20th JSing GRADS thread - our chat's still filthy, just not in front of the baby...

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 20th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 37th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Our midwife's practice has its own page. Smile

DulcetMoans · 25/01/2015 14:16

Yes, popz did it too look! I'm not alone. I've been told I would see her throughout pregnancy but maybe not birth. It's good but don't feel you get time to really chat. I know they aren't for that but just feel like I'm meant to have this relationship with her that I don't.

A practice FB page would make the stalking much easier fatty! Is it used much?

No pis, these people can't really exist?! And get pregnant?! I'd watch that JK though if it got that far. What colour you going for anyway?

Good move on January detox mountain! My friend did that to me when she was pregnant couple years ago. Felt such a fool when I found out, it worked though!

ChatEnOeuf · 25/01/2015 14:24

Pis really?! Shock Grin

Dulcet I've never stalked a MW but I was already friends with the two involved with my delivery...perils of working in a hospital!

Have great fun in the Alps Mountain :)

I'm on our June board - I quite like it though the early weeks were hard - and I didn't look until about 9w. There's a FB group with about 40 people in, just about manageable - I'm not cheating on lot, I promise!

LaLa5 · 25/01/2015 16:56

I just heard baby's heartbeat :) my Doppler arrived. Took me a while to find it but it's wonderful! I can record it and send it to people too

Where are you all? Up mountains and feeding babies?

We just picked up a cot bed. It's a mamas and papas one just like this

It is in excellent condition, £40 from Facebook Smile

Hurray La that's a bargain.

Stoaty I hope you're ok

Pis I can't get over the stupidity of some people.

We've spent this afternoon at my parents. My 22mo niece was there and I had 4wo nephew asleep on me for a while and practiced my baby calming techniques. DH had him asleep on him too. It's all good practice.

I've stopped stressing about the babies room. We are going to delay he building work til, next year. I can't cope with that and pregnancy/newborn. Instead I'll move my desk from box room into spare room and the baby can have the box room.
We don't have to move anything til the summer though and I need to get rid of loads of crap stuff

laurenamium · 25/01/2015 19:02

Oh la that's lovely! What a bargain! I saw my DM today and she's said she will buy us the monitor for baby so that's a big thing off the list Smile starting to feel more organised!

Pisghetti · 25/01/2015 19:55

this

I hope it's someone trolling.....

We got a bucket of cheap white emulsion to seal the plaster, then 'mineral mist' for a sky effect behind the wall stickers and 'pebble shore' for the rest. As we've gone for very light colours and the furniture is white, I'd like some bolder accents in the curtains, light shade and accessories. DP isn't convinced so I'll have to go shopping by myself talk him around.

The monitor is the only thing left on the list! DP is looking into something like a CCTV camera Confused

Why is it Sunday already wails

TheBooMonster · 25/01/2015 20:18

I tried to stalk my midwife right at the beginning because I was given the pack of info with her details a good month before my first appointment with her and wanted to check her out, she's not on Facebook though from what I can tell :(

fleur TBH If I could not have DH in the room I'd have him as far away as possible, he's impatient, worries too much and is whiney more whiney than me shock horror but neither side of the family would let me get away with it :/

had a set to with a customer at work today, he tried to chew me out for being too slow on the till, (every other till had a queue a mile long too so it's not like I was holding people up all that especially) I was having full on branson hicks and had heartburn, so I gave him what for! He ended up putting his stuff down and leaving looking a bit embarrassed but also angry. I'm half expecting to hear about it in an official capacity next week as it was overhear by other staff, though no one came and stepped in one way or another :/

TheBooMonster · 25/01/2015 20:21

omg pis... do people that stupid exist? she has to be trolling right? right...?!

DulcetMoans · 25/01/2015 20:39

That's amazing pis, I like to think it is real. Nursery colours sound nice. Mine is a plain old 'apricot crush' all round. Planning wall art though too.

Great news on the bargain and the heartbeat la! Do you have to store the crib for the next few month now?

laurenamium · 25/01/2015 20:46

Oh no boo if people overheard it they should have stepped in that's awful! Hope you are okay!

willywallace · 25/01/2015 21:16

That's awful Boo, I'd hate to deal with members of the public.

Why don't you want DH there Fleur? I could not have done it without MrWil. You need a pretty strong hand to withstand all the crushing you will do of it Grin .

Since we're talking about labour, can someone explain why my foof is more sore now than it was the day after giving birth? Achy foof and screaming nipples do not make me happy. I feel like someone has scrubbed my nipples with sandpaper.

