20th JSing GRADS thread - our chat's still filthy, just not in front of the baby...

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 20th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 37th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Those of you who've had a uti whilst pregnant what does it feel like? These pains are not going away and they don't feel baby related. Down at bottom of uterus, quite achy on my side. I feel sick and dizzy but that might be coz I'm on a bus.

OP posts:
LaLa5 · 24/01/2015 10:18

I'm really hoping they go away. About to get on train to London where I'm staying overnight :(

mountaingirl01 · 24/01/2015 10:58

Drink loads and loads of water just in case la like loads and loads and then even more.

Me too purple, and I had really sexy dreams last night including David caves, not my husband Blush woke up very much wanting to DTD but scared. I was even scared that by getting turned on I was causing contractions completely potty

LaLa5 · 24/01/2015 11:24

:) mountain yes those are the type of dreams! Mine last night were sort of an apocalypse - there were tigers and bears running around and we were trying to escape. At one point we were driving along motorway and noticed it suddenly ended so had to do a u turn. Gwyneth Paltrow was standing there directing people. Seriously - that woman gets everywhere!

Then we were running a bar and someone tried to tell me JD and coke was an expensive version of red wine. I was incensed! (Cocktail bartender style nightmare)

Hilarious!

I'm on train and pain has subsided so perhaps it was just stretching. I'm usually very good at remembering to drink water so will keep at it!

I think I'm going to use some of my horse sale money to take dh out for a night in London. He's being so lovely and patient with me even when I'm completely unreasonable. Want to thank him for it. Or perhaps a blow job would suffice...?

KatoPotato · 24/01/2015 11:50

I dreamt that I was in a hotel room with DH and DS and I only had 15minutes and one suitcase to fully pack everything. It was very stressful, then the actor who was in Robocop 'can you fly bobby?' Came to pick us up and I had ran out of space for things.

teejayem · 24/01/2015 11:56

I keep dreaming I'm in Jurassic park and I wake up exhausted after being chased by dinosaurs :(

Last night I was involved in saving the world with Quentin Tarantino... Best sexy dream was the one featuring kit Harrington (Jon snow from game of thrones)

Purplecircle · 24/01/2015 11:57

I had a breastfeeding dream last night. It was very weird.

La, have you sold your horse?

Pisghetti · 24/01/2015 12:09

Are you in the right timeframe for round ligament pain La? That quite low down and off to the side. Hope you have a nice time in London (assuming pleasure rather than work)

FOMO on the dreams - I'm not remembering any of mine at the moment. We haven't DTD in ages - DP doesn't seem particularly interested Sad we've got a night to ourselves later so I'm going to try to jump him. It's hard to pull off 'sexy' when you don't bend in the middle and your boobs are happily resting on your belly but I'll do my best!

ChatEnOeuf · 24/01/2015 12:34

Snow was lovely but the sun's shining and it's rapidly melting - lots of snowballs but no men or dwarves this time.

No weird dreams here, I don't think I ever hit dream sleep, such is the need to pee overnight!

LaLa5 · 24/01/2015 14:31

Pis nearly 16 weeks? Could that be what it is? It's come back :(

Purple yes , I had to :(

OP posts:
Fleurchamp · 24/01/2015 14:36

la I had no symptoms when I had a uti (but I do when not pregnant)
The pains sound like those that I had earlier in the week, low down, more to the right than left and really bloody uncomfortable!
They lasted about 2 days and I feel fine now.

willywallace · 24/01/2015 14:53

Round ligament pain can be quite sore La but it's not a sharp pain I wouldn't say. I reckon if still there tomorrow go and ask if you can send a sample off to GP.

LaLa5 · 24/01/2015 15:04

Just read up and that sounds exactly like the dull pain I'm getting! Thank you Grin

Hey viroids I hope everyone is okay! I went to see my sister and DF last night and she's put aside a lot of baby clothes for me Grin I've just sorted through them and there's 10 hats Shock also lots of baby grows and vests and dribble bibs and things so I'm feeling very grateful and a bit more organised too! Definitely took a chunk off my shopping list!

Does anyone have a hospital bag list? I'm going to start getting toiletries etc on my food shops and put them straight in the bags, but not sure how many baby outfits etc I need to pack, do I pack enough for a couple of days and assume I will have to stay in?

