out which way around baby is? At my last appointment she was oblique. I've tried changing my sitting position to try and encourage a move. I have a hard lump in line with my waist (or where my waist used to be) so not sure if that is her head (in which case I should stop poking it) or a shoulder/knee. I feel movement all over but the bigger shuffles seem to be low down.

TheBooMonster · 29/01/2015 14:46

pis in my not remotely expert opinion sounds like baby is still head up, when's your next midwife appointment?

TheBooMonster · 29/01/2015 14:58

www.totsbots.com/product-category/clearance/last-chance-to-buy/papoozle-last-chance-to-buy/ for people looking at slings the papoozle is down to £19.99 here from £49.99 wishes I'd waited and got the green but the red is still nice

lildottie · 29/01/2015 15:11

chat depends on how you define pregnant i guess. there are 2 embryo's in my womble! one grade 1 IVF one grade 2 ICSI. and i'm now in the biggest twot of my life. feel more than gutted we had none to freeze from 7 embryos but it obvously wasnt meant to be was it!

Pisghetti · 29/01/2015 15:13

I think you're right Boo. I'm seeing her next week. I guess I have a while yet for the baby to wriggle around (33+3)? DS had settled into position by this point but I think that's more common for first babies.

teejayem · 29/01/2015 15:15

!

TheBooMonster · 29/01/2015 15:39

yay! lil has a wobble full of embryo's! fx for your tww!

aye pis plenty of turning time! you're 'stretchier' this time round, so I think there's more chance of baby getting in the right position anyhow. I think.

Pisghetti · 29/01/2015 15:55

Aw Lil it's amazing! Hang on in there Lil'twins x

LaLa5 · 29/01/2015 16:17

Squeeeeeeal!! Lil I'm cheering on your little embryos!!! Stick little bros, stick! How long til you know?

Essie I had a student for my original appointment so 20 mins took an hour, she forgot to send off my scan letter and give me my mat exemption paperwork. Joys!

Have pulled skirt up right under boobs so I look like a big squishy tube Grin

Boo she told me uti can bring on labour so I would need treatment ASAP. It's made me a bit anxious, particularly with 2 day wait for results

Boots have offers on avent steriliser and pump just now. Who was it who recommended pump? Was it the manual or the electric?

Oooh lil I've got everything crossed for you xx

Cymraes17 · 29/01/2015 17:13

Anyone who is interested. Tidy books are offering 20% off at the mo. We have a bookcase its amazing and the box with the clock. Now ordered bunk buddys for 2 eldest. www.tidy-books.co.uk

LaLa5 · 29/01/2015 17:38

My bump is very sore at the bottom :( I'm hoping it's wind and not uti related

lildottie · 29/01/2015 17:43

they say to test at 14 days la today being day1 but you all know I wouldn't be a jser if I didn't test early Grin I plan to test daily from tomorrow to see the trigger hcg leave my system then get bfp early as possible. weird thing is if I get a bfp I'll have no idea if its one or two growing until scan at 8 weeks!

laurenamium · 29/01/2015 17:46

Oh wow how exciting lil everything is crossed for you for the twot!

la I hope you're okay!

My pains in my fanjo are getting worse. It hurts all of the time and I get what feels like a stitch but without the breathlessness when I walk for more than 10 minutes just in 1 side. It hurts on a night too if I don't use my maternity pillow. I'm sure it's all normal and it's "I need medical attention" pain yet- just the pain in the stomach when i walk that hurts that much. it's just annoying and always there. DP is finally taking me seriously and has earned himself man points tonight tidying the playroom so I didn't have to crawl and be up and down doing it as that hurts the most. He's currently tidying DDs room with DD and I'm sat down Shock that never happens at this time of night!

Sorry for a moany post!

willywallace · 29/01/2015 17:50

Their stuff is so cute Cym. I was coveting a bookcase for ages but then got a ridiculously good deal on a vertbaudet one which hasn't even fallen apart yet.

Lil, I am doing a mini pom pom shake until the end of the TWOT. Have everything crossed for you. Was it painful getting it done?

Thanks Chat. I did think about propping her up on her side but was worried by all the SIDS stuff. But might give that a try.

Pis, I felt really uncomfortable when baby was transverse if that's any help. No idea how to tell yourself though. I think the positions are designed to get baby in correct place for birth so I wouldn't worry about them turning from proper way back to transverse if you see what I mean.

DulcetMoans · 29/01/2015 18:06

What an exciting day lil! Didn't realised it happened so soon. Hope you have plans for resting with feet up from now until test day. Get those ICs ready - although will it be confusing if you have HGC in the system already? Will it leave quick enough for you to know its a new BFP. We are all egging on those lil-eggs though!

Will you defo have that midwife all the time *essie? Not easy if you don't get on but so far I've only seen mine twice so not so we click either!

Need a pregnancy bargain thread to sort through these deals!

Size of a toilet roll today!

fattycow · 29/01/2015 18:19

The baby is really active today! Smile

ChatEnOeuf · 29/01/2015 18:55

Eeeek!! Lil you've a pair in there! Well done little embryos :)

Dulcet I love that app, but my toilet rolls are bigger than the tub of B&J's that I've been eating incubating all week, what's up with that?! Moved on to a tissue box now. Yawn.

La if they were concerned, they would have started you on antibiotics without waiting for culture.

I remember fanjo pains, Lauren, not fun at the best of times. Good man-point earning by you DH though.

Pis generally the head is hard, the bottom squashy...but plenty of MWs and junior docs get it wrong, so it must be half tricky. DD was transverse with her bum down until 33w - they can and do wriggle round, it's just mighty uncomfortable when they do it!

LaLa5 · 29/01/2015 19:06

I still can't get this app to work. It is bump.com isn't it?

OP posts:
LaLa5 · 29/01/2015 19:11

I've just had a nerf gun battle with nephew and DH.

Relented and cooked my steak medium instead of rare - 6 week celebration tea Smile

LaLa5 · 29/01/2015 20:39

Oh and me and mr la dtd this morning first time in 16 WEEKS! I definitely split something....

I did ruin the mood a bit by laughing at the thought of the baby being poked in the head with a penis

OP posts:
lildottie · 29/01/2015 20:57