Cymraes17 · 25/01/2015 21:26

I really shouldn't be watching call the midwife by myself. So sad. Cried like a baby.
20week scan tomorrow! Hopefully get to know what flavour, need to know so we can sort out the logistics, where all DCs are going to sleep. We live in an end terraced 2 1/2 bedroom house. We need a bigger house, but in no way shape or form can we afford to move, and no room to extend. Grr.
Anyhoo.
boo thats awful, some people are so rude.
la good work with the cotbed.
fleur DH was useless the first 2 times, last time I gave him a job to make sure that I drank enough water, and he did well! Nice to have him there, and he really enjoyed the first cuddle.

RPopz · 25/01/2015 22:08

Haaaa Pis that reminds me of a Jeremy Kyle where the guy demanded a DNA test on his kid cos it was ginger and he wasn't!! Grin

Good barginz La!

My mw stalking was pretty fruitless tbh Dulce... her profile was all private! Angry

Eek Wil. Have you got plenty of painkillers? I've only been able to stop taking them this week. Still a bit ouchy if I sit wrong though... Haha.

TheBooMonster · 25/01/2015 22:29

wil I suspect it's bruising (after all your food went from nothing to 10cm then had a baby pushed through it O.o) and swelling which wouldn't set in straight away, maybe try taking arnica to see if that helps?

TheBooMonster · 25/01/2015 22:30

Blush autocorrect is not my friend... clearly I didn't mean food I meant foof glares at computer

Pisghetti · 25/01/2015 22:34

I'm such a misery tonight! I'm sick of being in pain every time I stand up, sit down, lie down, walk, talk and fart Angry I had a massage voucher for Christmas and the woman apparently does wonders for SPD but I keep calling and leaving messages to try and arrange an appointment and she hasn't called me back. Same for a bump to baby photo shoot I bought off Groupon - no call backs.

I grumped at DP about being sick of being in pain and uncomfortable and he just said well it was planned. Yeah that makes me feel better Hmm

I think some sleep will help and normal service will resume tomorrow. I have soooo much work to do which isn't helping but I only have to keep head down and arse up for another three weeks.....

lildottie · 25/01/2015 22:47

Hi all

(zyla yay for no news. Fx it all stays quiet for a few more weeks!)

la yay for the cot bed! bargain! I have 2 cots in my loft I think lol. Make sure you keep the hospital bag list safe for me too ;)
Hope the wierd pain has eased and isn't a uti.

pis i'd have punched him. may as well share the pain and discomfort if it was planned!

stoat sounds like bean is just snuggling in a bit deeper but gx its nothing more sinister for you.

dulcet i love that you fb stalked your midwife! I always assumed gp surgery mw's were different to hospital mw's anyway. clearly have a lot to learn!

well I've done my trigger shot tonight so i plan on poas in the morning for a laugh to see a second line! starting to feel a bit scary now. That's possibly made worse by the fact I still have a dozen tax returns to file by Saturday and 3 days I can't do anything this week potentially!

ZylaB · 26/01/2015 02:59

la cotbed looks ace :)

wil poor you! Stay on top of pain relief.

lil fx for lots of good eggs on collection, I'm so excited for you Grin

pis kick him in the balls a few times then when he complains he can't stand properly from the pain, tell him 'it wa s planned so the pain doesn't matter right?'

boo that customer was awful! They need to look after you more!!

willywallace · 26/01/2015 06:49

So excited for you Lil!

Pis, MrPis' comment would give me the rage. Would like to see him go through pg without complaining. Punch him in the face and then tell him you 'planned' it so he can't object. Wink

Good God she was awake from 9pm-4am - mostly feeding. When will she learn that night time is for sleeping?!

willywallace · 26/01/2015 06:50

Ha Zyla, I couldn't see your message when I posted for some reason - great minds think alike though Wink .

LaLa5 · 26/01/2015 07:15

Morning!

Boo the customer was a tool!

Pis mr pis was a tool! Tell him he owes you lots of foot massages for that stupid comment.

I'm on a mission to get everything I need as cheap as possible! I trawl free ads and Facebook groups for bargains. Try as I might tho no one sells a snuzpod for less than £150!

OP posts:
LaLa5 · 26/01/2015 07:16

Oh and I stalked my me last night on fbk bit there are 12 midwives with same name!

OP posts:
DulcetMoans · 26/01/2015 07:47

Haha. I will drag you down with me la. I had to try a couple combinations of mines name.

Sorry you are feeling shit pis, DH does deserve some mild violence for that comment. Is that 3 weeks you have left at work? That's nothing! You can get through that and hopefully in a couple weeks you won't care too much about what is left to do. Just get outta there!

Next step lil - exciting!! How many days do you take trigger shots for? Hope you can relax this week, around the tax returns!

Good luck today cymraes! I watched call the midwife too, was sad. No tears here though, made of stone! I'm told that will change soon when the hormones really kick in!
