20th JSing GRADS thread - our chat's still filthy, just not in front of the baby...

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 20th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 37th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

I second the leggings essie I sacked off my work trousers at about 8 weeks as was so bloated and went for normal leggings, and then mat leggings about 11-12 weeks. They keep your tum warm on the cold days!

Have been so looking forward to payday, it's been a long long month. Have bene waiting to pick up a couple of lovely things for tiny tee, but no, my first shop is for anusol and lactulose .

RPopz · 23/01/2015 13:52

We went for Isaac La ... But everyone's been calling him Ted since he was born so now I look at him and he's clearly a Ted!

RPopz · 23/01/2015 13:55

Its sad how subsequent pregnancies are seen as less "special" somehow! I kinda experienced it with my work colleague who was pg with her 3rd at the same time as me... noone really gave a shit for her but all fussed round me. Felt a bit bad for her. I'm pretty sad I won't be having my first pregnancy ever again now!

EssiesInvisibleLlama · 23/01/2015 13:56

I'm 10 weeks and only just started to struggle with trousers in the last few days. Hair bobble won't work with these trews. Shame cos I love them! They have that annoying metal hook fastening at the front. I have hatred for leggings but looks like I'm going to have to try and embrace them. Maybe a bellyband might mean I get a few more weeks out of these fave work trousers. Where do I get one of those? Sorry I'm so clueless.

Payday here too tee, sorry you are having to spend yours on such delights!

Got my flu jab in a bit, but just had a panic thought, is it ok to have a flu jab when on antibiotics?!

LaLa5 · 23/01/2015 14:04

Essie mention it to them and they'll let you know. Leggings were my saviour! But now the band goes across my bump and hurts

I've taken to wearing a panty liner because otherwise I feel like I've constantly wet my pants Blush the glamour!

I love both those names popz. Do you think he'll grow into Isaac? If you like ted better then I'm sure it won't matter just calling him that Smile. How are you getting on?

I feel fat because I just ate a whole bag of haribo. I blame the baby... S/he made me do it

Most of my DH's family are christened one name and called something completely different, so it's not unheard of to be officially called one thing and affectionately known as something else!

I have googled bump bands and am close to ordering one. Think it might actually save me.

Yes, going to go to nurse and ask her as I can't get through on the phone cos it's permanently engaged.

lildottie · 23/01/2015 14:16

can you deregister him popz? my mum.did that with dB. dsf cheated on her at 8m pg so she registered dB with her maiden name. she deregistered him with dsf name when they got married. dB was 10mo.

20 follicles this morning. 9 look big enough to make it for collection. waiting for a phone call to tell me if they'll do collection Mon or Tues. lining is where it needs to be now too thank god.

teejayem · 23/01/2015 14:18

Mat leggings are the way forward. I've got a selection from New Look, Primark and Debenhams. New look are the best value, and pull up to your bra. Deeply unsexy, but SO comfy esp if you've got the cut in half feeling.
I got my bump bands from ASOS essie - they are good, I just have to remember to make sure they haven't rolled up while I've sat down, I've been using them to to wear jeans with the flies wide open I've not worn for YEARS.
Also on daily pantyliners la. Lovely goopy cm. :(

LaLa5 · 23/01/2015 14:21

Hooray lil!!! Almost there...

Bubble hem tops were quite useful for hiding an early bump (and lasted a little while once it turned into a proper bump). Sadly I was already into my 'fat wardrobe' when I conceived or I'd have been ok for a little while!

I lived on haribo and diet coke when I was expecting DS La. I felt double guilty - I was growing my baby on utter shite and non-veggie utter shite at that Blush Blush he's G&T now though so it can't have hurt

Insert a huge age gap between your children and you can experience that PFB feeling all over again!

I'm having some mega work stress. Trying to farm out little bites of my work and no-one is having any of it! So I've decided fuck it all. I'm going to put my suggestions to my boss and he can decide. And as he's the big cheese, I doubt he'll get all the bitching and whining I'm getting (although he deserves it for not replacing me!)

Fleurchamp · 23/01/2015 14:28

essie I was on antibiotics for a uti but still got my flu jab.

I am also struggling for clothes. I wear dresses and skirts for work mainly and although I have a few jersey dresses which are bliss most are tailored and although start out alright in the morning, but mid afternoon I can barely breathe.

I have some maternity clothes which I bought in the sales but they either look like I am wearing clothes too big for me or make me look 6 months gone.

I have found jackets and scarves to be useful camouflage (and not out of place as it's freezing cold in the office).

I have told management but not the rest of the staff about my "situation" - I'm pretty private and feel odd telling people something so personal! Hoping they just hear/ work it out for themselves.

Pisghetti · 23/01/2015 14:29

Great news Lil! Go-Go Grapefruit Ovaries!

Fleurchamp · 23/01/2015 14:29

Yey lil

Someone else mentioned that egg collection sounds like they will be put into a little wicker basket- I can't get that image out of my head now and envisage an American style Easter egg hunt Grin

RPopz · 23/01/2015 14:30

Eeek lil! Exciting times.

It's pretty easy to change their name in the first year. I'm trying to give it a few days...

LaLa5 · 23/01/2015 14:33

I think that might've been me fleur - either that or someone put it in my head too!

I've been allowed home from monitoring, but told it depends on lab results! They didn't make me wait there for the results as they know I've had a tough time of it recently, but had to promise to have my phone on me. So now if they call and aren't happy with anything I'm going back in to stay!

The only problem is, not sure when the results will be in, could be today, could be tomorrow lol.

Am watching a film then having a lovely bath I think, while I can hehee.

34 weeks today! That's a milestone, if I can manage 2 more weeks I'll be really happy, anything after that is a bonus I think Grin

Pisghetti · 23/01/2015 14:37

Fleur the trick is telling the right people. I only had to tell a couple of people and lo and behold most of the 450 employees knew within a couple of weeks! It even made it onto the agenda of a management team meeting (no idea why - maybe I had been up for a promotion before I got knocked up)

Pisghetti · 23/01/2015 14:38

Aw fab Zyla! Glad they let you come home too!

LaLa5 · 23/01/2015 14:57

Hooray zyla! Fx she stays put for now.

Pis i did trickle-telling. Told friends at work first, my team, then subtly dropped it into conversation over the following 5 weeks til most people knew, then the bump did the rest!

Fleurchamp · 23/01/2015 15:11

Great news zyla GX for you x

Trickle telling is a good idea, I could tell those in my little office and let the wave ripple from there.

laurenamium · 23/01/2015 15:26

Ah good news you're allowed home again zyla! Hopefully they'll let you stay there!

I'm having a confidence crisis day today, feel like a round puffy elephant and of course the only way to combat this is to have McDonald's for dinner Hmm poor DP is getting the brunt of it

teejayem · 23/01/2015 15:35

woohoo lil

I managed to duck out of making an office wide announcement and let my 'Baby on board' badge do the talking.... far easier.

Hurrah for the great escape zyla

Fleurchamp · 23/01/2015 15:45

Oh tee my DH got me one of those (although I don't commute Hmm) as a cute present.

Maybe I'll just wear it round the office Grin

Can it pleeeease be 5pm now? Angry

teejayem · 23/01/2015 16:39

They have their uses Fleur! Unfortunately getting a seat on the frigging tube isn't one of them.

I've got to hang on till 5.30. Have bought a nice dress for party we are at tomorrow and spent too much in asos again. Oops. Blush

LaLa5 · 23/01/2015 16:40

Does anyone else get tingly nipples? I'm wondering if I'm having another boob increase. I feel breathless and uncomfortable today as well