RPopz · 24/01/2015 17:14

Round ligament pain is agony La, you have my sympathies. Hope Mr La enjoys his night out. Think I'd just have gone with blow job and spent the cash on a nice bag Grin

Are you braving the antenatal Freds? Ours transformed into a secret fb group and its been so useful. Have "met" some really good people.

Who's next to pop??

Pisghetti · 24/01/2015 17:33

Red and Zyla are next my buffers

I'm packing enough for a couple of days Lauren for the baby - 5 vests, 5 sleep suits, a pack of newborn nappies, water wipes and nappy sacks (plus coconut oil to coat baby's bottom pre meconium if I get the chance), hats, scratch mitts, going home outfit plus cardigan, blanket, stretchy wrap and a towel.

For me - breast pads and nipple cream, maternity pads, 2 pyjamas/nighties (separate from clothes for labour/delivery), towels, dressing gown, leggings and loose tops, nursing bras, granny pants, shampoo, conditioner and comb, shower gel, moisturiser, deodorant, wee bit of make up for the photos vain stretch mark cream, chargers and books.

I'll be packing some extra clothes for me and the baby and putting them in a rucksack in the nursery so if we have to stay for a few days, DP can find it easily. Also the car seat will be fitted.

There'll be some more stuff for labour too (lip balm, hair bobble, drinks and snacks, tankini for birthing pool, nightie if I can't use the pool or have to come out). I might pack some nice tea bags (the rooms have kettles)

Hmm maybe I should invest in a trunk :-/

Pisghetti · 24/01/2015 17:39

Oh and I picked up a couple of zebra sleep suits having been inspired by Pingu Popz Grin DP and DS didn't look that impressed but I gave not a single fuck.

Pisghetti · 24/01/2015 17:41

I know Pingu isn't a zebra by the way... Just liking the black and white vibe...

willywallace · 24/01/2015 18:09

Pis you are v organised. Think what I actually used this time was 2 bodysuits, 2 sleepsuits, cover for car seat, maternity pads, pyjamas, toiletries for shower and teeth, change of clothes, phone charger, deodorant, nipple cream.
Just gave birth in clothes I went in in (May have had to take the trousers off Wink ). Would always advise taking outfits for a few days though. We get nappies and cotton wool from hospital.

RPopz · 24/01/2015 18:30

Awww we love our zebra sleep suits! Grin

Good list pis and good call on the lip balm!! My mouth and lips were SO dry in labour, don't think the gas and air helped. I didn't intentionally pack any but I remembered it was in my handbag... but not for hours... left it in the labour room too afterwards Angry

RPopz · 24/01/2015 18:31

I just ended up giving birth in the scabby vest top I turned up in too. Even though I took lovely new Jim jams for that purpose... Hmm They were lovely to get changed into afterwards though Smile

TheBooMonster · 24/01/2015 20:19

la most of my pains were in my back, and they were much worse with an empty bladder than a full one, didn't feel like normal UTI pain, last time i had a UTI it had been initially misdiagnosed as appendicitis...

ZylaB · 24/01/2015 21:10

(Shhhhhh don't mention it too much cos it'll tempt the law of sod, but - haven't heard from hospital today and I'm kinda assuming if the results were bad they'd have called by now! I'm not due to go back until wed for growth scan and consultant time, so am hoping it continues. 34+1 today and counting, keep growing little girl!)

la lots of water to help with whatever reason, but if you don't feel right go to gp and get them to test your wee cos bladder infections aren't good when pg, be careful :)

chat I'm also peeing loads overnight, it's silly!

laurenamium · 24/01/2015 21:16

Thank you pis and wil for your lists Smile I'll get organising, it's all starting to feel a bit real and scary!

splodge77 · 24/01/2015 23:27

These lists are brill. Shit I need to start getting organised. I shall be packing two buckets into my hospital bag to hang off me tits. With DS I spent my week in hospital wringing breast milk out if my bras, nighties. DS's sleepsuits, you name it I leaked on it. Lovely. I also read some silly book which suggested taking in your own pillow 'to remind you of home' - of course said pillow was under my bum when midwife broke my waters. It went swiftly in the bin! More importantly than all this I still haven't decided to try for natural birth or go ELCS. Argh don't know what to do! Ah well.
